Nice to see you in this forum OP, I believe your friend brief you about the rules and regulations in this forum because any resourceful material we will provide for you to learn and improve without you know the rules and regulations are wasteful because, if you disobey any rules in any discussion section, you will be serve the punishment immediately.
Even if the person that introduced the OP to the forum tells him about the forum rules and regulations, am sure after the OP joins the forum, the best thing to do is go through the forum rules again, the OP’s friend might have missed some useful things which the op is suppose to know. The forum is a easy and friendly place, but their is a rules guiding the place, and if you go against the rules, you are going to be punished irrespective of your rank or maybe you are a new member or old member, if their is no strict rules guiding the forum, then the forum might not really be functional any longer.

If you can abide by the rules and regulations of the forum, then forum is place where you can acquire more knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, you can navigate through the forum to read the existing threads about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and if there is anything you don’t understand, you can easily ask questions, and forum members here will definitely respond to you.

Op you are welcome to this Bitcoin forum, there is no better way in learning here than reading and asking questions, so if you are to get the knowledge those should be the task that you do, first read, and ask questions when you come across any difficulty along the line of reading. However this forum is a resourceful place, and I recommend that you take advise very serious as they will aid your growth easily. You must also take forum rules very serious as that could lead to the destruction of your account and even cease the privilege of creating new one, if your IP is marked as having an evil.

Some would say "If you have a friend like that, you don't need an enemy".

A "friend" told you that there is a forum where you can earn Bitcoin just by writing messages, but he didn't bother to at least explain some basics. So many sticky topics that literally sting your eyes, and you are looking for "guidelines and resourceful materials" is definitely not something that promises that you can contribute to the forum in any way.

However, if you prove otherwise, I will gladly accept that I was wrong Wink

Welcome. Resourceful materials, as you put it, abound in this section. Don’t be lazy to show yourself as an adult and independent person, showing ingenuity to learn all the topics that interest you. Rule number one: read and read; don’t be shy to ask, but don’t worry about criticism or slow growth of your account (you’ll find out a little later that this is often a drag on newbies).
Take a look through the beginners section, and you will see a ton of advice that you are looking for today.

Check this URL to learn more about bitcoin https://learnmeabitcoin.com/
In the process of reading this I cam across this part in the wallet section:
"So in summary, a wallet does three main things:

Manages the addresses required for receiving bitcoins.
Manages the corresponding private keys for sending bitcoins.
Creates transactions and sends them in to the network."
What is managing in this concept? Does the wallet providers have access to the private keys and does it vary from wallet to wallet?

The only guidelines I can say is that don't post because you want people to notice your presence, but read the threads on this board, and use the search engine to look for whatever you want to know, because I believe that most questions that newbies ask, have already been asked in the past, so that you can get your answers from that thread.

I know it is hard to use the search engine as a newbie, but learn it and it will help you a lot here in the forum. The knowledge and information that you share here will make users notice you or not. Read more for now, amd Do Your Own Research.

As you have arrived on the forum, you will discover that the first board you saw was the Bitcoin discussion board, which is the section where you will find helpful content about Bitcoin. Although every board on this forum has very relevant information too, most are about Bitcoin. All the boards and child boards on this forum are very relevant, but to avoid spamming and shitposting, only make comments on topics that you have properly read and have a quality contribution to make on those boards. If you don't have a relevant reply to a topic, it's better that you just read and learn. @PX-Z has already pointed you to the forum rules and guidelines; if you play according to the rules, you will not have any issues here.

Welcome to the forum. First thing you should do is to get acquainted with the forum rules. Read the pinned threads in the Beginners & Help board, they will help you to understand the basics of the forum. There are lots of resourceful materials on Bitcoin that are available on the forum, they are easy to find btw. You only need to use the forum search engine or you can search manually using this format on google:
Code:
Who is Satoshi bitcointalk.org
This Google query will give you all or most recent topics on the forum concerning Satoshi. You can do this for any question you may have about bitcoin or forum related matters.

Try as much as you can to read all the sticky posts and internalize the rules and regulations of this forum so you don't become a victim of that. Ignorance of a crime isn't an excuse. Familiarize yourself with the various sections you're likely to be posting in. Above all, don't ever plagiarise anyone's content. Give credit to those whose works you use.

I would recommend you to read as many topics in Bitcoin discussion board as possible and also try to read some topics in speculation board.

Other than that I would recommend you to read topics in Meta board if you want to learn more about the forum, and finally I recommend you to be present on Beginners & Help board to learn basics about Bitcoin.
