It looks like you're trying to do something between the news service and the forum. There is everything on Bitcointalk - how would you like to stand out or how would you like to attract new users, or just take them from here?
My intention would never be to take users from here - this forum is a great piece of knowledge and does its functions perfectly. What we're aiming at is a
group where any news are community-based, so you are free to share your ideas, opinions and fears regarding different projects. ICO market is still shady, even though more and more is done to make people aware of the risks.
What is more, W12 which is affiliated with this group provides a
platform for secured ICO investments (any project can conduct the whole ICO or just a part of token sale via W12 platform, where
collected funds are stored in a smart contract and this smart contract releases collected funding partially, after fulfilling particular roadmap stage - so if the project doesn't meet expectations or turns out to be a scam - the funding is stopped and contributors can get the part of their investment which stayed in smart contract unreleased back). It is more like a channel where W12 can see what is the people's need - which ICOs are interesting, important, promising - so that they can reach out to them and offer the secured model of sales. In my opinion, that is something we should call ICO 2.0.
According to mahdie88, if I should post it in Announcements section - please kindly move the topic. Let's be clear, me or anyone with admin tag on the channel would not be encouraging anyone to participate in any ICO or send any funds.
We are looking for fresh infos straight from the people - people who struggle to decide which ICO can be the next unicorn. Of course, forum has great data but instant messaging gives further opportunities and the chance to share your thoughts and emotions instantly, without having second thoughts - and, let's face it, investments are often made suddenly, under the influence of emotions.
When it comes to the team being legit, you can see us on
www.w12.io - I did not want to post too many links in the first post so you won't treat my topic as just an advertisement. You can find
Linkedin profiles there of most of the members. Mine:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/kornel-gajewski-93508b165/ , the team:
https://www.linkedin.com/company/w12io/ . W12 has also a
real office in Moscow so you can meet Moscow-based members there in person.
Thanks for the feedback, even though I have some posts on my account I am quite new to the forum community (my post count comes from ANN translations and moderations in my local language - so I might say I have some ICO experience
).
