I sent btc from coinspot to my electrum wallet on 12/08 at 22:00 37DtvUxMmCnmMxZf4YrEZqHp9ABtxaqTCM and I still haven't received it yet.

There isn't any incoming unconfirmed transaction for the address you provided. It looks like CoinSpot still hasn't sent the withdrawal transaction. Contact them for further help. Once they send it, the transaction should get confirmed quickly.

Is it gone or could it take a few days?
I made a request and it just shows as pending.
I have the latest version 3.3.8 and Windows 10.
TIA

Given that you've checked the destination address is correct, and still nothing is showing up on any block explorer for that address, means that it is not a problem with Electrum.

It sounds very much like the third party who are hosting your other wallet have not yet made the transaction, despite removing the balance from being available on your account. The only way to solve this is to contact them directly; there is nothing else you or anybody else can do to help.

If I caused the problem I want to know what I did so I can prevent reoccurence.
The only thing you did wrong here is trusting a third party to look after your funds. This is just one of many, many problems you can run in to using custodial wallets. I'd transfer all your coins to your Electrum wallet, and take control of them yourself.

Sorry for delay.  electrum Version is 3.3.7.  I downloaded it from Electrum.org and have been using for approx. 2 years, never had a problem before this.
If you are using Electrum 3.3.7 you couldn't have downloaded it 2 years ago. Version 3.3.7 came out at the beginning of July. You might have installed your initial Electrum software 2 years ago but question is where did you download the 3.3.7 version from?

Are you 100% sure that you didn't click on any displayed links from your Electrum software that led you to a github page or a website where you could have downloaded your current Electrum software from?

Let me clarify. When I initially started using electrum, I set it up on a usb drive and worked from the usb wallet until earlier this year.  I'm really not sure what that version was.  I then installed it on an old Android phone that had no phone service on, I only used it with my home wireless for my wallet then shut it down.  This version was installed from the Android playstore.   I am certain that I didn't click or follow any links from within the electrum application used from the phone.  I'm way too paranoid about security.  Recently I noticed the latest version 3.3.8, but playstore would only provide 3.3.7, which is what I've been using.  If 3.3.7 just came out in July then the app had to have updated somehow.  I installed it from playstore back during March/April 2019.  The transaction is coming from an online service in which I have a bitcoin wallet to make deposits or withdrawals.   This is where the transaction still shows up as pending.

I've submitted a support inquiry to see if the funds are in limbo on their end.  It's starting to sound like a problem on their end. This is a wakeup call.   If I caused the problem I want to know what I did so I can prevent reoccurence.

I appreciate all of the feedback you've provided.  I will let you know what happens with origin wallet support.   I'll let you know what I find out..

Thanks

I sent some bitcoin from a wallet

As already said, please tell more about the sending wallet - if it was an online service or a wallet where you have the private key, also the address would help.
I'd add to also check and make sure it's indeed Bitcoin you are talking about and not Bitcoin Cash or something like that...

The origin wallet still lists the transaction as pending.  Funds have left the account but hasn't made it to the recieve address
From the way OP is talking here, it sounds like the transaction is coming from a custodial wallet rather than a wallet he controls, perhaps an exchange or a web wallet. It seems like the third party has removed the coins from showing in his "account", but haven't actually broadcast the transaction yet. If this is the case, obviously he won't know the address of origin until the transaction is sent. It could be the service in question is waiting to batch transactions, it could be an error in their systems, or it could be something more sinister.

To OP, could you also please answer where are the funds coming from? Another electrum wallet or from somewhere else, such as an online account?

Ok Gotcha.

Sorry for delay.  electrum Version is 3.3.7.  I downloaded it from Electrum.org and have been using for approx. 2 years, never had a problem before this.      Electrum is connected to a server:  electrum.emzy.de       Port: 50002

The receive address was entered correctly.  The origin wallet still lists the transaction as pending.  Funds have left the account but hasn't made it to the recieve address:  19SW7oLhgxCPgbvDTtdnSYH1HcoBbuQh75.
We already know that. But like we said, the address doesn’t have any pending or confirmed transaction. It is completely blank.

