You shouldn't spend the fund that comes from an unconfirmed transaction.
You should use a wallet which supports coin control, so that you can choose which coin you want to be used for your transaction.

I actually am not aware if the funds I sent in that txn was unconfirmed. I'll take a note of this in my future transactions.

I will also be researching which wallet I can use with the coin control as you've said. Thank you.

The transaction has now being confirmed…

I just realized that mempool makes a sound whenever a transaction  that has just been confirmed is opened in your device.

It did. I received the notification as well.

The transaction has now being confirmed…
Yeah the transaction has been speed up from 53 sat/vbyte to 72 sat/vbyte, no wonder it's confirmed ASAP.

Now @OP don't need to worry anymore if he not received his 0.3 BTC. Cheesy

It's actually just 0.013 btc lol. I wish I have 0.3  Cheesy

To just make you have a better understanding, there is no Bitcoin transaction that is made without it finally getting confirmed except the transaction was terminated by the sender before getting confirmed, but likely reason for transaction issues are.
+ Sender sent the Bitcoin to the wrong address
+ Low transaction fee making the transaction delayed
+ Wrong sending procedure by the sender.

No one can predict the time because the fee changes are highly drastic so even if you use the actual fee needed for TX to be included in the next block meanwhile fee can skyrocket and you may have to wait more than expected or increase the fee according to the changes.
Yep, withdrawing Bitcoin at the moment is really risky when you need it ASAP, I'd suggest to convert it to other coins if you want to cash out.

Do you know how long would it take to get the transaction confirmed?
No one can predict the time because the fee changes are highly drastic so even if you use the actual fee needed for TX to be included in the next block meanwhile fee can skyrocket and you may have to wait more than expected or increase the fee according to the changes.

Parent/sender can use the RBF to increase the fee while the receiver can use CPFP to increase the fee.

I'm trying to add the second txn you sent to viabtc but it's not working. So that means I have to wait for the first parent txn to be confirmed first?

Viabtc fee accelerator has certain criteria to be eligible to be included in the 100 free txns which is

Paste or enter the TXID you want to accelerate. The volume of a single transaction must be ≤0.5 KB, and the transaction fee rate should be ≥ 0.0001 BTC/KB.

If your TX doesn't meet the criteria then you can opt for their paid accelerator : https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

But it's too expensive and I don't recommend using it unless you can't do RBF or CPFP and really need the TX to be confirmed.

If you want, you can add the next one after the last gets added to their block; otherwise, wait for the average tx fee to lower to sub 30sat/vB.
The newer transactions are doing CPFP for the older transactions and according to mempool.space, the combined fee rate for the transaction in question is 44.1 sat/vbyte.

Edit:

Hi, how could I avoid my txn being mixed with parent txn with low fees? Is there a way to do it?
You shouldn't spend the fund that comes from an unconfirmed transaction.
You should use a wallet which supports coin control, so that you can choose which coin you want to be used for your transaction.

If you don't have any other fund in your wallet and you want to make a transaction which is confirmed fast, you have to pay higher fees, so that miners include both transactions (the parent and the child) in the same block.

I'm trying to add the second txn you sent to viabtc but it's not working. So that means I have to wait for the first parent txn to be confirmed first?
Yes.

edit : But it seems like the wallet has a lot of transaction history, I'm not sure you're not familiar with bitcoin

I don't. Unfortunately. Only txns I made are payments and I haven't really had the time to explore and study bitcoin yet.

Although the transaction fee that you've used is close to optimal, it has a series of 9 unconfirmed parent transactions.
Each has a parent with even lower transaction fee.

[snip]

So, before your transaction can get its first confirmation, the parents should all be confirmed with it or one-by-one from the lowest.

I only managed to add the very first parent transaction to Viabtc's free accelerator since the next should have a confirmed parent first before it can get accepted.
If you want, you can add the next one after the last gets added to their block; otherwise, wait for the average tx fee to lower to sub 30sat/vB.

I actually didn't thought of increasing my fee as I didn't saw if there is an option to.

Hello, I'm not sure where to post this. I made a transaction earlier and it's still not confirmed or showing to be in receiving on my wallet. I tried the viabtc txn accelerator but it says that my txn is unconfirmed.

Here's the txn hash: fc44e0c9b509126cf26c27869284e8f939a508d780cd9be5ec3d7b448869ccec

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with how btc txn works.

You just need to be patient with the delay because I see that the transaction you have made is being processed, although it may still take time, but you don't need to worry about the confirmation time because in the end it will also be successful. So there's no need to panic like that and stay calm and relaxed about what happens to you.

The fees you paid (+50 sat/byte) are not that low so I would imagine you should have your transaction confirmed within the next few hours.

Does the address that's sending the funds belong to you, or does it belong to some centralized service?

Hi, thank you for responding. It's my receiving address in binance. Is that going to be a problem? It's the only wallet I use for txns this past months and I never had issue receiving in it, just now.

It looks like you need to wait because you are using low transaction fees. If you want to prioritize your transactions, you can add transaction fees by using the RBF feature in the Electrum wallet. In my opinion, it's not difficult and you can look for a thread that explains how to increase transaction fees using the RBF feature
