I did miss it. Can I find the daily volume weighted average bitstamp price there? That's what I'm looking for.

The information's all there, so one could perceivably write an indicator that does that using their scripting engine, but unfortunately I don't believe there's any easy, out-of-the-box way to do it.

On my end the chart also stops short at around 17:00 UTC if I choose a time period from 2017-01-01 to 2017-01-02. It properly shows the recent history if I choose 2017-01-01 to 2017-01-03.

Are you sure? It doesn't for me:

On the chance that you missed my earlier comment: You might prefer TradingView. It can use the same data from Bitstamp but is much easier to navigate in my opinion.

Why don't you try this chart https://blockchain.info/charts almost all you need is there to follow the movement of bitcoin..
Coinmarket cap is one of the good chart but less information but good to use for checking other altcoin in rankings.

Do either show the daily volume weighted average bitstamp price?

That site seems to only show history up to 5pm UTC on Jan 1st 2017. Do you know how to get it to show the more recent prices?

I tried emailing the address on the site, but got no response.

My favorite site for analyzing long term Bitcoin price development in USD, EUR and Bitcoin is bitcoincharts.com

It includes data from a lot of exchanges. So you are able to compare them. Data goes back up to 2010 (depends on exchange).

Here is a USD price chart you are looking for https://bitcoincharts.com/charts/bitstampUSD#tgSzm1g10zm2g25zv

Blockchain.info has a BTC/USD graph that goes back to the beginning of Bitcoin, if that's what you're looking for.

Your question is ambiguous, but assuming you're looking for a Bitcoin price chart TradingView is one of the best free chart providers. Their Bitstamp data goes back all the way to late 2011, for example.

I also expect this day for long term and now it became true.

You could try one of the many live chart sites like https://bitcoinwisdom.com/ (though it shows only less than 2 yrs back).
