I'm sorry for you loss here. Another expensive lessons to learn in the cryptoverse not to trust someone that is fairly new in the market. If you have time, please follow what @TheUltraElite said, at least you can alarm the forum so that no newbies will fall for their trick.

There is no way for any user to verify this unless the bot is open source and you know how to de-compile and check that. What you can do is check out any reviews on the internet even though they may be paid reviews but well known bots like GunBot have a reputable following and can be used safely. Newly released bots which do not have an open source code are always frowned upon. In short do your own research.
