The guy that wrote that article is just speculating. He tries to make it seem like he know what he is talking about, but he doesn't. What journalist uses random posts on reddit as a source?
Obviously not a reporter that has any real chance of making a long term career in journalism.

I think it is actually the reddit user that was speculating and the reporter who was using an uncredible source to try to make headlines.
