I think the community of Hives are been enthusiastic about freedom and wanted to let Justin understand that community matters and with a strong and dedicated community, a lot can be achieved. This is the power of an open source decentralized system, you try to act against the will of the community, they just move ahead by way of fork.
I really love your answer Lizzy. I resonate with that as well.. The Steemit ecosystem had become a monopoly and freedom was needed.
I love the oneness of the community. It made everything transit smoothly.
But now my question is : Would this community learn from the steemit experience and put community first over personal rewards?
I believe that is what would make the platform valuable. And maybe add one or two more products or features to the ecosystem. Probably implement the SMT feature we've been waiting for so long now.
Bringing on SMTs would trigger mass adoption I'm sure and that would drive value to the ecosystem

What do you think is the future of Hive. Hive forked out of steemit after Justin Sun bought it from Ned Scott and the whole community frowned on this after fears of the platform becoming centralized. Hive was birthed and it's seen a really favorable reception in the crypto community. The price reached an ATH of about $0.9 a week or two ago.
Now do you think Hive would thrive or still end up like steemit in the long run??

The problem is not with the project but the name associated with the project. Justin sun has proved this time that he is not visionary but a mere busniessman who is looking for opportunities to take over projects by hook or crook. I have seen a lot of pump and dump happening with projects where his name pops up. Just wait and watch and the same fate will be for hive as it was for all other projects associated to him.

These questions are hard to answer if it's asking about the future of one coin.  But, let me have my say on this. The coin looks that it has built the volume up and reached the peak just a few days ago. Look to the part of the older days before the peak.
The price of today is still higher than those days, in the short term, it's still profitable to sell if you have bought it during that time. But if you have bought during the peak, you need to wait a little longer.

It's just a matter of time until the price of this fork coin will be going down soon. Hive is still on its early hype and you can expect the same result as BTT. You can see how BTT is going one right now.
I guess we must not bet a lot on the hype of hive coin. That's is a short term hype dude.

I agree with you, HIVE price spiked due to hype around it, even without a working platform yet. Most projects by Sun do well in initial phase (except WIN), then dump as time progresses when the hype dies down. In my opinion, HIVE might end up like steemit. Even though i traded it, I made some profit and took a bow. I might be wrong, just my opinion.

Hive isn't different than Steemit in terms of features and functionality(the only difference is Justin Sun).It has the same problems and flaws.Even their Terms and services and FAQ are copy pasted from Steemit.
There's no improvement.Nothing new there. The "community" just left Steemit and created a "new Steemit".
It seems to me that the blogging community is controlled by a few big whales-the people with most Hive power and if you wanna be successful, you have to make those whales like you.If they hate your content, you have zero chance of success. This is kinda like hidden censorship.
The Hive token is pretty volatile, but I'm not an optimist about crypto blogging platforms. There's no room for growth and 90% of the people prefer video content over articles.

They will do well if they keep building things that are simple to use, safe, decentralized and very useful to people.    I wonder what Cryptocurrency Hive is on now? Steemit or different cryptocurrency? Will be nice if they get people to develop a great ecosystem around its cryptocurrency. It could be the typical independent (but interconnected) Dapps ontop of the cryptocurrency

Steemit wasn't even that successful in the first place, the only ones thriving that community are part of circles jerks and groups of thousanda of followers that even if you are a good author you still won't receive the recognition you want. Hive will be the same as well, the ones who will migrate there already have established their bases and they will continje to thrive. With a small group benefiting from such project I really wouldn't expect much for its price since they are the only ones earning real money in the first place.

I agree with the part of good authors not getting recognition for their writing and just toiling for nothing. A lot of persons got disheartened with that and stopped writing on steemit.
So that means the token price wouldn't have much value in the long run right?

Hmm I think I agree with you a bit.. So does that mean that incentivized blogging projects will not have any success??
If No, what do you think will contribute to it's success?

This coin have been pumped twice, for the first time when it was launched and at that time this coin's price has risen almost 35% and now this coin is pumping again. Seeing on Binance exchange the coin has been increasing for 25% and it will be increase again since we know halving event is close. I don't know much about the feature of this coin, I just only see this coin price movement and look interesting.
