I think it's time to rename those ranks to something derogatory reflecting time wasted on this forum, because that's what it really is.

Creep
Shit stirrer
Attention whore

I'm sure the creative minds here could come up with something appropriate and totally non-trust-inspiring.
That's actually not a bad idea, and I'm sure many other names could be suggested.  Wasn't having ranks above legendary suggested?  I'm not sure if it was taken seriously or not, but there is definitely room for something kooky at the higher levels.  With sarcasm aplenty.  We all know bitcointalk has a great collective sense of humor.   Tongue

Unbelievable.   Wait, it's totally believable.  Seen this magic trick pulled dozens of times.  The key to this not happening over and over again is not to send first.  Use escrow and if it's a loan, get collateral.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure...

Interesting how you didn't care about messages you were receiving from the forum, which you obviously have spent quite alot of time on (being a hero member and all). Why didn't you listen?

Prove you are the original owner (This doesn't prove that you were actually hacked, we can't 100% prove that) by signing a message on a previous post on MatTheCt, and maybe KWH might remove the neg. MAYBE.

Kraken emptied my account (and many others), as part of their policy of recouping hack thefts, by selectively stealing from their own customers and then blaming their customers for not using the fullest degree of security that Kraken offers....and then 2 weeks later, I get a 36% haircut on Bitfinex, despite not having anything stolen from me.

Since then, I have moved more or less everything out of Bitcoin and my interest in trading has practically vanished...

I just aint paying that much attention to Bitcoin, or this forum at the moment....hence, all these fkd up PMs landing in my Email inbox....just looked like spam...never even read them.

I'm a newbie and even I know not to leave money on exchanges. I get why you would have left but really you should be annoyed at yourself. Did you sign a message to prove you're the original account owner yet?

No way, Jose. It probably isn't even worth the effort (although it would be a good thing to know we're dealing with the original owner) to do so since, like you said, it proves absolutely nothing with regards to being hacked, and KWH wouldn't remove his feedback with such a pointless piece of "evidence".

So what, leave the account for deads?

I'm certain there is no way to 100% prove that the account was hacked, without access to IP logs (Which mind you are still not 100%) from Theymos.

Apologies to anyone who has been scammed....

I really should have taken more notice off these PMs when they landed in my Email inbox. I skim read a couple and it just seemed like a bunch of boons asking to send them money for some strange reason. I paid these PMs as much attention as I would a Nigerian Prince with millions of dollars needing transferred around the world, etc etc.....

Really should have been a bit sharper about this, might have saved some people some aggravation........(but, then, I had probs lost control of the account by that point anyhow)

Ok...I am 'MatTheCat'.

Clearly my account on this place has been compromised.....I know nothing about any of the above.

I did notice a lot of what I considered 'spam' PMs coming into my Email inbox, and just ignored them: Here they are:

It seems that his account is not hacked, that's why he fighted back. And when he scammed you, he did not change the email, so he pretendec to be hacked. Maybe he is broke now so he has to scam for money to buy cigarette.

Actually it says on the first screenshot that e-mail address has been changed. And the posting style changed significantly too.

Having said that, it's impossible to prove it conclusively one way or another.

I don't think bro but I think he just wants to scam me at first, also you can see that he blocked me after hours and he changed his password to say that his account is hacked.
I just saw the Block you from sending messages part, well now it seems fishy.I've left him a negative feedback and hoping a DT member will leave one soon.Too bad for him to lose his hero account ,the original owner would come back later and possibly claim it.
