Yes, it's about having a good patience in everything that we do and we should not give up easily. If in case we do, it's not yet too late to go back and try again. If only we knew that we won't get paid, we will never do it continuously but we don't have such ability. We still can do a research to eliminate an obvious crap project. That should increase our chances to get successful.

It honestly amazes me how someone makes so much money from airdrops. I know that if you get the right Airdrop it can even change your life. But I personally have never given an airdrop that gave me significant profits. I've seen people showing off profits from TIA, Manta, Strk and Jup in telegram groups but I wasn't told how they hit those jackpots. I agree with The Cryptovator that most airdrops are a waste of time because the tasks given are not commensurate with the rewards that will be obtained.

There should be no issue in participating in the Airdrops which does not require any charges so you can find a chance to earn bigger with the help of free airdrop. I think one should not miss any Airdrop that is free of cost because it just requires your work and your eligibility will describe your success.

In case of those Airdrops which ask for cash so most of them are worthy but before using your money check out about the details but according to my experience most of such Airdrops give us huge returns if we work accurately and are eligible for getting such airdrops.

I think for those who can not afford to buy too many coins, airdrops is the best next thing they can do just so they can still get some profits.

We need to be wise and take proper use of our funds nit to earn up losing big in the market. We are in crypto for us to make money from the market but for us to stupidly make decisions that will help us to lose more in the market. If we see airdrop trying to give you $6 of a token that is not yet launched, you need to observe and ask questions because its a scam.

Airdrop can be very funny at times, it actually pay well sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, I have witness someone who earned huge in airdrop after too many other airdrops he tried, he almost gave up because they have been saying they we launch it for sometimes and they didn't but my friend was patient enough to wait and monitor it and finally one day he received major. Patient is very important in everything we do but sometimes it's not necessary because it won't pay us to be patient. Like I said, I will not advice someone to do something but if you think it's good or you wish to do it no problem, different people with different grace.

its also to decentralize the capital which is distributing the token so that it increases holder if a coin has very few holder usually it will tank, nobody is buying it because it gets controlled by whales so they are doing this also marketing stunt at best but definitely a good thing for those airdrop hunters that eager to find some airdrop, the truth is, nowaday airdrop always require certain task to be finished unlike the old days where you just can claim or something like that nowaday they require staking money, unless you have big capital its more likely that you get peanut, the exception are with the ones very few project like etherfi where they give tiered rewards so that the small fries could get some share of cake and not too little at that but overall the strategy has shifted from social media promotion to just money staking.
I don't know what benefit the devs gonna get from urging people to stake money though but if they could get APY from certain staking platform, they probably can make good money from it.
because if we looking at most of project that requires staking they usually hits around hundred millions worth of dollar which is huge.

I don't really care about new projects and I don't care about the 3 things you said. I'm not really interested in new projects and I just came to participate in the airdrop in the hope of making money. in other words I don't need to do that deep of research, unless I'm coming to invest.
In essence if the airdrop is not profitable for them, of course they will cancel the airdrop.

I used to have that same mindset as yours a few years ago but all that has changed now. It has changed in the sense that I don't expect to get rewarded in each of all the ones I go into but I believe getting rewarded in just a few of them will cover for the ones not rewarded. Every airdrop hunter should have that mindset and take things with ease. However, the good news about airdrops this time around is that it's now a veritable source for projects to get many people on board their project and kickstart trading. You are correct about airdrops being 50 50 profits but that was then, during 2017/2018 just in the period of ICO, IEO, IDO were far more doing better and then airdrop is always an airdrops not now that they have been compromised for building up their communities, that is, when most project launches airdrop they gives all command that all airdrop participants must follow their x handle, facebook and join their telegram group / announcement group. Like this is more taskable to say and yet you would hardly see them distributing rewards to the participants, and every bad even to the extent where some projects owners could say they should send some few gas to receive their rewards at then, and i think i have join airdrops like that then if i could recall correctly.

True, besides they have their own beliefs they also have different interests, so the scope in crypto is large and people can get benefits in different ways in the world of crypto currency, some are trading, airdrops hunters, investing, staking, liquidity providers, selling NFTs and others like that, each individual has their own way of getting benefits so there is no need to debate and force someone to do what we know, unless the person is interested and wants to learn, of course we need to help that person.

