Why do you want to ask them to send your DOGEs onto the Binance BSC blockchain and not the normal Dogecoin blockchain? I don't understand. In addition I don't think a mail like that, sent to their support on top of that will change anything. As I said above we need to unmask the true leaders of the company in order to contact them directly and to take actions against them, if they don't accept to do anything.

There must be a way to stop this criminals and get the Coin DOGE back!!!!!!! Does anyone know how??
You have no choice but to make much more noise on different platforms. If possible, even involve influencers on platforms like crypto twitter. Maybe this can catch the eye of regulators and law enforcement.

Or you could gather as victims and mount some sort of legal war against them. Maybe they would wake up and work on your issues, but as things stand right now. HitBTC is a criminal service, and they probably know that they are scamming users.

There is no update on the case regarding the issue of the withdrawal. But you have just bumped the thread and based on the username as well as this post it is easy to say that you have become a victim to them. But the Op while posted on here was able to sell the doege and was able to withdraw that. And it was not too much loss. It may happen for their internal issue. If you have any isuuue then you should create a fresh post instead of bumping the old thread.

You should open a thread into the Investigations board. Maybe some OSINT seasoned guys could help us to track and unmask them in order to take actions against them.

If it is not your key, then it is not your coin on blockchain, it is not your key, it is HitBTC's key and doge withdrawal was disabled. I have noticed if a coin is having this issue on some exchanges, the coin price may not be correct. The deposit should have been disabled also (or maybe you are warned not to deposit into the address by HitBTC?), but anything stupid can come up from a centralized body like this type.

All I can say is to try to want to convert it to USDT, I think the value of USDT it will be converted to will be displayed, if not displayed, do not take the risk to convert. If it displayed and it is indicating the actual price you are expecting, then you can trade the doge for USDT and then send it out of the exchange to convert it to any coin of your choice on a reputed exchange you sent it to.

HitBTC is one of the exchanges that is unrecommendable, they usually freeze customer's accounts and also have exorbitant transaction fees which is very high even for altcoins. So far you will still convert back to doge, you can look for exchange that support digibyte and doge, then you can convert to digibyte on HitBTC and then to doge on another exchange you transfer digibyte to. Digibyte fee was still less on the exchange when I was using it, if compared to other altcoins.

I have used HitBTC before until I joined this forum to know how the exchange is not worth it io be used.

Make sure you know the amount it will be converted to in USD and relate it to your doge price before converting it, if HitBTC wants to cheat you, do not convert, you will have no option than to wait until the withdrawal is working good again.

I am still surprised that there are still those who use these sites that users have given up using since 1017/2018 and which had lost their credibility a long time ago. These platforms have never been interested in having a good reputation and rely in their activity on the market’s lack of these services. I, like others, was one of the users of these platforms in the early years, and I think I am like many who did not face problems using them, but this does not confirm their integrity at all. When I read the complaints and most of the reviews, I find it very unfortunate.
This is not a new surprise because there are other platforms of the same type that have been proven to be involved in many suspected scams, but they are still active and certainly have their fans.

They have taken(stolen) me $20 few days ago for the inactivity fee in DOGEs. They took me 223.74 DOGE, that is to say they've used the global price market and not a the Hitbtc price, it would have been 2000+ Doges otherwise. Why they've done that if they are not able to sell DOGE elsewhere?  Huh For me, it shows they are easily able to withdraw DOGE in order to sell them OTC or on other exchanges. It's a proof of their dishonesty and their scam. BTW where is the chat now? I don't see it anymore.

The rate of insincerity in that exchange isn't what you should go trade or even make deposit over there, due to their behavior people don't like trading over there and even if there are any thing to trade there I would rather use p2p to trade with someone else over here than going to make deposit of my precious fund there.

That is the number of exchange I won't refer someone to go trade, a friend of mine lost huge amount of money to them because then her phone was stolen and she has to send messages to support to help her deactivate her 2fa after what she did she was asked to submit that last deposit txt or withdraw txt to proof that she was the real owner of the account.

But guess what when she did request for that assistance since is been long and she last all access to her mail and she wasn't able to provide any txt receipt she was denied access and they took her money worth 4k usdt she did all verification required but yet no avail.

Not really sure but it could be anything.

Some sources suggest that the headquarters is in Unit 19, 7/F., One Midtown No.11 Hoi Shing Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, Hong Kong. New Territories also appears on their LinkedIn profile

Under legal information they claim to have been incorporated in the British Virgin Islands

Quite confuising

What amuses me is how HitBTC and Yobit are never sued or sanctioned by the so-called protectors of customers SEC, yet there are known widespread scam reports but instead they go for Kraken, Binance, coinbase they are trying to be good.

