Hi

Has anybody heard of this new exchange on here highbi.co, its offering a new blockchain currency GISC realted to 5G and internet of things. Is this a legitimate site or a scam. My friend told me about this but looks a bit suspicious. I'm pretty new to bitcoin and are careful to invest. Any help would be appreciated
So were talking about https://www.highbi.co on here. Ive seen this one had some volume but it isnt listed out yet on CMC which is already an indicator that we shouldnt trust up this one.
Come to think that even those exchangers who are on coinmarketcap doesnt mean that they are trustable enough. How much more for those who havent listed?
I dont know if its relevant in talks about blockchain and 5g/internet matter. So my advise is that better to stay away on this one.

There are a lot of negative signs regarding that platform, a new platform, they use bright names, there are no future plans, and other things so avoid using any platform that uses general words like solving the problem of Corona, 5G network.
Even if you are not an impostor, you will not achieve profits through it, and the general rule is: all platforms are scam unless you prove otherwise.

Avoid using this new exchange with central point of failure.
Search bitcointalk forum and you will find a lot of people complaining of being scammed or account locked.

Can't access also the exchange. So the site might be really down. With a start like this, better stay away from this exchange if in case they decided to go online.

If the OP is new to this, better trust the top exchanges first.

This "exchanger"/ site/ platform is not working for me as well and even if it starts at some point, I will avoid trading there. Especially after these red flags.
Be cautious though with any exchanger, no matter if it's new or old...

it says it expires on 20/02/2021, registered 20/02/2020
My point was about how old the domain is. Don't look at the expiry date, look at the date the domain was registered and updated, which is about two months ago.

Yes, with very fresh start in the market, they don't have the credibility yet in the community.

1.  Is it just me or the so-called exchange is Offline

2. Avoid the exchange at all costs. It's brand new and the likelihood of it pulling of a scam is 95%
The domain was just registered two months ago

3. I would be so careful investing in the so-called new blockchain currencies. Ask yourself, how is the coin/token applicable in the real world situation?
What current global biting problems does it solve? Is the project behind the coin/token feasible?
Otherwise, most of these coins that have zero solutions are just there to rip off your valuable money in exchange for a worthless token that will be close to zero cents in the next few months after launching.

Making a neat-looking website isn't that hard. Just buy some $20 script and you're good to go. So, never trust a website just because it looks good.

Anyway, this is not the place to ask for investment advice. And asking some random strangers on the internet about how and what coin you should buy is not a good idea either.

Thanks for that I am very careful with my cash but are interested in Cryptocurrency. So will only invest in reputable exchanges and currencies. Just wanna warn my friend this site could be a scam. It looks very sophisticated however and professional, but this must be the lengths some of these scams can go to to gain money off people
Yes, do it and warn them immediately.

If you land to an exchange make sure that you will commit minutes of your time searching for the reviews. It's easy to distinguish them these days because information is just a click away and you can easily determine them.

Few examples of good exchanges.

  • Binance
  • Kucoin
  • Kraken

There's more of them but I've just listed few and those who came to my mind quickly.

I have not.

New exchanges are barely heard and as much as we want to try them, better not. The same with that crypto that they are working with, I have not heard of it so I can't tell if it's a scam or not because almost no information is existing about that project except those ICO reviews.

I'm pretty new to bitcoin and are careful to invest. Any help would be appreciated
