Ok I'll do that in the morning but does anyone know if I should stop mining for now?  I don't want my earnings to go to waste if they aren't being recorded while the site is down.  And I sure as heck don't want my coins going to the jerk who took down the site.

There is probably no risk of whoever took the site down getting the pool's coins but I don't think anyone can tell you if mining will be counted other than the pool operator.

You should look into P2Pool mining. There are no servers to go down.

Hi guys, I'm brand new to bitcoin, just finally researched what it was about the other day after a guy in Microcenter mentioned it to me.  Problem now is that the site is down from what Slush says could be an internal attack.  So since the site is down should I stop mining for the time being?  I'm using GUI miner and am just choosing "SLUSH" as my server before letting my xfire 6850's loose.  Grin
