Here comes again. I am curious why so many people want to withdraw more than 1 bitcoin in one transaction? Why don't they splitting into two or more transaction? I guess that if they can do for at least 3 transactions, it will not make the alarm will make a noise sound in the exchanges, so they are busy to check your account.

Once again, we get a lesson in the withdraw. It's better to withdraw in a small amount several times than to withdraw in one transaction and make sure that we choose the coins with a small fee like waves, doge, or else.

https://twitter.com/officialmcafee this is how you contact him, he months ago seems to be gathering a group to fight HitBTC

Well, I don't know if it's good or bad not being the only person with issues with hitbtc, I will most definitely contact him to see what they plan on doing.

I don't think McAfee would help you. He's still running from tax violation iirc?
Anyway, if you still can't receive your funds back, maybe it's time to call your lawyer.
HitBTC is already famous for shady things like this, so their reputation is not really at stake it seems.

Contact all the information members have given you don't give up yet let them know that you have an existing thread here about your issue and it could harm their reputation as a good exchange, if they will not resolve it then come back to us so we can all voted and confirmed this as a scam exchange and should not be trusted by traders.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
There have been several scam accusations and compalaints made against them, not only here but also in different platforms (it will show up when you google it) . I can't totally say it's a scam exchange, but I'd rather stay away and play safe than take risk.
They usually do random picking games, there are a lot if users who were scammed or has an issue with them but there are still some vouch them in which some people never faced any issue with them. I used this exchange but never faced any issue or something similar, I just stop using them when I see/read too many scam accusations against them.

To OP maybe you can message this guy from hitBTC https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/hitbtc-194708, was active 2 days ago.

If you just exchange your coins and request a withdraw right away, they will really consider it suspicious considering the amount. I think other exchange will do the same (ask for KYC).

What did they say in their last reply? If you have submitted all the documents needed, then you just need to wait. Tbh, I consider you lucky for receiving 2 replies from them within a short time span. It took months for some before receiving even a first reply.

I'm still waiting for a response, but I'm pretty optimistic on hitbtc releasing my account, BC I don't mind going thru KYC but I don't agree with them asking for KYC while blocking my funds. I'll let you guys know what happens next.

Im trying to give you a positive insights here although HitBTC is no doubt doesn't have a good ratings overall in the crypto world.

The documents were just given few days ago. At most of the cases even on a reputable exchanges, sometimes checking takes place for around a week or few. Don't know how the reason why they can't handle within a short period of time.

Don't know what on earth you have chosen HitBTC for such big deposits but no time for regrets now and hope for the best.

Hope you will recover your funds there asap.

This is the third time I've read about hitbtc complaints, and this is not a small amount, it seems no diligence has been done when trading your coins when it should be, they are like Yobi to me, to many alibis when you are trying to withdraw your coins, hope you can resolve your issue and update us please.

This exchange was strongly opposed by Sir John McAfee, this list of new tokens listed on the withdrawal fee is very high. Previously, it has been scandalous, you should not use it.

That's our problems that we do not bother to read terms & conditions of any websites. However I just read their withdrawal policy on term of uses and they have right to ask your personal details (KYC).

Hitbtc really not a good exchange. Although there is lot of accusations but people's are still using. However every exchange have their own fan, may people's like them due to pump dump. Hope they will solve your issue.

The question is:

Why did you use this exchange? when there are much better exchange?

example: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/XMR_BTC

The biggest problem of people who are in the crypto world is underestimate the accusations and comments that other people make. I see many people using HitBtc even reading several negative comments and you know why there are people who still use HitBtc? because some people think that with them it will be different, that with them they will not have problems. But this is a very wrong thought and because of this thought until today there are still shit exchanges like yobit, hitbtc and others

i don't know their kyc policy but most exchange that i know of use 2 btc as the withdrawal limit for non-kyc users. however, judging from hitbtc past history i think you might still have an opportunity to get it back even though it make takes a lot of time. not saying hitbtc is legit or trustable, just saying that they are not as bad as bitebtc or other shitty exchanges.

the documents that they asked for but, still no solution and my bitcoins are locked to this wallet I exchanged monero(XMR) for bitcoins(BTC) and they locked my bitcoins.
