The fee to transfer BTC is always high in my opinion, but that aside, I saw this post in technical discussion:

Few minutes ago I made a transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/17ba509ec296fd393cb202eb978db157d65d2a7f522f31af1351a2176fccb22a
Notice the tx fee: 0.00037548 BTC
Too high. I have used the SegWit address and the receiver is also had the SegWit address.

Normally it goes like 0.00000830 BTC and stuffs.

Anyone has idea about this high fee now?
I really do not understand how the fees thing works for Bitcoin.

Also I would appreciate any tips/tricks to reduce tx fees.

PS: I have no idea which board is appropriate for this kind of topic however I thought Serious Discussion might be the one. If I am wrong then mod please accept my advance apology. Still learning  Smiley
