@cyclops: I am a web developer. However, you are very vague in your first post. I would like to hear some more details:
- Why do you believe that making a SatoshiDice-like site for alt-coins will be worth it?
- If it is worth it, why would a developer make it for you instead of running it themselves?
- You might underestimate the amount of work and money needed to make a gambling site run. As well as the bankroll one will need. After all, even tough the house will win on the long run, occasionally people win. Needing money in all kinds of different alt-coins doesn't make this easier.
- On top of that, a casino or other online gambling site is much harder to make, because everything has to be totally safe and secure. If not, you (or your players, which might be even worse) will have the risk to be swindled out of a lot of money.
- Is a gambling game "adaptable for all type [sic] of alt-coins" going to be worth the extra development time that it costs to set up all the different clients? You'll probably need one or multiple dedicated servers running a dozen different coin clients. Although these coins have much in common, they have significant differences as well, requiring much more time to set up properly. Also, alt-coins come and go like a swift breeze. Who's going to maintain the system? Remove old, unused altcoins and add new ones?
- When is a developer 'reputable' in your eyes?
I hope you can answer these questions thoroughly.
