The opportunities wey dey for crypto dey plenty well, I believe say focus dey much on mostly buying and keeping which nor dey bad, but most newbies nor cun dey interested to really explore the other areas and aspects that we can profit from cryptocurrency.

People wey no dey like diversify na them they for this category wella. Them dey always dey talk about one thing about cryptocurrency which dey make am very hard to know other aspects. If you want to explore and diversify in this crypto space, it is the best thing to do to become rich through crypto or make lots of money.

in terms of popularity, crypto trading is the most popular in Nigeria and the simple reason is because of the fast returns hat is associated with it. if i am to arrange the order of popularity of crypto in Nigeria, it will take the form of;
1. crypto trading
2. crypto mining (airdrops)
3. and then crypto investment.

the rest is just popular among fewer persons that are really in the technology space and are knowledgeable enough to engage in a combination of the options or even look out for side hustles that still requires the basic knowledge of crypto. the long term nature of crypto investment is one of the reason why most persons are not all that interested in it even if they have basic knowledge about it.

You nor too miss anything there, except if we wan add Testnets. Even Testnets sef na part of airdrop. You try for ur list.

Well, for me I think na "Investing, airdrop hunting (tap tap, Testnets, simple daily claim, waitlist), Trading and then Staking be dey popular for Naija in dat order. In fact, na airdrop sef catch many people pass last year as dem witnessed wetin Notcoin and Telegram Durov do. Na so many people wey never even hear of cryptos before jumped in. Nobody wey nor like free money. Whether dem see d money or not, go be discussion for anoda day because wetin me dey see now for telegram airdrop nor be like wetin anybody go dey enjoy sha.

Mining bitcoin no dey profitable for Nigeria for reasons wey all of us know, as for mining altcoins, plenty of them no make sense, so i no fit even include mining shitcoins in stuffs wey Nigerians dey like do. Airdrop hunting na also waste of time, i know some of my friends wey dey chase airdrops for a long time now, dem dey always dey disappointed.

Na investing and trading wey make sense and na wetin most Nigerians dey do, some of us also dey for crypto forums like this one and we dey also use our knowledge of crypto dey communicate and earn incentive through signature campaign. That said, trading dey very risky and investing in shitcoins dey very risky too.

The only investing and trading be better thing to do when it comes to crypto now in Nigeria, the remaining ones be like stressing yourself, although some people still dey do am because E dey favor them and they are seeing something from it but my advice for anybody na to just go learn trading or you buy bitcoin and hold, some people like all this mining Bitcoin and airdrop stuff but for me I don't take it serious as other like bitcoin trade, Airdrop is also good but don't go close to any Telegram airdrops.

Airdrop and mining dey disappoint and E go better if person no too waste time for waiting go later disappoint, as a newbie if you have the money or you are capable of buying Bitcoin it is very good to just learn how to buy bitcoin and hold, buy and hold Bitcoin is the best investment that you can do and still have rest of mind if you secure your wallet very well.
The reality in my country is that boys may not be able to invest extra money to earn money, so they try to earn even a small amount through airdrops or trading. I would recommend that they distance themselves from these ideas and choose a means of long-term income, such as through Bitcoin deposit. They should protect their capital by withdrawing themselves from risky means like trading. They should choose a means of long-term and sustainable income and invest a part of that income in Bitcoin. Bitcoin should not be considered as the only means of earning money. It is a valuable asset for a long-term investment and will positively affect your future.

Even the op don hear of any Nigerian wey come out talk say him the mine bitcoin or any other better altcoin cos me I never hear am before, and nah why I so think say mining no suppose fine place in that list of means we dey use making money online for we country not especially popular means.

I no see any other popular measures than buying and hold, and trading wey guys they mostly into with cryptocurrency cos most persons has always perceived staking and others less profitable and time wasting when compared to the first aforementioned two above.

I will rank airdrops as the #1 onboarding tool and opportunity for new people in crypto while investing as the second. Following with trading and probably doing jobs to earn crypto. That said, here's my list:

Airdrop > investing > Web3 jobs/opportunities > trading > staking.

Most new altcoins don't have any mining and mining bitcoin isn't profitable anymore and even Ethereum is a POS coin now.

Omo.. I must confess I'm really loving the conversations going on here on this thread involving the different ways of earning with crypto here in Nigeria, because initially I have been exploring different means, most especially the investing of in newly launched coins on Pump.fun and Dexscreener.com. But I came to noticed that it's very risky if you are unlucky to invest into a dump coin. But I have been looking forward to see if I could see anybody who is into it and has made success, because even life is a risk too, hence, it's best to take the risk you can afford.
Baba you no dey alone. I been don try am too and na bitter sweet experience wey I get. I think people wey dey really make money from these projects nah devs, followed by influencers. A shady dev go just create a token, shill am and when people rush begin buy the token, them go dump am on the community, leaving buyers with the worthless tokens. Nah scams just full everywhere and the chances of getting a gem at a good entry point dem slim.