Every time DOGE goes up in price, something like this happens. HitBTC has been considered untrustworthy for quite a while now; I also don't know how they manage to stay afloat & haven't gone bankrupt already (I guess just through sheer theft of coins).

After almost three years of doge withdrawals locked on this "exchange" I think we can say this is one of the longest ongoing scams in the crypto industry. Unfortunately I have many DOGE locked there because of greed as in the very day they locked the wallet there was a good arbitrage opportunity. Now the price is almost 1/10 of the real price and those doge are surely lost.

Yeah that's a bummer. They want you to sell your coins (that they don't have) at a deep discount while at the same time are attempting to trick others into depositing to take advantage of the supposed arbitrage opportunity, which doesn't really exist. Sucks.

Those monthly fees, High withdrawal fees, holding user funds hostage for those who have "failed" to pass their stupid KYC verification procedure and probably profiting from the low price of Doge in their platform.
Imagine they sell the doge off the market in other exchanges and keep low buying orders on HitBTC that keep getting filled. That's a huge profit margin. That is how they manage to keep in business, sadly.
It's certainly what they are doing, for sure so I don't know why Winstar78 think they've not enough funds to cover possible customer's withdrawals. It's not the first time I read this rumor. But even if it was true, they had way enough time to cover the gap by buying DOGEs of desperate users selling their bags 10 times cheaper than the market price.  Undecided
I still wonder what to do, though.

Are those informations true?

I really wonder how could they still stay in business for so long, no one talks about this. And the final part of the scam is they apply a fee every month from your wallet if you don't do trades for 6 months.

Of course if you comment about this on their reddit they ban you. And, they disabled chat on telegram some time after this scam, and turned into a "channel" with only useless announcements.

this scam should have had more visibility.

When I saw January 16, I thought it was a 2 weeks old topic. Unfortunately after reading the thread I figured out it was a thread from last year. And I have to note that in one year nothing has changed. Deposits for Doge coins are still open (without any warning) but for unknown reasons withdrawals are still closed. They claim the wallet to be in maintenance but my coins left the deposit address for a bigger wallet in few minutes. If they are able to move them like that why they can't send them to the customers?

Have you tried to open the system monitor page about what they are saying? If you face such type of issue then are you able to sell your doge coin? If you can sell your dogecoin then sell on the and buy from another website. It will make you a little loss. The updates happened a long ago there is no reason to hold the fund for these types of time.
Yes of course, I looked at their so called "system monitor" and they just say that the withdrawals are "offline" without ETA neither explanations. I just saw in their ANN thread that the wallet is in maintenance since April 2021 actually...  Undecided

We can sell them on their spot market for sure, but the buying orders are just 10x times below the current prices of the market if you see what I mean. BTW if someone trusts them and doesn't bother to wait, he can buy Doges at a very cheap price there.

Same case with Yobit.io, their Doge coin wallet has been "under maintenance" for I think 2 or 3 years now, but the depositing part is OK. Withdrawing doge is the problem. There are so many similarities between HitBTC and Yobit when it comes to wallet maintenance and very high withdrawal fees.

People should completely stop using both exchanges.

I recently deposited 15147 Dogecoins onto HitBTC, At this time 16/01/2022 they are worth $2,767.25, i use Dogecoins for the cheap sending fees and most exchanges use this currency. I was not expecting a price manipulation of $666.00 when i received the dogecoins on the website.
I tried to withdraw my coins back onto another exchange and received this message " Withdrawals for this cryptocurrency are offline. Please refer to the System Monitor page for updates. " . Okay I'm not worried at this point as most exchanges have wallet maintenance from time to time, but then i scrolled through the internet and i see this exchange has been having issues for a very long time with their dogecoin withdrawals
and many many angry customers. You would think they would disable Dogecoin deposits! especially when this has been a problem for what seems a year, so i reach out to them through email i get this message

They have kept trading open so you can exchange dogecoin without any problem. But the most surprising thing here is that the rate on hitbtc is several times lower than the market price of dogecoin. This is a totally trap set by the hitbtc team for their customers, and the OP has fallen into that trap and now has no choice but to incur huge losses.

This issue of Hitbtc to withdrawal of $DOGE start since last year and I'm surprised that they still didn't fixed the problem. One thing I doubt about this accusation is how the heck OP will deposit huge amount of Dogecoin to Hitbtc without checking the price of the order book. There's a lot of top tier exchange like Binance and Kucoin that accepts $DOGE with the updated price yet he still deposit on Hitbtc with lower rate.

Coincidence? OFC Not.

OP bought cheap $DOGE  to hitbtc and he is using this scam accusation to push Hitbtc to release his $DOGE(as if hitbtc will read here) that he bought cheap. He is just trying to make a quick profit by selling it on other exchange.

