As a note I have both litecoin and ethereum, it seems eth will surge once July approaches. Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet? I was hoping Litecoin would have shot up sooner so I could get more eth before it decided to shoot up, but oh well.

I think it is better for you to hold on to Ethereum than Litecoin because Ethereum will continue to increase in the next few months. than you hold Litecoin then ethereum better. I say this because I'm also holding ethereum until the end of July.because Ethereum 2.0 will make EThereum continue to improve in the future.

Honestly if were you I would hold more of Ethereum than Litecoin, we both know Ethereum grows faster than Litecoin, I don't understand the reason why Litecoin is so slow at growing in terms of price, but its not the same for eth since it keeps pumping insanely almost every day, after the recent correction last week eth has been able to make a new ATH of $2,800 today but I can't say the say for Litecoin, this reason alone should make you go for eth, although I would also recommend you buy some bnb and hodl too.

both are good choices depending on how your investment plan is. if you think eth price is too high, better keep on holding litecoin. because litecoin still has a greater chance of going up than ethereum. but ethereum is also not that bad either, it could be that eth will rise higher than now if the market trend continues.

I really prefer ethereum, not just because it is second ranked coin, but because it has a great possible future as well. Think about it this way, we are talking about the second biggest coin AND a coin that moved away from 40+ dollars per transaction to now around 6-8 dollars, AND it will have eip 1559 in 14th of July to drop it another 50% at the least (probably more), AND we are talking about in the future becoming eth 2.0 with proof of staking so less people who sell (miners who sell to pay for electricity of their mining operations) and more people buying (for increasing their staking profit).

So long term I am very very bullish on etheruem, it is going to be so simple for it to go up, even there is a bear market and everything falls, I believe eth will not fall as much as others and when it increases back up with another bull it will break above a lot, can see 5k+ very very easily, maybe as much as 10k+ as well.

If you are asking for financial advice you will get the worse from others. Litecoin or Ethereum, who cares basically. Litecoin has done nothing lately and still managed to be priced so high. It doesn't mean anything to me. Meanwhile developments in Ethereum are constant and the network has a huge userbase. I don't think Litecoin is anywhere near the adoption levels of Ethereum.
If we compare only Ethereum and Litecoin, then of course Ethereum is far ahead of its competitor both in development and in growth prospects. But if you look at other top-coins, then Litecoin is quite competitive with them, and it is worth having a certain percentage in your wallet.

It's best to split instead of putting everything inside one basket, you can exchange larger portions of your investment to ETH and
save some for you LTC asset.

Along the way you can use those assets in case there's emergency that you need to work with, you'll not be bother with your ETH
investment if you have other coins inside your wallet.

Do your research and carefully analyze whatever decision you have in mind. It's your money and it's your full responsibility!

Well its very tough question to answer correctly. And i don't think so that anyone can suggest you what to do better than yourself.  I want to ask you what do you want to do? What your research told you? You can do that. Now i want to share my opinion which is no doubt both projects are world top ranked project. So its clear that both project has the power to reach top and give you best profit. Though ethereum has some extra facilities than litecoin which is erc20 based all crypto. Which is gives a little push to grow. But litecoin has less fee than ETH which is plus point. I always support eth. You and others Point of view can different. So you just do by your research. Because money is yours so risk Should be yours too.

No one can tell you which one is better, ETH or LTC. It is difficult to advise anyone to buy a coin, because no one knows where the market trend will go in the coming days. But by observing the market, you can understand how Eth is currently performing.

If we compare this year’s price with last year’s price of eth , we can see how remarkably ETH has come to this position and is still on the rise. The ETH community is still thinking positive which indicates that this uptrend in eth could be even longer. So it seems to me that ETH can perform better in the coming days.

two altcoins that are good at cryptocurency so that are difficult to predict, Litecoin and Ethereum are highly demanded altcoins and both are from good platforms. but my advice for now is that you better hold Litecoin because I am sure that in the future Litecoin will find a new Ath with a high increase.

