I come every day on bitcointalk for a month and I've learned a lot but never get registered to it, so here I am, a lil' french joins your community.

Here are some pics of my rig that I've built 3 weeks ago : 8x7950, 2x280x.
Actually mining EarthCoin at ~6,8Mh/s.

Long life to crypto  Cool, cheers.

Hi

This is my first post ever at Bitcointalk.org.

I just wanted to say that i also have started altcoin mining a few weeks ago
and im looking forward to make enough money, so that i can pay my bills and have
it as a main income for me.

The rig pictures posted by mazar looks so nice!
I have mounted 4 motherboards in a shelf and connected
up 12 of the 14 R9270x for altcoin mining.
Im waiting for more risers from china for the rest of the cards to be mounted.

I also got 3 old 7770 which will be mounted on spare PCI-E slots to fill out the
gaps when all the 14 R9270x are up and running.

My calculations says around 7180 kh/s for the lot, which is not much in itself.
So im planning to replace one by one 270x with a 290(not x model because of price/khash ratio).
Each 290 gives around 880 khash and cost alot less than 290x which gives around 990 khash.

The plan is to reach atleast 14000 khash in the first step up and take it from there.

Ill provide some pics at a later date when every 14 cards and 7770s are up and running.

Did you build the rack?

Yep, homemade, actually I'm bad with my hands lol, my friend did a great job and the material costed me 60€ but he paid too, that's a good friend  Grin.

What motherboards and CPUs are you using? Im going to buy a new rig soon and could use some help

I'm using ASRock 970 Extreme4 as motherboard and AMD Sempron 145 as CPU, like a lot of people I guess. Found that in this nice guide http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/04/build-a-litecoin-mining-rig-hardware/.
Do not hesitate if you have some questions mate.

I'd like a photo of a rig to be the default image of Bitcoin rather than metallic coins.

Well you need a nice symbol to promote the currency, otherwise it would still be a nerd thing lol, but a rig is nice to see I agree  Wink.

Hey thanks guys  Smiley

Fuck those are nice  Cool Did you know what to do beforehand or did you follow a guide?

I did know few things but I've followed two main guides and did a lot of searches on Internet that helped me to improve my rig.

what is the average temperature of 280x?

280x's temperature is nice compared to 7950's, it's between 59° and 61° for 720+KH/s
