In a market a big veiled woman complete with her veil passing in front of a lady selling vegetables, suddenly the vegetable seller nyeletuk, "Watch out, there is a demon through!". Feeling uncomfortable with the mother's words The veiled woman then approached her then asked, "What did the devil say was me?" With a gasp the vegetable seller was forced to reply, "Yes." "True, I am a demon, so I cover my face If I show my face then the mother's husband will be conquered before me." Said the veiled woman, then open the cover of her face then look her face is very beautiful make the mother of the vegetable seller stunned. " The first time I read this story. I was very jerked. how not, today, veiled women are viewed as a frightening, threatening, ostensible thing to even be labeled a terrorist. In fact, these women just want to cover her nakedness so that men do not get sins because they see the beauty of his face. is it wrong?

That is just it. Many of those that criticized it do so because they don't just like them, why some ate convinced after they had a contact with a pious Muslimah. May God save us all. Aameen

regardless of any prepossession and perspective about wearing hijab, as long as the output is praiseworthy behavior then there is nothing wrong with it

There is something wrong with the men who need women in hijabs. It is not freedom when you need to wear something because of others.

There's nothing wrong with it,  don't say what you don't know

And you know as much as people who assembled Quran manuscript, decades after Muhammad died.

Nothing wrong? Pretty much everything is wrong with the Islamic world view.

It is like saying you need to put a tarp over your car or house because someone might like it and steal it or break-in.  It is worse because we are talking about human beings not property, but to you it is all the same.

All people who agree that owning people is ok are despicable animals.

1) I think that the contrast between women and men in Islamic culture is striking.

The girls — especially if they wear hijab — are nice, polite, a little timid and somewhat submissive. They will usually treat you well, for example as shop attendants.

The men and boys sometimes act as if they have no limits, talk loudly, use the street as if they own it, and will hang around in groups. Sometimes they like to threaten others or make fun of them. When you see a Muslim mother with little sons and daughters, it seems the sons are allowed to do as they please, and the daughters are kept on a short leash. I guess that explains why the adult young women are so friendly and service-minded. They are educated to serve and care about others, to care for the men.

2) I wonder whether they chose the headscarf by themselves, or were forced to wear it. But after asking some, and getting used to seeing it, it appears to me that most of them have chosen it freely. I still suspect that their free choice, in some cases, can be subject to group pressure or pressure form male family members. But I accept their choice.

3) I wonder if they just wear it because it is important to themselves, or as a symbol to show to the world. And is it in order to show other Muslims that they are pious, or is it in order to show non-Muslims that they insist on their faith?

In all aspects, it is a much more visible symbol than a necklace or the Jewish kippah.

although i like and prefer the islamic concept of god better than the christian one, there are still some issues with muslims and their fixation towards certain form of corporation and organisation

you muslims have a cultural horizon of medieval people, this cultural fixation makes you drift away from being muslims becoming actually just mohammedanians being fixed on arab desert medieval culture.

women can be promiscuitive and run a state themselves with the men being completely passive. it depends how the culture is designed.

i dont mind if muslims want to live their medieval dress code. but dont wonder if others use artificial wombs to secure mass scale reproduction instead of married women.... they therefore breed and maintain a form of human that is more corporative. i dont mind muslims living their way, but other ways are also possible and you have to just live next to them.

i personally prefer women to be strong and to work, and to engage in life instead of beeing a breeding servant for men.

regards

Yep.

That's twisted, sick wrong...

Like genital mutilation?  Or just genital mutilation when a Rabbi infects a kid with herpes by sucking it's bleeding cock?

Have you seen the state of humanity? Does this reflect rational, self-controlled beings? No, and how is this relevant?

yup, that's cause most people are not even trying, they prefer to blame someone else.

Humans do sin, everyone of them, so doing something to prevent that out of compassion,

People in most repressive societies hardly can have a healthy sexuality.

is very altruistic and should be respected not associated with terror, that is the issue here.

it's called altruism when it's not imposed. It's not terror, but seems terryfying to live feeling guilty for your own existence, being careful to avoid provoking wild instincts of very narrow minded men. Evil is not outside.

human beings are rational beings capable of self-control, you are good if you do good in any circumstances.
blaming someone else for your behavior and mistakes is weakness.

That is very kind of them actually and if that is the reason to wear it, by free will, it is a beautiful thing i must say.
I do not think many sees it this way and as you say many negative ideas about women with hijabs exsists. I think it is strange that some would have rules against it, but again media always finds things to make us fear and point or fingers at.

Thanks for this little story  Cheesy made me think about the situation and reason behind wearing such cloths.