I think that it is too late for your to convert you other coins or Litecoin to Ethereum as the price is currently trading around $2700 and it is expected that the price could reach over $3000 once the upgrade is implemented and the price of transaction charges starts to fall. The only aspect you need to consider is that the price has risen to levels that we have not seen before but if you want to take a risk i would say ETH as it could rally from this position than Litecoin.

if you already have both (Ethereum and Litecoin), then you don't need to bother, because my advice is that you better HOLD both of them and of course you will still get a profit if the price of one of them increases, because when you exchange Litecoin to Ethereum and the price of Litecoin has increased very high, then of course you will definitely regret not holding your Litecoin and instead exchange it, therefore I suggest you to still hold both of them.

I still have both altcoins, but I'm considering exchanging Litecoin to Ethereum.

During last 2 weeks Bitcoin has lost a lot, but Ethereum managed not only to recover quickly, but to show also a growth, while Bitcoin still can not get back to $60k level. By looking on Litecoin it is seen that it has lost and returned to $250+ level. Or basically did not gain anything, while Ethereum did. Not to mention that Ethereum blockchain managed to reduce transaction fees several times.

I think you should keep both of these coins, as these are all major coins in the current market especially ETH. I think if the next time the altcoin boom follows what everyone hopes for a season, the ETH LTC will have a huge increase.

Ethereum has more applications and uses more so keep the majority of Ethereum in your wallet. Litecoin is also good crypto to hold but it certainly cannot grow as fast or as strong as Ethereum.
The bull run isn't over yet so keep holding your litecoin or keeping two to make sure you don't miss out on profits from either crypto.

I really believe LTC is a very good coin. however, based on my considerations, between the two coins, I prefer to focus on ethereum. however, the price has already gone up, and LTC has not shown any potential upside. My advice is, if the amount of LTC you are holding isn't that much, then switch it all over to ethereum. Well, DWYOR.

LTC is also good for long-term hold in my opinion. If you look at the pattern of the increase is not too high and has not reached ATH. for ETH itself, it was rumored long before that it would be booming this year.

Both are good altcoins but my top priority would be Ethereum without a second thought. Since the bull run starts last year. I have not seen much movement in Litecoin to date it is moving very slowly, on the other hand, Ethereum is booming at quite a good pace and I still believe it will move much more in the coming days as compared to Litecoin. If I were you I would definitely exchange it for Ethereum a long time back.

One thing you should know is that you shouldn't act on anyone's opinion in this crypto space, because when you do and things go sideways you only be the one to lose your money, so it's important for you to DYOR then decide for yourself what is best, but I will suggest you get more eth rather than LTC, because imo LTC has a slowly rate in terms of growth whereas ETH is faster in terms of growth and  it has a whole ecosystem and a much larger community than LTC, if you keep waiting for LTC to shoot up first then you might buy eth at $3,000+ very soon, ETH is pumping hard right now, the best time to buy was at the recent dip.

Just swap it to ETH if you think ETH has more prospect than litecoin which rumoured to have been abandoned (cmiiw since I've never try to look into any news regarding litecoin) and smart contract coin like ETH definitely more popular these days, you can get defi and dapps meanwhile with litecoin you can use it for sending money and pay bill I guess?
Not to mention development in ethereum is really active, try to see their repo so many contributors and the community itself actively discussing about this coin, even the price right now is kinda bullish because more and more people coming back to ETH after the gas fee has decreased significantly.

If you are okay holding both coins for long term then I don't think there is any need to bother which one will grow more than the other, but if you are considering price as well as gains, then I think you can convert Litecoin to Ethereum taking into account the way Ethereum is projected to grow due to upcoming developments. One thing is that, in this bull market, everyone is trying to maximize whatever opportunity they are presented with, hence the reason I think you are asking the question. Lastly, some coins are bound to grow more than others, and I think this is also the scenario with Litecoin and Ethereum.