What we want to know is the address of ORIGIN. From which address the address is coming from? You tried sending from the address X to the address above. What is the address X? Where are you seeing this pending transaction? We need more details, like the transaction hash or at least the address of origin.

If you are using Electrum 3.3.7 you couldn't have downloaded it 2 years ago. Version 3.3.7 came out at the beginning of July. You might have installed your initial Electrum software 2 years ago but question is where did you download the 3.3.7 version from?
Using the software Electrum since 2 years ago. Not specifically the version 3.3.7.

You never answered the previous questions. Which Electrum version are you using and where exactly did you download it from?
If it's 3.3.3 and older you will not be able to sync your wallet to the servers. Make sure you don't click on any links advertising an update from inside your wallet. You should only do that manually from the official Electrum site.

So check the version and location where you downloaded from and let us know if you are connected to servers or not.

Whats the address to verify the addresses  generated from memnomic seed?

My funds are not in the wallet I sent them from.  The transaction still shows as pending, after 2 days.   The transaction destination address: 19SW7oLhgxCPgbvDTtdnSYH1HcoBbuQh75
which is the intended address.  My electrum wallet shows this address as unused.

This address is empty and there are no incoming transactions. Your funds never left your wallet and there is no transaction in the mempool to be confirmed.
From what address did you send the funds?

You said you had a wallet before. What is your public address of that wallet?

That's not possible. Can you share the transaction id with us? The destination address doesn't really help much. None of the blockexplorers we have tried showed an incoming transaction. From what wallet did you send the transaction?

It could be because the transaction from your sending address hasn't been confirmed yet due to low transactions fees used. It would have been easy if you look at the sending address through any bitcoin explorer to see if there is any out going unconfirmed transaction and let us know Wink

No outgoing confirmations.  Thanks for reply

Blockchain explorer shows no transactions at all for the destination address.   The memonic seed does not list the destination address either.

Só your funds are in the original Wallet, right?
Did you check your balance on a block explorer, of your other wallet ?(nnot the Electrum one, but the one you sent the funds from)

Blockchain explorer shows no transactions at all for the destination address.
Then your transaction has likely not been broadcast from the original wallet, as I doubt it would have been dropped from the mempool after 1 day.

The destination address is accurate and displays in my wallet as Unused..
And now you're saying the destination address is incorrect? Huh

What wallet did you send the transaction from?
What version of Electrum are you using?

If there is no transactions showing up in the explorer, then the address really never received the coins. It isn’t a problem with Electrum.

Either you didn’t send the transaction or you sent it to the wrong addresses. Maybe you can check again in the wallet you’re sending the coins from?

My wallet has not acknowledged a transaction was ever sent to it..  The destination address is accurate and displays in my wallet as Unused..
This is indicative of your wallet not being synchronised or that it is not connected to the network properly.

In the bottom right corner of the Electrum window, you will see a coloured circle, or some blue arrows... is the circle red or green or do you see blue arrows? If it is red, you're not connected to the network. If it is blue arrows, Electrum is trying to sync.

What version of Electrum do you have installed? Note that the latest version available is 3.3.8 (DO NOT use older versions and do not use any fake 4.0.0 versions).

Which version of Electrum are you using? Versions older than 3.3 don't work anymore, so your transactions wouldn't show up. If that's the case, update immediately on ELECTRUM.ORG (the ONLY legit website).

Greetings,

Maybe you can help me with this.

I sent some bitcoin from a wallet to my electrum wallet's recieve address a few hours ago.  The destination address (my wallet's receive address) shows as unused in my wallet.
The wallet of origin shows the transaction as pending to the destination address(19SW7oLhgxCPgbvDTtdnSYH1HcoBbuQh75).  My wallet has not acknowledged a transaction was ever sent to it..  The destination address is accurate and displays in my wallet as Unused..I'm lost but Im hoping my funds are not.   Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance
