350 km with one battery charge for 30.000€ gg

217 miles per charge, LOL what a joke!

The car defiantly looks cool but Musk is scammer with with his SpaceX fraud etc and people are eventually going to get burned on these cool cars that don't go very far.

Personally I'd wait for the E-Porsche:

He's not a scammer because of SpaceX, he's a piece of shit because his business model is theft. The only reason his various businesses exist is because of subsidies, take Tesla for example, he sells his cars below production cost.

Most daily commutes are less than 50km.  People can have a second gas guzzling car for the weekends or the rare trip.

Musk uses Tesla's name but can't engineer an electrical power source to drive his car farther than a few blocks before it's kaput. I'm willing to bet this guy can't engineer shit and uses 100% off-the-shelf technology throughout the entire car.

^

It is only a concept car though and will probaly take atleast 5-10 years or something until mass production.

But the Tesla is a pre-order and sometimes companies have "problems", customers could end up experiencing delays. Take the last pre-order I made for example, it's been delayed for two and a half years now. Could be 2020 before customers receive a practically worthless obsolete car if they receive a car at all before Musk decides to embezzle the money.

how long until it gets half that ? batteries get worn out fast..

Good question. But i guess they would atleast hold for several years because of warranty issues?

Agreed that is nuts..

It also shows middle finger to the closed little Monopoly the big auto manufacturers have.
I remember when on the News there was ongoing drama about the US govt
cracking down on Musk about having a show room for his cars / dealership.
I think they would not let him have one etc.

I dunno bout that guy but at least someone is TRYING to move in a positive direction.
Although the current means of generating electricity is just passing the buck..
It's not really "Green" when the means to get Electricity still uses fossil fuels etc.
This TV shows sums up that point well..
Human Universe - S01E05 - What Is Our Future
Half way through the Scientist guy pulls up in a Tesla and goes on about it all. (where he says what i did but better)
And he also pointed out how although we have had some benefits of
over expansion of our population such as a longer life span and the effects etc

Watch that series guys it is well made and through out brings up some good perspectives.
I downloaded it from File Sharing Torrent sites myself Wink

Your country may be your worst enemy
I'm hugely impressed with this. I guess I'm an old cartesian guy, but I can't imagine buying a car without test-driving it first, but we've seen today more than 200,000 people ordering a car without having seen it. All there is to see is a small youtube vid, the equipment of the car is unknown, just like all its specifications. Frankly, you'd have to be crazy to buy a car with those conditions, but 200,000 people just did.

I don't understand, but it's fantastic for Tesla.
