Take a look at the bitshares project which you could be voted in as a delegate earning money for your project directly off the blockchain. In summary, shareholders elect 101 delegates who are paid up to 50bts per block based on their contribution. This could be developers, marketers, or shareholders may even vote in someone like yourself based on the positive project.

I'm currently trying to raise funds to help donate blankets//socks//beanies for the homeless within our city of Seattle, as many of them aren't prepared for this upcoming winter. You might think what's this gotta do with you? An act of kindness goes a long way, and anything helps!
