BTW: Pocket WiFi = cellular network standalone WiFi hotspot.

It is very possible that the device or the ISP is doing a man-in-the-middle proxy, decrypting and then resigning https traffic. Don't do it.

You should be able to use the browser to investigate the https certificate you are getting - what domains it is valid for, and who the issuer is.

Here is the current valid certificate for bitcointalk.org:

Issuer:
CN = COMODO RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA
O = COMODO CA Limited
L = Salford
ST = Greater Manchester
C = GB

Thanks. Will check it later once I get home. Im pretty sure it was because of that "pocket wifi device" since when I transferred the SIM used in that device to my smartphone Im not getting any certificate error.

I am also using google chrome browser but not getting any error like this,did you checked if you get SSL error for bitcointalk only or other sites as well.

Thanks. Only for bitcointalk site and that error occurred only when Im using that "pocket wifi device". Are you using the same device also? If not then you won't have an error like mine.

Really want to get rid that certificate error since I like the speed rate of that pocket wifi device when use as broadband conncetion.

Good day!

Im still in the process of choosing the best plans for internet connection in my home so in the meantime Im using a broadband connection thru a pocket wifi (SIM) connected via USB. Im having the error of "Invalid Certificate" while accessing bitcointalk and stating that the connection is not secured so for safety Im not logging in. The "https" in forum's URL name has been slashed and turn to a red font.

Now, I transfer the SIM used in Pocket Wifi in my smartphone and start doing USB tethering instead and entering the forum site goes smooth without any problem.

My questions:

-How do I remove that "invalid certificate"?
-Even with the error of like that, is my connection secured since Im using only the same sim?

I will assume that the problem is in pocket wifi. I want to use the pocket wifi because it has better speed compare to my smartphone.

Browser: Google Chrome (up to date version)

Hope you understand my English. Thank you!
