Hey - so I am the cofounder of lazzerbee.com - we make what are essentially bitcoin paperwallet gift cards.  I would like to sell some here, at a discount, mainly so I can start having some kind of transaction history.  I charge $9 plus shipping on the site for the wallets, but if anyone here is willing to buy them I can offer them for .0085 BTC each with free shipping.

These are not just printed paper, they are made on teslin which is a polymer... tamper proof stickers, and btc logo stickers.  I am offering any of the designs on the site for that price.

Again, I am doing this because I want to build up some trust on the site and I wouldn't mind selling a few wallets.

I know its true that I will in theory have the ability to retain the private keys - but I can assure you I don't, and, again, these are designed to put a few bucks worth of bitcoin on them to give as gifts.

You may have seen them before - a few of the Christmas wallets were give by Matt Miller on Bloomberg news to some of the other on air people... one of them opened it and showed the QR of the private key and it created a bit of a reddit whirlwind.

Anyway, that us, that is our product.  We are working on new designs and other products but in the mean time, as I said, I'd like to build up some trust.

Anyway questions or comments are appreciated.

this seems worrysome from a new user on the forum... you are asking people to trust you to hold their btc

are you doing password protected paper wallets where you do not have the password? or only where you control the full private key?

I totally understand what you mean... I know I am asking people to trust me here.  There isn't bit38 on them... I will however get some of my personal friends who are trusted members and core devs to post in this thread later verifying that I am not a scammer.  But I do hear you.

Do you have a better suggestion as to how I could build up some trust?  My business partner doesn't want us to do bit38 because our real target market isn't for people putting large amounts of coin on wallets and hard core bitcoiners... but rather to give a few bitcents or whatever to people as gifts to get them involved in bitcoins.

EDIT:  If you like I can send sets of two wallets, uncut, without QRs on them so that you can print your own QRs on them.  I would include the stickers in the package so that you can cut and fold them yourself...  That seem fair?