But however, just as Nwada001 made mentioned about how skill in crypto managerial services or Cyber security been very lucrative for we contri. I will suggest who can learn it should give it a try, because just as new projects coming up daily, so will the new for social media moderators be need too.

As him mention those tech skills no mean say make you no do your own research o, anything wey you hear from anybody no matter how sweet e sound for ear e good make you also do your own background checks to see if whether na something wey go dey very beneficial as the person tell you am. The reason why i dey talk like dis be say most of us when we come across any information on the internet so far as say na person wey dey reputable wey tell us the thing we don conclude say e dey legit without making our own findings to see if e go dey good for us to enter. Managerial service sounds like something wey person fit learn but the cyber security side na very sensitive area wey be say any body wey dey consider to learn cyber security should also think about the risks involved in the job and other things too.

Yes, it's true and I'm not against the fact that it's not good to always verify the authentic of any information before venturing into it, just as in the case of crypto managerial services, which we all know is lucrative here, and likewise cyber security experts who are most always been employed by tech companies to protect their data /information from online hack. Since a Cyber security is simply a professional who is responsible for the protection of computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats through the use of encryption to prevent data breaches and loss. Hence, they can work anywhere, inasmuch as they have data online to protect.

Op your hierarchy no bad but I believe say the thing wey actually open plenty person eye for this crypto matter na Airdrops because so many person wey been no know about crypto just from no where start to dey mine airdrop and because of that some come even believe say crypto na good technology. But above all, all thanks and fingers still fey point bitcoin because  na the halving make all this tins happen, normally before now we don already know say ones halving start many scam project and shitcoins go lauch, and na so e still happen after now some of those project go just die go like that. So I believe say na airdrop na get the most popularity for that hierarchy.

The truth be say if you want really play safe then buying and holding na the best way to entr or run the crypto mata because if you check well trading dey very risky a d even staking sometimes no dey get quick returns like that as e come dey be like buying holding only say that one come dey give some extra money like fix deposits,  Airdrop hunting na nice move but in some cases you go fes get plenty failed attempts  before you fo come get the mega hit so my bro no one esy and as e be, apart from all of thi wey you mentioned,  the other patterns wet dey na for big investors and whatever get huge amounts  wey them get to wan use push projects,  na dem dey even go create coin pump am den dump am, dat sef I dey see am as the ponzi of crytpo which I no go really advices.

It's never suggested for any newbie to get involved into trading, it is not the right thinking to help them grow their capital investment. I believe as a newbie they are still light headed, barely know a thing concerning safe keeping (security consciousness), making use of certain elements to prevent loses, newbies needs to first be disciplined for a long time by allowing them do the simple buy and hold, airdrops are also optional since it doesn't require a start up plan only the idea to be sensitive and not link wallets to a scam site.

If i am to advise a newbie, first get along with the forum, learn a few things that would help then begin to invest and hold, as time goes there will be broader explanation where things won't be difficult to comprehend on how to increase potentials into separate choices, whether mining or staking is left for them because the basic knowledge about risk management is well understood.

I believe the best opportunity ever is to buy bitcoin and hodli for many years, because with the way bitcoin dey go, e show say na future people wey buy bitcoin and hodli go benefit from am pass because the price go don dey very expensive by then. Apart from this, the rest dey very risky and time wasting. Trading and staking no fit give you wetin hodli go give you in long-term.

it what can only benefit you the greatest in cryptocurrency is to invest in bitcoin and leave it for the long term, since it is what I believe will pay me well. Trading is something you will never comprehend if you do not study it, you will never know how risky it is. In my perspective, trading entails taking risks, and if he favors you, that is all. And if he didn't, simply quit and go study investing since nothing can help you in online company or investment. With how our Naija day is today, anyone is looking for anything to eat, and if you are not strong enough to trade, you can definitely lose all your funds even you are professional because no one can predict the market is just lucky and experience. What I notice with how online business they usually prefer to find something that will pay once and he will never get huge funds when you are not patient expect you wish to take another part that is high risk that can damage you. Is always better to be patient and invest what you have an be patient and leave it for long term and invest what you can afford to lose and you will see the rewards .

For di hierarchy of crypto popularity inside Nigeria, and I believe for everywhere in the world na Bitcoin investment, buy and hodl to get profit during bull run. Di popularity of Bitcoin investment na based on say you no need to learn about technical analysis to hold your Bitcoin, na di simplicity and im reputation make am number one. After dat one na crypto trading, a lot of people de enter into trading based on di hype wey dem de hear on social media. Most of dem think say na get rich quick scheme, after dem don subscribe and learn am finish dem go understand say e carry plenty risks. As for mining all of us know say e no de profitable for Nigeria, especially because of our epileptic power supply.

