I had returned some open box Asus CuCore 5770's a few weeks ago due to driver crashes and constant OS freezes.  Newegg is notorious for putting up the same card(s) after a customer return.

I've had more luck with MSI 5770 Hawks.  In fact, I have 7 sitting next to me.  Cheesy  Stupid me, I'm also in the process of cleaning out my basement so I can't mine on them at the moment.  Grrr..

all open box items have quantities of only a few... that's why it's hard to see them in stock for a long time.

Newegg's got an Open Box listing for an ASUS CuCore 5770 video card for $50.99, which is outstanding due to the fact that the 5770 can be pushed, at its highest limit, very near 250 Mh/s. More realistically, it clears 220 Mh/s without any problem. This special price makes this card the highest possible value that I'm aware of. Well above 4Mh/$ and very near 5Mh/$.

Too bad this is only an open box special because I'd love to buy several of these to really rake in the returns.
