Thanks for the reply. What I meant is that can your buildings be hired for all future listings?

It really does not make sense......sorry. I'm trying my best here.

just to ask, if anyone clicks on the link to the auction is the software working for them? As some people said it doesnt work

thanks

Works for me.

How would this work? I might be interested if I could get this for a good price. But, how would the exchanging of Bitcoin and the deed of the house be handed over and dealt with? I guess it would require the buyer to travel to germany to actually recieve the deed, but is it possible for the person to purchase the property and get your workers in and make it 100% livable and then come and visit?

I would want to keep costs as low as possible and I see that travelling to germany is quite expensive and travelling a few times throughtout the process of getting it up to living standards could be expensive.

Also, I'm going to be looking at your future properties and will your buildings be useable for all the properties?

Hi Effin,

The land registry in Germany is called the 'Grundbuchamt' and there is no physical deed per se; you are entered into the registry as an owner. Physical property deeds are something of a archaic system that has now mostly been phased out in all countries in Europe, including the UK.

All purchasing can be done with a power of attorney through a Notar and the local embassy of Germany in your area.  We can also provide renovation and labour- and possible for bitcoin as one of our team is interested in being paid in Bitcoin. Obviously there will be some 'real world' costs that will be unavoidable, IE taxes, building materials.....not everything can be paid in BTC.

I am assuming that your question about buildings being used on all properties was just a typo and you meant can future properties be paid in Bitcoin? This question really depends on how we are treated by the Bitcoin community. If the auction goes well and we have a smooth transaction, we will encourage more and more people to offer property in bitcoin. If there is little interest or Bitcoin creates more problem than a traditional sale then No, we will stop our efforts to engage with the Bitcoin community.

If you have any more questions please dont hesitate to ask!

Looks like you'd have to spend a load on renovation Wink

About 20k would have it up to scratch; as a B&B the rooms can rent out for 55 euros a night 5 rooms @ 55 by a peak season of 120 days a year; 4-5 year payback on the renovations as a B&B.....plus ully renovated the property will be worth about 90,000 euros. For a sensible investor with some bit-coins and maybe some savings, this is an ideal situation.

And they could offer to take bitcoin for the B&B....

CONDITION: RENOVATION PROJECT
 DENKMALCHUTZ(*) YES
BUILDING CONTRIBUTIONS(*) 867 EUROS (due 2015)
***ALL BIDS SUBJECT TO AUCTION HOUSE COMMISSION OF 10% and do not include conveyance fees****

This is a residential property in a quiet location, at the end of a cul-de-sac and facing the local church.
There are 7 main rooms in the property, plus areas for 2 bathrooms, a large attic and cellar, plus several small storage rooms. One of the rooms has an attractive balcony overlooking the town.
The property is a semi detached house between two occupied neighbours, properties on both sides are renovated and lived in.

The property is considered a 'Historic' Property- Built in 1670, it is a listed building and in an area of outstanding historic importance. This means that you will qualify for a GRANT from the state of Sachen-Anhalt for help with renovations and restoration.

The property will require a good amount of renovation- structurally it is OK, the roof is ok and the walls are ok, but as with all old houses a new electrical and plumbing system would be required, a paint job, new windows advised, some floor will need replacing. We can help you with the renovations if required, we have a good building team that has worked for us before.

A viewing is highly recommended to take in the area and the property. Pictures are hard to describe something so unique and historical such as this.

THIS PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD AT AUCTION ON OUR FACEBOOK BUDDYBID AUCTION PAGE.

WELCOME TO OUR FIRST FACEBOOK/BITCOIN AUCTION! A long time in the planning, we have been trying to move ourselves away from the great eBay monster and try and be in control of our own destiny.
We need your help and support- please share our auction with anyone you think might be interested! If this works, we will have a lot more interest in clients who wish to advertise properties in this way, which means more bargains and exciting opportunities to be had for all!

BITCOINERS: We are open to accept BITCOIN and LITECOIN on this auction. Therefore the auction will be running in parallel with an auction on the Bitcointalk.org website. (this is that auction!)

We will ‘port’ in bids from users who do not have a Facebook account by bidding on their behalf, but would like it if people would be willing to put bids on the actual Facebook page, they can also put there bid here in the forum too.

Thank you for your support and happy bidding.
This is a LIVE auction- if the reserve is met, the high bidder WILL get this house for what they bid on it!

Thanks very much for your time, Auction Ends: Monday 3rd November 9:20 GMT

Bidding starts at 100GBP or .5BTC for arguments sake.

Good luck!