I think airdrop hunting is the most popular among them because the majority of crypto enthusiasts I have encountered mostly engage in airdrops and telegram airdrops, to be precise. Trading takes or needs skills, technicalities, and expertise, and you hardly see people talking about trading because it is difficult for them to do. People also invest in coins and tokens of their choice based on their plans and the analysis they must have carried out, it requires them to either buy from cex or swap on dex to their wallet they deem fit holding.

Mining is what I think is not and is never feasible here because it requires much to start or fix up. Should I say it is not profitable? or the cost of running the mining farm is much more expensive than the rewards itself. I hardly hear anyone talking about running it here because it would cost them hell to maintain it. Hence, crypto enthusiasts do not bother looking in that direction.  As for cloud mining, like the telegram bot mining apps, etc., crypto enthusiasts do that with their phones because it costs them not much but just data and an internet connection.

Staking is not that popular anymore, as the last time I discussed it with enthusiasts, I was told that the staking aspect is beginning to lose interest because devs are now using it as a strategy to hold people down while they pump the price of the token when the majority of holders have already staked their coin or token and they would miss out of the pump and they dump on them before they unstake their coin and token, then it is worthless to say.

Cryptocurrency has gained worldwide popularity in the past few years. Because it is not traded through any specific banking system. Almost everyone in the world knows about Bitcoin and how to make Bitcoin work. Although we do not have such a large presence in Nigeria, people from different parts of the country are associated with cryptocurrency. One of the main reasons why the popularity of cryptocurrency is increasing is that when someone is profiting from Bitcoin, 10 more people are showing interest. This is why the popularity of cryptocurrency is increasing

In my own view, I will pick Airdrop hunting as the first before others. Nigerians love free money. Some love to invest in cryptocurrency but doesn't want to start with their money, they believe they could start the journey smoothly after winning a free money (airdrop). This has helped to push alot of people in the space. I could remember I started my crypto journey with airdrop as well during the time of airdrop from CMC. Tapping tapping airdrop from telegram has also helped to make airdrop come above all as this has introduce alot of people (newbies) to the crypto space. Even the underaged taps for airdrops this days since they have a phone. So for me, airdrop hunting comes first in the list as others follows.

Trading na something way, even person way no Dey into cryptocurrency go just know about due to the advent of forex and forex trading but then, once you don get idea say something like that Dey, e no go hard you to relate with cryptocurrency as a field that embodies trading as well. Eventually, the difficulty in trading and the fact say, most of our people for here no even get the money to risk con make am a not very patronized idea. Also, e Dey very requiring of capital, gadget and mental effort.

When it comes to airdrop, once person fit manage get telegram, e don end. This na em make am get way too much popularity as, task no Dey hard person do even in the midst say, e no Dey pay. People still get hope say one day, them go jam block. Omo, na airdrop popular now, even if the majority of the people way Dey run am today no sabi am as airdrop.

Buying and keeping ( holding) is safer when you start comparing it to trading and related stuffs and tbh trading is quite popular in Nigeria than even  the Buying and holding, although most of these traders buy and hold as well while carrying on with their trading.. Trading is  very risky and has turned a lot of people to anti crypto monsters who will never involve in anything crypto again probably.. i think that should give a brief look on why holding is much preferravpe when it comes to less risk.
Minning is not popular in Nigeria due to some obviousreasons , I've seen a lot of folks claim running of nodes to be minning, i don't know the kind of  node they running but it definitely not Minning even if they get some rewards from running it .
Any cryptocurrency that uses the proof-of-work (POW )mechanism requires  minning, Bitcoin is a good example... but i think the proof-of-stake is more popular than it in Nigeria .

Airdrop are the majority of what Nigerian do, to me this is the beginning of crypto journey, the airdrop participants, I've never seen an oldies in the crypto game that's still an airdrop doer, they get tired at some point and start focusing on buying and holding, they knew nothing comes out from doing a lot of tasks daily and end of the day given peanuts as rewards.

Staking should've been very good but it requires a much of capital and patience, it's discouraging when you stake a coin worth $100 for instance and get up to $4-6 profits after like 2 years of staking. It's even worse if it's done on a decentralized platform where the unstaking fee will fetch you out badly expecially on ethereum blockchain.

Investing and holding is actually the most popular and this is also amongst the uncertain because many people love to experience with alts especially the one that's very cheap so the risks are higher, mining now is not for everyone so I will not Suggest this if you don't have the capital for it.
For me you can actually sell crypt related services and make a living out of it too.
