It's not that i don't trust someone, i'm just looking for a way to do the migration.
I have 2 operational computers so i can do the sending funds by myself.
Thanks for reply, i really apreciate it..

So the best thing to do would be "export PK" and than "import PK"?

I dont mind if the multibit takes 3 days to synhronize i'm just affraid to lose my bitcoins...

So...brand new instalation and just import private keys?

If you trust me, you can send me all the bitcoins from your wallet.

Then once you have the new wallet set up and you are confident that it is working properly I'll send the bitcoins back to you.  That way you won't lose your bitcoins if you accidentally lose your old wallet.

Of course, it can be risky to trust someone that you don't know, so you'll have to decide for yourself if you feel I'm trustworthy enough to assist in this manner.

Option 1 (maybe easiest) : look into multibit.properties (it's a text file) and see where the wallets you need are located.
They have the extension .wallet
It/they may be in the same folder or not.
Those .wallet files are the most important thing to backup. All the rest is optional.

Option 2:  for each wallet you can do, from inside multibit, export private key. Those key files you can backup. They are the "short" expression of your wallet.

Hi, im having a bit problems with understanding wallet migration...

I need to install new system on my current machine and i have a wallet on it.
I tried to find a solution and everything i found is tutorial for finding my wallet files.

Can i copy content of "multibit" folder to USB and than when i install new system to instal multibit and just replace new with old files?
