Announcing MyEtherWallet v3.24.00: Difficulty Bomb&Updating blockchain

Due to the complexity of the Bomb and the increased risk of hacking, we pushed a rather drastic update that implements a number of changes and improvements, including enhancement of efficiency and scalability of the blockchain, acceleration of transaction speed, and additional security in the form new formats private keys which will help protect users against hacking.
If you are using private key or UTC, then you need to go into the wallet and update manually, otherwise they risk being unprotected.

How do i update my Ethereum wallet?

1. Go to our website MyEtherWallet.com
2. Unlock your wallet using your Keystore File (UTC / JSON) or simply use your private key.
3. Click Unlock and wait for the update.

Please note that you need to manually update your wallet, failure to do so may result in funds being lost.

We are taking these measures to protect both you and our network from phishing and malicious attacks.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
MyEtherWallet Security Team.

If you use other methods, then ignore this message.

I don't know why you're asking for retailers of something that is avaible for free? Just google hidden wiki in some tor search engine and look there.

I did mention that I was not looking to purchase drugs and I did add that I was looking for an ebay alternative that took bitcoin and smaller/no fees.

Thanks for your help guys.

I don't use reddit but had a look at they have reviewed some of the retailers that I was looking at.

I was hoping that there would something like that here (being a bitcoin forum and all). Nevertheless, appreciate your pointers.
Well, we aren't sure if you've been talking about illegal marketplaces or about what. But it seems that you've found what you needed.

With regards to the numerous retailers listed on the hidden wiki page:

Is there a glossary or a way of finding out which retailers/vendors can be trusted to provide the services/products that they advertise?

Has another site come about to replace the Silk Road? OpenBazaar isn't currently ready. I'm not looking to purchase drugs but somewhere with a feedback system would be ideal.

The hidden wikis around are full of scam sites that will only eat your bitcoins.

There are many sites identical to the SR one, but with other addresses. You will never know if the trust you see is legit or made by pishing people
You can check it in reddit sections? As far as i know, most of these market have their own section with real links.

I'm not asking for a place to purchase drugs - just a place to spend bitcoin with a similar set up to ebay (but without the fees).

Asking this sort of question is like asking the FBI to raid you.