If the profit from ETH is enough to satisfy you then I think you can move up a little to LTC, I personally like both of these coins. But I differ from you that I only keep ETH, next time ETH will have a lot of new updates. So no doubt I firmly believe that ETH will increase a lot in the near future.

I prefer ethereum consider ethereum will be getting a big update in the future and it will be moving to the POS consensus. This will decrease the inflation, give hardcap to the supply, increase the block size, and there will be so many new features to come in the ethereum platform. That could be a game-changer for you. I think that so many people will pick ethereum rather than litecoin.
So far ethereum offers more utility use cases compared with litecoin. That makes sense if ethereum is superior compared with litecoin.

Both litecoin and ethereum are in a good position during the bull run in the crypto market. But litecoin's future is going to be better for ethereum's price increase if you keep holding on by investing the price will go up further but now ethereum has pumped a lot after bitcoin it would be better to invest in ethereum. The value of this currency will increase further almost every coin broke his record during the bull run.

Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet?
If you have spare money to invest. Then why would you not trade some and hold it until you are sure what to do?
Having litecoin means more money, because litecoin is still a promising coin until this date.

Exchange it to ethereum could make you get less reward during this season to be honest.

Litecoin is simply climbing step by step , look maintaining more than 250$ value while ETH is also keeping the 2000$ range .

I would rather see the two coins we own grow together rather than have to be a spectator for one of them. the potential of LTC and ETH are as good as both dragons, especially LTC is like a sleeping dragon when waking up will shake the crypto market

Perhaps, you can trade your litecoin pair ethereum in Binance, so you can have a chance to increase your litecoin or have ethereum as the profit. But that is only if you have skills in trading, so you can see how big your chance to trade litecoin pair ethereum. Litecoin will have a new ATH soon and perhaps, and you need to be patient to wait for that time to comes.

But I guess you need to research for more which way you can do, so you don't just follow other people's suggestions and you know why you do that.

So does Litecoin also have the potential to strengthen and pump hard? I am sure that the two assets he has chosen are investments that will not give you a disappointment. Currently, ethereum may be more aggressive in its increasing market. but LTC also has the same potential. now, ETH may become more expensive with the increase in adoption of new projects increases.

and some Litecoin enthusiasts who predict that the next few months or the end of this year will increase significantly.
the decision is yours and everyone gives you good advice, do your research and find accurate news for developments over the next few months, I think all coins are good to have in the long run and to avoid worry and panic when the coins you hold have not developed significantly.

If there are only two coins to choose from, then I would prefer Ethereum over Litecoin. The number of Ethereum users is very high, so having ETH in the wallet will be safer. In addition, we can use Ethereum to access Uniswap or other DeFi which is also very helpful for us in printing more money.
If you could consider BNB again, maybe I would prefer BNB over Ethereum.

Litecoin is OG. This is already proven since the beginning, we all know that Litecoin is forked of Bitcoin. Which we can consider an alternative to Bitcoin for payments.
So, Litecoin and Ethereum are totally different.
And besides that, there are a lot of people who started to talk about Ethereum will flip Bitcoin, especially if you take a look at ETH/BTC price, it started to moving up.

If we compare the GAIN PERCENTAGE for Ethereum and Litecoin since last year, Ethereum gained too much compare to Litecoin. So, it's your choice...

It's hard to say consider both were reliable coin bug you could take a look at the development progress that already made by litecoin and ethereum. The fact that if the ethereum is very active developing the platform while i rarely seen litecoin was getting a big announcement. The institutions are interested with ethereum rather than litecoin. Hodl both Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Just to be safe. You won't be sorry for doing so. Litecoin (LTC) having not yet registered a new ATH is not a problem. In fact, it is a factor that should be considered. That would mean that it still has a bigger room for further price increases in the near future. Remember Litecoin (LTC) is one of the most respected altcoin, probably next to Ethereum (ETH). It doesn't affect much your portfolio if you allocate a significant amount to these two.

