I personally feel bad for your friend. Maybe you think he is an intelligent one who has lots of scholarships, graduated with fly-colors, and was able to find and keep a decent job. Despite that, I still think he doesn't know much like you think he does. He is just one guy who can see an easy way to earn money and refuse to choose another path or even think of the way he is going. He follows a successful man's words blindly and refuses to change his mind. Just let him be himself though, he will fall someday, maybe sooner than you can expect.

Just let him be, there would be consequences on all things that he had done. Nothing last forever.Lets say he's making money right now
but time will tell on when he would bust up himself specially if he do engage on MLM scams etc. There's a significant violation on that when
we do talk about stealing investors money. Just to ask, why your friends havent made up any legal move with that franchise investment
in 2008? All of them would really have able to file a case if there are evidences that he do received the money and cant prove out  that
investment do really exist in the first place.

Everyone is free to argue, so it doesn't matter whether your friend or Warren Buffett doesn't like bitcoin and considers bitcoin a scam.
Reading your story in the opening post already illustrates that your friend has a bad attitude. It is not a guarantee that smart people
all his actions and decisions must be right. Proof that your friend is smart, but has a bad attitude. My advice stay away from friends
who have bad attitude, just focus on the bitcoin that we believe in. It will definitely have a positive impact.

I think there is no persuading that happening here mate instead OP is just curious why His friend in which a Great scammer don't like victimizing Bitcoin user because He thinks that if His friend really want to make money in scamming then Bitcoiner is one best place to make money.

Mate it is our obligation ti spread Bitcoin and what is good about this because we are the one that will benefits if the adoption happens soon.

This is a problem if we will be having that same attitude because how can we be grow that high if we are limiting the chances of letting people know about this.

I don’t think there is any need to persuade him, not to talk of hating him for a choice that he made. It is just his choice, and you can’t really tell him what to do, so let him be. I have such friends who don’t believe in Bitcoin, I don’t force them, I just let them be with their choice. And at this time I am not the type of person that likes talking about Bitcoin to people.

Seriously, it’s not my job to do that. Bitcoin is everywhere in the internet and for anyone that wants to learn about it, there are lots of web contents that can teach them that. I shouldn’t be out there stressing the hell out of myself. If you force these people, when they lose money they are going to blame you.

The scammer will be always scammer, whoever they come from, their orientation is for money, collecting for money and it is for their happiness. No worry about what other people feeling, even though their friends, siblings, and other relations. Money is all of it. It is so sad. If reading from your story (even it is a true story or not), it is so sad to know this kind of person turns into a scammer. But, once more, scammers may not only come from intelligent people but also from their experiences, their press to earn money and then addicted to stealing money again and again. yeah, because they think, earning money much and much from scamming is free.

Scammers have always been highly educated, the difference is now that we have all been scammed once in our lives (most of us anyway) the poor scammers who are doing a bad job is not getting anywhere, they are treated like Nigerian prince scam and not really cared about.

This only leads to highly sophisticated scammers to look more educated and savvy with what they are doing and be capable of scamming people. They were always there, they just didn't pose a bigger threat because people were getting scammed a lot more frequently than they used to, now they are not really crowded anymore and when they are alone without other small bad ones, they get more attention. Scamming is actually an art, you are convincing people to give you their money, not an easy task to achieve.

It can be very difficult to distinguish scammers from the real option of earning. There are frank schemes where it immediately becomes clear. But what if a friend offers to invest and make a profit? Especially if this is his project personally. And yes, how to distinguish investments from scammers?

Scammers are more now a days they may scam and become rich but one day they will have to pay for it. Cheating friends he's a filthy man. Money minded he's. Hope in future atleast people don't believe blindly all.

Anyway regarding to your friend who was  a medicine expert turned into a scammer, I can't blame him TBH if he became a scammer. Take note that if there are no people who are ignorant, scammer will take advantage of it that is why knowledge is very powerful when it comes to investing. His friends trusted your friend and that "TRUST" is the reason why they are scammed by a huge amount.

Regarding to what he said, I don't care and most of us here doesn't care if that scammer hate Bitcoin. He idolizes Warren Buffet as I see with your post and we know already that Buffet is a huge cash holder waiting for any opportunities. Different people have different perspective with regards to Bitcoin. If he hates then so be it. He is not a lose to the community.

These people who scams millions of dollars of bitcoin are very smart, they would not succeed if they aren't.

What if he is only FOOLING you?that while he denies Bitcoin but the truth is He is targeting Bitcoiners to bea  victim,because this market is undeniable for the scammers to make money.

We're all entitled to our own decision and regardless of the outcome it will be in our hand how we should handle it and we can't blame those people who hate Bitcoin for they lack knowledge about it and there's a big chance that their decisions are being influenced by someone that they really trust.

We can't insist on everyone to embrace Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency adaption, we can't give any assurance as well to them that there will be no downturn in bitcoin space. However, the only thing we can assure for now is that if global adoption happens we are already far beyond them and they miss so much time and opportunities to have an early growth in Bitcoin.

People who hate bitcoin and don't want to know about cryptocurrency are indeed very unlucky people by choosing bad decisions. The future of bitcoin and cryptocurrency is very good and supports today's modern society. The price of bitcoin continues to be too high. Those who are ordinary and who hated bitcoin only see from one perspective about bitcoin, not seeing some of the advantages that this digital currency has.
There are some who recommend bitcoin and many who do not recommend it because the price of bitcoin is volatile, is not regulated by anyone or the government etc. The general public only knows that Bitcoin is a digital currency that has many high risks.

