Well yes. That is a way to judge the potential of a project.
According to the famous entrepreneur Elon Musk, spending billions on advertisement is not better than spending it on the project to advance it and upgrade it.

Bitcoin when in its initial stages had been in great demand because people know that it had great potential and did not miss the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin which eventually paid off. So yes there could be hidden gems in crypto but do not rely fully on projects that rely on advertisement.

That's why they call it as hidden gem because it's new and not popular yet, and we will only find out if it's real if we will see it trading
with a good price and a good volume. Well for me, I guess I will not consider this as a hidden gem, it's hard to risk this time when the market is not as bullish as we are expecting, I'd rather invest on popular coins in the market that has good volume and bad price, they could be undervalued.

Exactly, even though bitcoin price is relatively stable, I still wouldn't take a risk because of the market conditions. And just FYI, Binance also launched its own launchpad so this is not that first time that we are going to see such project.

I rather stay out with this so called hidden gems. might not be a good choice at his point.

That's why they call it as hidden gem because it's new and not popular yet, and we will only find out if it's real if we will see it trading

first of all, it is necessary to take the understanding that in some states of the United States of America they already consider legal cryptocurrency as digital securities. On the basis of but we are confident in the full-scale legalization of cryptocurrency throughout the world. But this suggests that the state will want to receive real income from taxation of users of cryptocurrency. K we can accept this or not?

If you go to idax.pro you can see like plenty of new coins there, they do not really hold back on getting new coins, it is quite easy to get listed there and if you pay them a bit of money (very cheap) you can just get listed there, many of those small coins have like 10 bitcoin or so volume so they are really not that much loved and hell even half of that is by the owners of the coins as well just trying to keep the interest up. That is why I love it, if a coins is there and is looking worthless that is my hidden gem.

You know why ? Because, when bitcoin goes up and bull run starts and lets say bitcoin becomes 20 thousand dollars again than you will see all these coins going up like crazy, like at least x10 increase in all of them, that is why I like to buy a lot of those coins.

They really research it thoroughly, because once they will lunch an ICO on their side, it can big effect if something bad happens on some ICO that they conducted. I don't generalize all the project that listed up there or using paid promote won't succeed, It is indeed though if we use a broader perspective we should able to look for a definitely a unique and innovative idea, But what's the chance that scenario could happen. The reason is that the scammer gets a profit from those tedious and useless jobs, and the crowd are deceived over and over without able to cope up with the situation.

Perhaps we should change our attitude to the cryptocurrency uni and to a certain project and then it will really be possible to look at certain coins as gems. Of course, the difference is very significant, but still the project can be so valuable in itself that without any manipulation its cost will be convincingly like that of a precious stone.

Looks like this exchange offerings are becoming a thing now.
Binance was the pioneer with its launchpad innovation that has quite had a couple of successful projects launched off and what I see now is other exchanges trying to follow the trend.

In the beginning it always looks so good until the whole thing gets diluted later with scam projects and exchanges. Hopefully it doesn't get to that this time round.

I've used kucoin a few times and never had any problems with trading on their exchange. Another small exchange that I have used is coinexchange.io , they have great customer service and a good selection of coins with decent trading volume.

It's not really a ground breaking innovation. They just follow what Binance and others major exchange does, launching their own ICO rip-off in order to boost their native token price. Unless they make a deal with great project, the pump won't last that long.

Kcs? is it on 1usd yet? the last time i checked it, its not even 0.5 dollars, how i wish it goes back into 20usd and with that im sure kucoin will be the top exchange, i mean they are pretty well underrated, they're good in picking projects tho and they have never been hacked, this spotlight needs to move and put kucoin on the SPOTLIGHT (literally) lol

They are full of surprises. This spotlights not really that big, its just what we call initial exchange offering, dont know if you heard about it but its like an ICO that instead of a the developer as the counter-party, the exchange itself will be the one handling it.