I also include airdroper, there are several projects that I have participated in to get rewards and hopefully like what happened to, ARB, APTOS, SUI, JUP, DYM, Wormhol;e and others who give great rewards to those who follow them.

I know some people who were patient enough to wait for the coin get actual value and they do. Time is an essential element in crypto and you might not be in the same position in 10 years than you do now if just wait and let time go run.

And the money that's being distributed by it don't actually comes from the developers but from their partners including the exchanges. Yes, some people get into their attention while some ignore it because of their lack of confidence that they will make money from them. Indeed, deep research is very important in here but airdrops now is on the twist where participants must comply with a few tasks before they get something, unlike before when it was totally free drops, you just signed up and got yours. Well, A lot of people received free tokens but unfortunately, some of these tokens are worthless, not even listed in any exchanges. I got some many years ago but as usual, still $0 in value.

There are some from scammers so investing in airdrop is very much risky. And airdrop can be gotten from different ways. You can buy from the site at the early stage of the project or you can even have it in free by just making some referrals tasks. But the ones that you have with performing referral tasks are not normally legit because I have seen a friend of mine has done that to acquire some airdrops but there is no we're to sell them and they are just there for nothing.

In 2022 I met someone who was good in airdrop business as he said but I have not seen him having any changes till now. And exactly as Bushdark said, everyone has their own way.

There is not need for an argument, everyone have their own belief so we don't need to force anyone to do airdrop or not.
Their are so many airdrop I am participating on currently and I am waiting for the mainnet so that I can ewrn from the coins i have mined which is one of the ways to earn from the market. Airdrops are forms of doing little task and getting rewarded.

For me, doing an airdrop is just a waste of time. At the beginning of my crypto journey, I did some airdrops and got useless tokens. So I have gotten nothing from Airdrop; hence, I hate it. So for a long time I have been away from the airdrop system, so I still believe Aidrop is nothing except wasting time. I heard some people make money from airdrops in real life. I never asked where they made it since it was not interesting to me. However, even if you are involved with Airdrop, just make sure you aren't going to waste your time. 

Airdrop means to earn money for free but it is defunct now so no project will give you tokens for free. Most projects give tokens to investors as bonus tokens and a very small amount of money. On the other hand the few coins you mentioned are little from the huge field of airdrops. You will fall back to criticize the wrong world in crypto. Now most of the tokens in the market have gone up in price so imagine how much profit those who pocketed the good tokens a few days ago are now sharing.

Currently this season airdrop campaign is paying a lot of money which all the airdrop participants are getting. How some projects are being paid has changed the lives of many Airdrop participants by receiving funding. I worked on the airdrop campaign but never got paid but five to ten days ago I worked on a Mavia Protocol event on Bybit exchange which resulted in $230 worth of tokens from there. This payment was the biggest payment of my life. Since then, all the negative thoughts from my AirDop campaign have gone away. But currently I am working in some verified airdrop campaign hope to get some good payment from here in future.

What I see now as airdrops these days are simply a game of chance. The fact is that you can actually participate in say 40 Airdrops, for example, and get nothing. Well, you seem to be new and I may not know your overall experience trading crypto. But have it in your mind that newly listed coins are dangerous. If you use Binance well enough, you’d see them warn you about high volatility. It’s a good thing to know it’s been gain for you, but take heed and be cautious before you fall. 

      Actually, last year it cannot be denied that there are some coins that can be said if there were successful airdrops, and some of them are Arb, Aptos, and Zksync, and recently, in December last year, it was Jup, which can be said if it is a good so far performance that they are showing, and these are also the first time to participate in the bull run that is coming up.

     So it's likely that this will also be raised, in my opinion, because for sure it's impossible that the person who holds it won't make money this bull season. I'll at least accumulate those little by little as long as I have the chance.

You just don't have any idea how much patience people have when it comes to doing airdrops, I don't have any ide if they still exist nowadays but back in the early years of altcoins, there were some people who took the job of doing a hundred Airdrops along with bounties without any complain because the more you work the more you get a chance to get some payment and mostly that was the case before until the scammers joined the party and spoiled everything the real projects has work hard for because they took their investors and lose the people trust because of the scammers manipulation to join and create their own project with Airdrops as well.

You certainly do need to widen the scope of your search because I can categorically tell you that the list is long.
Airdroping to the community seem to be the latest trend with projects this days. Most tokenless projects are most likely going to tokenize at some point so most airdrop farmers are busy farming these projects regardless.
Mind you most of the project I mentioned are already late to farm, so you should really do some research before burning trx fees.

