i voted 50-50 because i believe that personality shapes by both environmental impacts and heredity.. if you live in a happy and awell-behaved society , you must have very good personality but if you live in a society which is full of criminals, you must have criminal mind too.. so heredity and society affect your personality.

Our biggest influence, in terms of how we act are genetics. We get angry, frustrated, angry when hungry, etc. But since all humans are basically the same, those traits are going to be similar. So the only traits that will really stand out are those affected by society.

50%-50%
those things affect human lifes. the nature of human being and how the society affect cannot be separated. they are connected each other.

for example, you are born in your family, and then you go to school, live with the society, so your attitude will be affected by them all.

Neither has any effect on human life. Intelligent life, cripple life, rich life, black life, white life, social life, strong life etc are all just life. There is life and there is no life, anything that is alive belongs to life. There is no such thing as "quality of life" whether it be in the context of nurture or nature. People arbitrarily attribute hues to their existences.

It's 50/50 for me. A person may be born with the same traits as his/her parents but the surrounding may affect how a person will grow.  Such in a situation where a childs personality differs when he is at home and when hebis aroud school with his circle of friends.

We are all products of inheritance, upbringing and societal norms.

An Arab woman would feel very naked wearing a tube gown, t-shirt on leggings etc.

Are they not the same thing? Society is nature, all of which are organisms.

This is basically the nature vs nurture argument. Good to know how to put it in some sort of economic scheme. These 2 come in hand, nurture and nature. But society and heredity is not the same thing. Heredity is within the unit of the society. And the society can not be associated with heredity alone. Just some thoughts.

Surely we'll still be having this argument when we're all uploaded to the cloud and have left our Earthly bodies behind. I've known proper wrong uns who've had saintly upbringings and people who've grown up in lakes of shit who are immaculate. Dunno.

I chose 50/50, because most people have to adjust to live in their current culture. For example today I was walking home, and I just so wanted to run. But as an adult here in the US, I would look crazy. But for a kid who is still a bit free from societal norms, he would feel free to run. He would do what feels right. Both from the same location.
