AMD BC-160 has over 70mh on ETC or around 130 - 140mh on ergo for $89 used, or 6700xt nitros for $150 if you want to use AMD cards.

I wouldn´t buy 5700xt anymore, yes the price for used cards is around $100 but it is to old. the same with the bc-160 card (5700 with hbm2 memory), nice card with nice hashrates, but you get more power efficient cards if you want.

The 3060m or 3070m cards are the way to go, damn cheap, power efficient like the normal 3060 cards and you can get really big amount of this cards

Nicehash is not the best option -> they do too much shit in the past and i wouldn´t support an 51% attack service.

You can use zergpool (lowest fees), miningdutch, magicpool..... and so on for mining altcoins direct into BTC
The 6700xt I would buy for $150 gaming. This is an excellent price. 3060m or 3070m are home-made video cards, when a video chip from a laptop is soldered to a video card textolite board through an adapter? There are no guarantees for such video cards and it is difficult to sell them later.

Hello

I'm thinking between video cards for mining.
if there are any recommendations for an AMD card at reasonable prices in relation the mining profit
Or it's better to wait for the prices to drop.

good luck everyone.

for the price rx 6700xt was the sweet spot in some country, for the very moment there is no profitable mineable coin out there,
just buy the used gpus and gain your knowledge this is the best time, and try buy some sha256 asic to for mixing your rigs, dont focus only in gpus
asic still doable even at 0.1$ electric price, good luck may the force be with you
It is a bad idea to buy before the halving not a new and modern ASIC for bitcoin with an electricity price of 10 cents per kilowatt. It is not difficult to learn how to set up ASICs, any novice miner without experience can do this, but miners usually do not have such a power consumption limit, and all efforts due to 1 ASIC are in vain.

Basically there was a coin called Ethereum which was very profitable for about 6 years. However last year it disabled mining by video cards and just doesn’t transactions by proof of stake. So most video cards basically lost out on tons and tons of profit.

Hence why for years you might of heard about people mining with their video cards but unfortunately that time is over and there is no decent coin out there with good profitability.

Mining Bitcoin is also difficult because the equipment is expensive and most farms have cheap power compared to households.
Ethereum mining lasted more than 6 years and many miners are grateful that they did not remain unemployed for so long.
According to various opinions, more than 80% of all video cards were used in Ethereum mining, and the change in the algorithm deprived many miners of profit.

That is a fact,a hard one but you know what is worse, the fact that in late 2020 and during all 2021 all kind of creepy guys were just buying a mining rig and jumping on board not believing at all in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general but rather making that quick buck and moving away,I know that these type of guys exist in every other business except mining, however they gave miners a really bad reputation and 80% of cards out of service, the most part of them is from these guys who were thinking only about quick profit so they got what they deserved.

The real miners those who have been mining since early 2016 and up until now no matter if there is a coin as profitable as Ethereum was for 7 years those guys are online mining even at a loss and these are the real ones.Happy to be one of them.I know we are in a difficult moment yet I am confident things will change for the better and is better to even mine at a loss and be well prepared for the next bull run,I know the guys who were in for the quick profit are out for good now and we have again a clear ecosystem.
I started studying mining earlier in 2014, then there were interesting coins and at the end of the year, miners switched to mining ethereum. The local pool was the dwarfpool, which miners called "dwarf". Detailed instructions were on the pools to lure new miners to the pool. But a lot of people from these miners left for other business after making good money.

From the Radeon cards in AMD the most efficient is still the Rx 5700 xt at 115 watt 55 Mhsh if I recall it correctly.Mining is not profitable but you can use Nicehash or any mining pool that pays out in Bitcoin like 2miners,you can do so only if you believe in the long term profit of Bitcoin price.I personally believe a lot in the Bitcoin price and I have kept a home miner with just 2 cards running at my home, despite now making only little money I strongly believe that after two years where most of us expect the next all time high price this amount that I will make will give me a considerable amount. The temperatures are high as I keep them in my living room where we have also the kitchen near and outside temperature is 37 degree Celsius, air conditioner is on but that is the min temperature.

These temperatures high for me.it will be more healthier if you can drop.

I know yet,I am risking it in this summer with those temperatures,I have this mining rig behind my sofa so there is no much room for better cooling,I have a small daughter who I don't want to go and touch the mining rig so I am risking it.I know these temperatures are high and I turn the Nicehash miner on and off from my Anydesk or Rustdesk application,so when there has been one hour at these temperatures I immediately leave it non running for one hour so in this way I am kinda reducing the risk as the miner only keep running without interruption during night which 70 degree is the max temperature, during day I turn it on and off, can't do anything more than this.

If he believes that the price of bitcoin will be high again, then he better buy bitcoin Smiley
He's new, and if he buys used video cards, he'll probably get scammed. The Rx 5700 xt models have overheating issues and experience is needed to make this purchase.

I have another website

https://minerstat.com/hardware/gpus
https://www.nicehash.com/mining-hardware
https://whattomine.com/gpus

Do your own research first but nowadays gpu mining take more than 1000 days to breakeven, and ASIC is expensive tho if you hold the coin maybe you will gain more when altseason come

Hello

I'm thinking between video cards for mining.
if there are any recommendations for an AMD card at reasonable prices in relation the mining profit
Or it's better to wait for the prices to drop.

good luck everyone.

Look at the profit in the calculator
https://www.hashrate.no/gpus
Buying any video card is now unprofitable.
If you have expensive electricity, then mining is also unprofitable. Nvidia video cards have a better payback and these video cards are easier to sell to gamers later.