This is the airdrop and you may find so many good projects offering a good amount of airdrop to their each participant. Many people make their portfolio wealthy through farming airdrops and get good money in return. well in my case i have never got a big airdrop. but in our community, there is a member who is very active in farming airdrops and sharing airdrops with others as well so that others also can get a good amount of profits from these projects. he is a very nice member.

well, you also said very well that not all the projects offer a good amount at the end and some are just scamming projects they asked us to participate and with the help of their user they asked them to follow their social plugin share, like comments, repost their post in the form of tasks and with this they easily grow their plugin and at the end, they make some shitty criteria so that all the user can not be able to receive or enjoy their airdrop. That is a bad thing in my opinion.

Nowadays, traders experience losses more than their winnings due to the high volatility of the market. We can only become prosperous and confident only when we keep good track of the system. The profit depends on the type of airdrops so if you are a part of Airdrop that offers you reward then keep those token at the time of lower price you will see that during Bull season Airdrop gives you more better return than your expectations. Safety is the main thing because if we earn lots of money but our assets are not secure then there is a chance that scammer will easily attack our wallets.

There are also some scammers who just wants to accumulate money from you so some of them will try to reach to your tokens and other will engage you in scam Airdrop where you will use your money but will not find anything necessary. So always search before participating in any airdrop otherwise you will regret for your loss of cash.

nowadays airdrop is very critical, huge task to complete to get entry, it's boring to click every day to increase points, and of course you need to some fees to participate in those airdrops, even it's not guarantee to get your rewards because if others points is higher than you. so nowadays airdrops it's for all. actually airdrop era is ended to back in 2016-2017 when it was very easy just fill up a google form to take 3-4 minutes.

I may have missed the exchanges he mentioned cos I can't see any from this thread. WEN still has airdrop opportunity on Bitget but may not be as much as that of the main airdrop and if you currently hold WEN and want to earn more; consider joining their deposit campaign.

I never doubted the potential of airdrops but some time the task for test net and other airdrop related task can be demanding. Tbh they all worth it. Airdrop is currently working for free a means of earning a good amount monthly without any investment. The reason to make money from airdrops is because free people get paid more. According to the rules of airdrop projects filling the form on google and submitting some work. But now airdrops are very less successful most of the projects are scams. Be careful before joining the airdrops.

Just like you, I also believe its a 50-50 game. Airdrops are good sometimes, but at other times, they can be very unyielding. To add to your 3 considerations mentioned here, I also think the project or (affiliates of the project) giving out an airdrop also goes a long way in determining whether or not its a successful one. For instance, imagine a top project like coingecko thats got both a solid reputation and big-name affiliates in the industry giving out an airdrop. Such distribution is bound to be successful short-mid term whether or not it actually has real usecases in any ecosystem.

airdrop nowadays if i remember correctly even the ones that are in the bearish market aren't really relying on the market trend I remember clearly back then when bitcoin still floating around $20k there was OP airdrop, arbitrum, and many more.
overall nowadays airdrop are changing method but also not truly relying on the trend.
its quite different if you compare it with back then where quite literally some airdrops just relying on market trend and decide to hold off from releasing their airdrop if they don't see the circumstance to be fitted.

but i think its kinda easier tracking airdrop if you really want to put an effort just following some random telegram group sometime give sufficient information regarding airdrop. but just don't fall into the scam telegram channel where
they instead misled you into getting scammed by them though there are plenty.

I agree with you and that is also the problem with most Airdrops. Those disguised as fraudsters use airdrops to access your wallet and take your money. Some airdrops also trick you into buying and staking their coins but in the end they are just coins without fundamentals. I think this issue is what makes airdrops have a 50-50 rating.

If anyone was a part of a genuine airdrop when the market were in red and kept holding on to those tokens till the market went green they will make good profit. There is nothing to argue on that part. The problem is to find and track genuine airdrop. In the current market condition it will be hard to find one as there will be more scammers waiting to gain access to the wallet. Anyways it is always advisable to have two or three wallets only for airdrops.

