welcome to forum...

if you are from china try to get avalon miner od avalon chips made by TSCM

I'm from Holland, but living in Beijing for like 2 years already now Smiley

Saw on taobao that they are also selling miners for 4 BTC or 2500 kuai 5GH/z, but seems the ROI is worse? I'm thinking about buying this one:

I heard 车库咖啡  (Garage Cafe) in Beijing is also accepting bitcoins Cheesy
Welcome samos123,
yep there is a lot of great group buys out there, they tend to be location based for conveinence.
I didn't know there were Cryptography courses, would be interested to hear how that goes, there is tons of information in this forum Smiley

It's pretty hard... have to pause the video the whole time and lookup all the math and replay them lol. But I'm starting to get it. Just learned history of Cryptography with caesor cipher till engima machine and basics such as one time pad, PRGs.

Thanks for all the warm welcome.

Just joined, was looking into mining myself and buying an ASIC miner from asicme, but then read about group buys. Probably gonna go with that.

I'm a Software Engineer working for a small Chinese cloud computing startup in Beijing Smiley (Currently mostly doing Openstack)
Also taking the Cryptography course at Coursera in the hope that I will be able to understand bitcoin better one day.