Check reference on how long does Hitbtc have problem on DOGE withdrawal: https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/q7fh0d/doge_withdrawal/

This is interesting turn of event, I have to admit that such possibility didn't cross my mind, and judging from OP's effort to find the end of this situation --which I'll say pretty minimum because after they posted the opening post, they're not commenting or gives any other follow ups like they're not too interested or absorbed into this matter, although their fund is the one at risk here-- it is quite a possible scenario.

So, dfbtc, just to clear the air here and be sure of your position, can you please show us the TX details from your address to hitbtc?

Hi thank you for replying, i have only created this post for more awareness because it is not clear what this exchange is doing. I can see many unhappy customers who are not being told about this

Oh no, not HitBTC. I do not even want to read about what's happening to the OP but it should be pretty bad. I've had a traumatising experience with them that I luckily got out from without a loss (They basically requested my Facebook account and proceeded to my withdrawal after they've seen I was an M.D.), but it definitely was a mistake using them in the first place. That was more than a year ago, didn't touch it since.

There is a good chance that what you suspect will come true. The OP has so far not shared any evidence to show that he actually made the deposit. As a result its activities are being questioned here, since the problem of dogecoin withdrawal was already on hitbtc. Op may not know that hitbtc's reputation in this forum is already bad and they left the forum long ago. So such an attempt will not bring good results for him.

And forcing their users to sell their Doge at $0.043
I have gone to coinmarketcap and I have seen that the price of dogecoin on the  HitBTC is less than 30% of the real (current) price. It is something like a stupid rate which usually shown bogus site like yobit.

First of all, sorry for your loss. What would happen if the price of the coin increase instead of decrease? I do not think you would blame for increasing the price. Now regarding the update, I do not think you are not new on the internet. So, you should not forget that this site also may require few maintenance.

I am not promoting the site or I am not taking part of the site. I am just providing my opinion.

And What if an exchanger claims that they doing wallet maintenance for a year now? would you believe that? I was thinking why HitBTC has the lowest trading price of Doge? Somehow I forget that. I am happy that I didn't fall for that. This is a Scam. They accept deposits from others and have the Doge on their wallet. And forcing their users to sell their Doge at $0.043. I would like to ask you please read the whole thread and posts which is 1 page.
You will understand what's going on. I don't know if HitBTC uses Bitcointalk or they have an ANN. If it exists and OP Creates a Flag, I guess a lot of DT will support his flag.

This is a totally trap set by the hitbtc team for their customers, and the OP has fallen into that trap and now has no choice but to incur huge losses.

If you read the entire thread --which just one page-- you'll understand that this although this option is most possible to take, it came at a very high cost because the rate hitbtc put for doge/usdt is way lower than other exchange, which also far lower than the initial value of money he deposited on that exchange

HitBTC is a "no go" for me. I can't recount how many times my account with HitBTC has been hacked. The fortunate thing is that I didn't store any funds there.

If you recover your funds, then you have to be really thankful.

Out of curiosity and perhaps could be a beneficial knowledge for future reference or other users who stumbled upon this thread, do you mind to give a bit more context? Where's this $666 came from? A deposit fee?
That's the price gap between hitbtc and other exchanges but according to your screenshot, the gap must be far higher. I myself haven't checked DOIGHE price in hitbtc though but I'm well aware of this issue since the beginning. It started when DOGE got the first pump. After that, they have manipulated this and scammed thousands of its clients in a way that no one even complain about the valid cases to anyone. This update shit doesn't take more than a few days but they are still refusing to fix it which clears the issue that they are actually scamming people by forcing them to sell the DOGHE with lower price.

A long time ago I used HITBTC, just forgot how long. There are fucking fees and limitations of minimum withdrawal. That's the reason I forgot about Hitbtc and never go back there. They are scamming traders directly. Why fucking departs working where withdrawal isn't working. They deserve legal action but who will do it? They could make millions just from Doge, they have consciously suspended Doge withdrawal. I am wondering why OP choose that scan exchange where many reputed exist on the market.

after my second time of using the exchange their operation weren't smooth and transparent to me so i stopped using them for trade and anything more, what gets me angry most is their price manipulations.
Few weeks ago, a friend of my called me about this same exchange with 2Fa issues and she having serious funds but they refused her to let in and make withdrawal instead asking her for deposits id's since she started using the exchange till date. She was like how could i be able to get all the requirements.. to cut story short.
she abandoned the exchange with their issues.

I have used this exchange many times before and have also encountered many unexpected troubles. I think it's important to know the details of an exchange before using it. Before depositing funds in any other exchange, it is important to know whether the deposit has a deposit and withdraw option in that exchange.