Yeah, I think that is why some cex are also making their users participate in some events in this airdrops in other to encourage them and give those who don't have enough funds the opportunity to earn from those token airdrops

Airdrops nowadays are different compared to back in 2017, where you just had to fill up a google form and do simple tasks like following and retweeting on twitter. Nowadays, some airdrops are based on a point system where you need to complete tasks, often daily tasks. Some even require purchasing NFTs, staking, or other actions that necessitate funds to qualify for the airdrop. If we really want to earn from airdrops now, it requires a lot of diligence and investment. Ultimately, the decision to participate in these airdrops is up to us.

It can be said to be beneficial if the project that organizes the airdrop event provides benefits for the participants who take part in it, in other words they work according to the rules that are applied and then get paid which makes the party proud and vice versa if they get paid but have no value then the airdrops from the project is not useful because it's just a waste of time

I know that they're shit exchanges and from my research I prefer using only Bitget and Binance due to their quality in all circumstances(Security, POR, Users Protection Funds and so on..) Sure thing. I'm not forcing the ideology on anyone, we're here to learn and I believe that's what this platform was made for. Who knows the number of persons who got discourage because they thought all airdrops are scam and nothing good comes out from it.

Did you know that just as we have shit tokens, we equally have shit exchanges? Just because a project gets listed on an exchange doesn’t mean it will scale up. Sometimes they go for really easy exchanges that aren’t picky. Even picky exchanges like binance delists certain projects eventually. But if you have the patience as you mention in your third point, then you should try anyways since we know it doesn’t cost money and is supposedly free.

You are right. It has become a trend to distribute free tokens, which gives a project credibility and trust from investors. Most of the big projects nowadays give airdrop which helps them not only bring in more investors but also build a community that will continue to support the project for the long run. This is also a marketing strategy taken by the project because it works better than a paid marketing campaign. Usually an airdrop announcement is shared by hundreds of different groups and kols all over social media.

I think airdrops are also a way for the team to attract more investors. Some people tend to associate legitimacy to those projects who give off if benefits for free. However some you might find that the airdrops they are willing to give are so huge so we still must stay alert at all times. Airdrops are a good source of money but don’t be too blinded that you don’t see carlos anymore.

Patience is truly needed on this because not all airdrops are able to make money and so as the airdroppers. If you think that most of them are welcoming and profitable that's because we're on the season of bull run and that shall make most of the projects have higher chance of being successful. Otherwise, check them out on the bear market and they're not going to give you any reward or they will give you rewards but the value of them are close to nothing.

The airdrop work is quite extensive. Nowadays, as far as I know, there are many ways in which the project reaches out to the community. From social, testnet, mainet,... all bring airdrop opportunities.

But it must be expressed that this environment is full of pitfalls, some people will receive joy and some will not be able to receive anything. Even as users' skills are increasing, fraud is difficult to detect, making competition more intense. Is not like I don't know that people make money from airdrops I'm just making points for them that there are people out there who make money out of this still. Is good that you have verified this and given instances on other projects that will be launching their airdrop. I don't even know about this.

And here is my contribution, neither you nor those you argue with have any idea what or how much money people are making from airdrop and the heavy amount of liquidity going into farming airdrop.
The few coins you have mentioned are just a little from the huge fields of airdrops.
Go do proper research on how sophisticated airdrop farming has become.

Most big projects don't bother sourcing for funds the old fashion way, all they need to do is drop their airdrop info and watch the community go crazy farming and burning trx fees for a piece of the pie.
Soon wormhole, zksync, LayerZero, Polyhedra, linea, Scroll, base and more will be dropping airdrop info one after the other and many of you will still be in doubt.

There was a heavy argument among us during this thread, and to be honest, we learned from each other. The essence of the discussion was about whether Airdrops are beneficial or not; some argued it is, while some said it's not. Well, from my findings, I'd say it's a 50-50 game.

Why did I say so? It's because I tracked those who engaged in different airdrops earlier this year and last year's ending, and I noticed that most of them really made good gains. Two days ago, in the WhatsApp group I joined, some individuals were flaunting how much they have made from their WEN airdrop. They held it until this bullish day.

I also mentioned that airdrops that have the opportunity to be listed on exchanges have every tendency of appreciating in price. Take a look at STRK, PORTAL, and this WEN. You can research this as well to see for yourself the point I'm trying to make.

so if you check, you did see that these airdrops do give people money. What you've to consider is;
 1. The Chain they're been developed on,
 2. What Impact can it give and are cex putting interest in it?
 3. most importantly patience. Patience is the Ultimate you need to have in this Crypto Ecosystem in general