So far we know that these two coins have a large volume of transactions, but people also know that Ethereum has a next project which is sure to make the ETH price soar even more. Even though Ethereum's main goal is to reduce transaction fees, with such projections the cryptocurrency community will be very busy looking for Ethereum to try the Ethereum 2.0 flavor.

Litecoin is very useful for transactions, but LTC will continue to be like that and show less significant price changes when we compare it to Ethereum in terms of usability. We can find Ethereum more useful and has more strong community support which means that Ethereum will never die even though the transaction fees are much higher than what it is today. And the positive trend is actually approaching Ethereum which continues to bring in many new users when competing with BSC.

With the recent adoptions of businesses in the cryptocurrency world, it's most likely to go with ETH.
*This is just my personal opinion and not to be taken as financial advice

Many people are taking more ETH to their wallets and their portfolios, allocating more to it than BTC. I have read and watched a couple of videos with different opinions on what could be profitable in the coming years. I believe that would be ETH, and we all know that it's one of the cryptocurrencies that have a lot of projects underneath it and is currently most used in addition to NFT's, etc.

You shouldn't think about it too much if your holdings, LTC, wouldn't reach ATH yet. Maybe there's no current impact at the moment. It's one of the OG coins worth holding as well, but you might miss other opportunities. You have to be prepared for that as well.

Litecoin mostly just copies bitcoin. They've talked about adding confidential transactions for a long time but they have yet to make it happen. The only reason some people prefer litecoin is because of it's low fees. That is not a good enough reason to hold it for a long period. We can't predict where the price will go but we do know that it's development is practically non-existent. There is no good reason to expect a price pump that will be sustainable.

today ethereum started to move and the price has reached 2700 $, buy eth now is not a good choice. So it's better to hold LTC, and be patient until the situation gets better. after all, ltc still hasn't reached ATH, so maybe when the market improves, ltc's turn will go up high. or rather than exchanged for eth, more profitable bnb. bnb is currently hot and prices could still go up. so bnb is also a better choice.

It's hard to give financial advise in this community as we might give you wrong information false hope.

But If I'm in your shoes, I wouldn't touch any, on the contrary, I would continue to buy and accumulate more, specially during a dip because we are still in the bullish cycle and people are very greedy.

So no need to panic, just play smart and you will be already, no need to regret that Litecoin is not shooting up. You don't know maybe at the end of this bull run, Litecoin might have gain significantly.

Ethereum is more stable and the community is huge. There more upcoming projects from ethereum and all of them are supported by many people.
So i think it's a good decision to convert litecoin to ethereum for a long term investment

Converting ethereum into the litecoin is farrr better https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-on-a-high-after-european-investment-bank-s-121m-digital-bond-news

This is not financial advice but that's only my opinion. If you are thinking you have a different opinion than me and then DYOR. IMO if ethereum has a very good fundamental compared with litecoin.
I think this must be the reason.

You shouldn't ask some stranger for financial advice really, if you truly believe that litecoin could go up then it's all up to your decision however I don't think in july there gonna be any massive pump for ETH considering this berlin hardfork alone already helps eth decrease the fee to 40gwei so the london hardfork that takes place in july I assume won't be as impactful anymore but there's always possibility for that right? not to mention if it could further decrease the fee which usually costs $8 right now to $2-$3, however ETH definitely have better potential than litecoin, it even goes up when bitcoin gets a flash dump but then again that's just my opinion and eth price is already high enough, take it with grain of salt and definitely don't consider it as a financial advice. Just create an analyzation yourself and make up decision based on it.

Nobody will advice you on what to do, but you can see for yourself that ethereum will be better, but as for me I will prefer binance coin also. But as to your question, better to go for ethereum which is better because it iis using a smart contract that makes many coins to be using its blockchain and yet getting increase marketcap to ethereum when investing in such coins called DeFi, Binance coin also is increasing in value recently, much to the reason of its smart contract too, especially when binance smart chain was created. Litecoin seem like bitcoin, but not bitcoin because it is just an altcoin, the reason it is not performing, also you can noticed that about bitcoin cash and such coins that are copying bitcoin.
