A million TPS is just a figure which hasn't been proven to be true, many of those mainnet call themselves blockchain 4.0 and they aren't at standard of blockchain 2.0. It's written only on paper with nothing to proof it to be real.

I think nano is the fastest out there with 24,000 transactions per second.

This is a lot, even compared to visa

However, nano is a very centralized cryptocurrency.

Everytime you use a centralized cryptocurrency, ask yourself why shouldn't you use visa instead? Decentralization is more important than tpa

Transaction per Second term has been misused and abused especially during 2018. If you hear an ICO claiming to reach million tps then they are probably lying and are pure cash grab ICO. There are much more important aspects to consider other than TPS. So much hype has been built on TPS which is really crazy!

We constantly read projects claiming 1+ million TPS, however what is the highest number delivered at mainnet without security issues? Please no testnet results, as that means squat.
It's just a marketing gimmick dude and you should not pay attention to that thing. You can try to use CS, Universa and i guess it's claimed even better than EOS. But whatever fast your platform if that can't even attract the users and it will be meaningless and useless. We need adoption to make it even bigger than before.

Well as I can see now there are many projects that are trying to impress those investors and users to produce the highest TPS in blockchain and OMG and TPS are now the leading those highest TPS in crypto currencies.

On the claims of something providing high TPS is usually just made up numbers or if even someone says they are facts they can't show proper data to prove that fact. In the end it's all just a way to promote the coin and no actual facts stated for the stats and how they came to happen. Just another part of marketing. Anything along the lines can be taken as a possible estimate than an assurity of that's what you'll get so best to check your facts before jumping the gun.

I agree somehow other resort to exaggeration and indeed a marketing scheme.  Announcing anything officially should involve proper data and proven facts.  It should also be tested on the main net and not just only on the test net.  It must also be free of any risk or possible exploit since it is not funny for users to be exploited and hacked because of this buggy stuff.  If it can not be 100% free of exploit and bugs then the simple answer is it is not possible.

This kind of data is quite hard to get. And people often does not look around for such information. There are of course some projects that claim that they have made more than 1 million TPS, which not only seem insane, but also too good to be true.

I believe this is possible but it is not yet time since I believe there are still lots of test to be done.

they all fake, as ı know fastest blockchaın is waves and they have 400 tx for per second , ım not sure about ıt but 1 mıllıon for a second Cheesy ıts a joke , also no body need that kınd of speed for now, but all that chaıns who says 1 m tx ıs just lıe Cheesy

Where does the 400 TPS come from? I can only see 100 TPS for Wave.

There is a blockchain called TIM that claims 100 million TPS. Now that is madness.

It is only giving hype to that coin. I think I'm very familiar with that coin which keep on promoting something more about partrnerships to gain popularity and demand.

I think that the first project that can come close to such figures is Ethereum. But they are too far behind their roadmap (
I also think about ETH but when its network is congested, you can expect a network traffic.

Ahahahaha 1 million TPS is a lie, I have never seen evidence of this in crypto. I am sure that such figures are drawn specifically to raise interest in the project and collect more investments. Typically, such projects have nothing but white paper and a roadmap. I think that the first project that can come close to such figures is Ethereum. But they are too far behind their roadmap (

I can only presume the lack of response is because it has never been done on mainnet and proven both secure and decentralised. I know of approx 4k for EOS and 1.3k for Gochain (not sure how decentralised both are at present).