In the society, people always get affected by the ideas of other people and many a times or mostly they make decisions based on those ideas which can proove wrong. And not investing in crypto and hating bitcoins is also one of those bad decisions which most people have made today and they will regret this decision once the bitcoin price will becone beyond their reach to buy and invest. Most of the economists are not recommending people to invest in bitcoin because the general public won't be able to handle the pumps and dumps of the market.

Though majority has the same views and that Is bitcoin is really a good investment if we can afford to lose and can also aware of waiting long time before investing their money because no one can be blame but our self only.

Even rich people don't want to invest on bitcoin simply because they have their own belief and maybe your highly intelligent friend knows better than you and he probably don't want to invest his money, well I just have to disagree to your friend because bitcoin is not a scammer nor a scam.

That's true also. There are doctors and lawyers who end up being criminals too. Disappointing as it may seem but shits happen. Just just can't tell when a good man go crazy. But its more encouraging to see criminals become law abiding citizen and then have a professional career.

The story above is just to say that too smart people lose out in bitcoin because they will keep seeing it as bubble while bitcoin keeps halving and investors keep on making profit too. Sometimes too they deceive others and create fund for price to drop and they buy more for themselves. They invest too but you don't know openly.

^Dont be so fascinated to know a scammer giving up their profession. It’s too common among full circle, many people give up for a variety of reason. Bitcoin is not easy to scam, nobody get scammed in bitcoin but bitconnect is a yes.

As I was reading I had it in my mind that the point in all these was that all scammers hate BTC and these scammers harass their friends on the whatapps calling them idiots. I was wrong.

He chooses to work full time like that and throw away his profession. It's kinda disappointing that he wasted his time studying medicine to just let go of his medical career. But it's his choice after all if he thinks he can be a millionaire by doing it than pursuing his profession, let him. About his dislike towards bitcoin, we can't force everyone to like it since it's a personal perspective. Simply just like you, you don't like the idea of MLM but you believe in bitcoin.

What I don't like about this story is that he uses the money of his friends for his own benefit but his friends received no return. And if it involves a big amount of money, why they just let that happen and did not report it or something? I feel bad for his friends who trusted him and made an investment and gained nothing. The reason why sometimes even it's your "friend", it's hard to trust them especially when it's money-related. For me, the issue here is not that he doesn't like bitcoin, it's actually how he deceived his friends for money and then saying they are stupid for believing him.

I don’t see the difference between a highly educated con man or someone who isn’t exactly a doctor when we talk about his relationship to something like Bitcoin. I am sure that your friend will one day change his mind, especially when he realizes that there are (unfortunately) a lot of scam methods that can be performed with the help of Bitcoin.

People like him have no scruples when it comes to money, they would sell their own mother for profit - so you shouldn't be surprised that he's constantly trying to fool his friends, who, if they were smart, would have rejected such a man a long time ago. I personally would not interact with such people at all, but I would report them (if there is evidence) to the police for any illegal activities.

If you think about it a little better, it’s actually better that he hates Bitcoin than that he’s doing us all a bad reputation with any kind of connection with the same.

Warren buffet doesn't like bitcoin because he can't get in on it, he's been quoted saying "anything with a market cap over 1 billion is here to stay" your friend could be the same and a lot of us use it to diversify when starting with investments as it's a completely different asset class or just have interest in the technology...

My friend is a very intelligent person, he was award national scholarship, get flying colour in national higher education examination (SAT equivalent), graduate the post scholar with first class honour(highest achievement in academic) in medicine specialist, but he’s a filthy scammer, he called himself unit trust agent with fund manager title, he introduced couple of his loyal friends to a franchise investment in 2008, its a food chains and was promising 12% in passive income, many of his friends invested more than $100k worth into the pyramid, within one year the scam collapsed, and all his friends loss money, but this scammer manage to escape with a fat profit, he called all his friends who loss money an idiot and idiot should pay lesson fee for their mistakes, it’s the price of being stupid, all of his friends hate him. A few years later he is announcing to quit his medicine jobs and go full time on MLM, and very confidence his MLM chain can make his dream come true, he collab with a billionaire who sponsoring the MLM and promise him a stockist exclusive right to him on the most developed city of the state, that’s mean he is the sole owner of the franchise on the city, no other people can open another franchise within his sovereignty without permission, he told everybody he is not regret to quit his five figure medicine job, and go full time on MLM scam. We all call him shameless scammers who ripoff couple of his friends hard earned money, he called us idiots. Next he also go full time on stock trading, he said he is fund manager now, and can invest a few millions, he is very inspired by Warren Buffett, and want to be the same like him, he frequently harass couples of his friends in WhatsApp and tell them what’s he is investing right now and how much money his portfolio worth now, and his entire portfolio is changing faster than trump changing his panty, am very disappointed with this scammer, a medicine specialist turn into full time scammer who enjoy ripoff his friendship over money. One occasion I introduce him into bitcoin, he immediately call me idiot and calling bitcoin is a fault! He said Warren Buffett dislike bitcoin, its a scam.