Since you are facing a problem now, there is nothing to do but wait until the withdrawal of this dogecoin is opened and keep the funds in this shit exchange. Because no one would want to sell at such a big loss.

Make sure you know the amount it will be converted to in USD and relate it to your doge price before converting it, if HitBTC wants to cheat you, do not convert, you will have no option than to wait until the withdrawal is working good again.

They are cheating the rate, it's been significantly lower for a while now, as can be seen by comparing to monthly graph I pulled from binance and the image next below. Hitbtc's doge has been below 0.01 since July or so, while binance's barely touched 0.01.

Although if we want to give them benefits of doubt, the rate difference is probably due to other users of their exchange desperately tried to liquidate their doge into other token and move it out of hitbtc at the lowest possible rate because of the said withdrawal issue, thus creating a dump.

maybe I'm seeing it wrong, but the doge price on hitbtc on all pairs is very high compared to any other exchange, [...]

Damn, this exchange still sucks from the first time I saw it. If you are forced to want to withdraw it in another coin, you will lose much less value. They really make a lot of profit from this, forcing users to sell doge on orders they make themselves because users have no other choice.

[...]

Yes, you're seeing it wrong. DOGE/USDT on cmc is averaged $0.1665 as per today, January 18th, while hitbtc's rate is --as noorman0 said, 0.041.

The way I see it, it's a lose-lose situation. dfbtc can either severely cutloss by converting to USDT or XRP or other tokens like others suggested and withdrawn them from hitbtc --and preferably leave them for good-- or wait until doge price worldwide reached the same value as hitbtc, just for the sake of ---crooked-- peace of mind, because this scenario is no different than the cutloss, you still loss the outstanding value you initially had upon depositing, because I don't think they'll open their withdrawal anytime soon. A quick stroll on google shows me they've been having this "issue" for 9 months

I used them before I dont have any problem but when they start requiring KYC compliance, I didn't use that exchange anymore.
That exchange platform has always had wallet maintenance in any blockchain wallet and I didn't expect until now that still their problem and it could be the reason people keep avoiding this exchange.

My question is, is your Dogecoin can be tradeable to other coins like XRP if you care about the fees or directly to Bitcoin.  I so, divert it into the other coin and withdraw it to your wallet.  If you don't have that option, there's nothing you can do is to wait until the withdrawal becomes available.

if all people took a few minutes to do research before using this exchange I doubt that until today they would continue to exist, they would have gone bankrupt due to lack of customers. unfortunately people don't do research before using these exchanges

I use them to exchange some tokens listed only there. It has been for a long time. As I remember due to their very high Bitcoin withdrawal fee, I always turned everything into a doge and move it from this exchange. but that was at a time when the value of the Doge was much lower.
as far as I remember many exchanges stopped Doge transactions when the hype started, Binance also at one moment. many never even returned Doge chain, (like Hitbtc) and I tend to believe that they misused users' funds. due to the high value, releasing these funds would cause them losses.

Now you have two options.

1) Withdraw your funds by converting your dogecoins into USDT or any other stable coin to Binance and then convert your usdt into dogecoin and withdraw it to your personal wallet.

2) leave your funds to the mercy of the hitbtc and wait until they allow you to withdraw your funds. Which is not good in my opinion.

" Dear Trader,

Thank you for reaching out! We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

Our routine technical maintenance required us to temporarily shut down DOGE operations on HitBTC.

Currently we do not have an ETA for when the software update is going to be completed. You are welcome to check status of operations on our System Monitor page.

Once the update is over, DOGE operations will be up and running better than before and you will be able to initiate a withdrawal normally.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Have a good day!

Best regards,
HitBTC Team "

I don't know if they are encourage me to exchange my now worthless coins and pretending to be helpful or if they actually are trying to fix this issue!

All i know is, if i scroll through the internet i see many angry customers and we all get copy and paste emails saying the same thing, and no actual support like, do not exchange your now worthless Dogecoins for other currencies until we solve this issue, our technical department needs lots more training with fixing wallet issues such as " Maybe integrating Dogecoin wallet upgrades " and not providing customers real support and encouraging customers to exchange making customers believe they are pocketing $2000.00 fees.
Anyway i will leave you with another helpful email they sent me.

" Thank you for the follow-up!

We totally understand how frustrating it must be to not be able to withdraw your DOGE for such a long period of time.

Sometimes technical maintenance requires additional effort and time. I am sorry to admit that in this case we need a while longer to complete the work on the DOGE wallet.

We will notify you by email when the DOGE operations are available again. Meanwhile, you are welcome to explore some of the other markets available at HitBTC. We support more than 500 coins and tokens.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
