Hi HODL / FUD / LAMBO a whole new Crypto Lexicon

HODL- stands for HOLD. It is used by investors to hold on to their investment during tough times.
FUD- stands for Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. It can happen in the market and completely crash it due to rumors spread across social media.
LAMBO- Lambo stands for Lamborghini.

Yes, it is definitely a word coined by another bitcointalk member. Even though it was a typo, on a broader level, it is like going against the traditional beliefs that is like being a rebel and supporting new innovations having the potential to optimise the traditional process of dealing with money. Similarly in Bitcoin are cryptocurrencies, anyone with a traditional mindset might not be able to cope up with it and hence hodl is going against the flow and taking the risk.

1. It’s based on you , our aim is very clean , that earns money .
2. When you find the project has some problem , selling is the best way , but if the project still in promising , l think you should hold them .

Hodl is the worst running gag ever. People do this by convention because of a typo from one drunk person (as legends say).

I prefer hold instead of hodl.

In early bitcoin forums, someone posted a message that spelled the word "hold" wrong, and readers interpreted it as an acronym "hold on for dear life," Saddington explains. "Now, it's become a meme of sorts, so that when the prices are highly volatile, bitcoin buyers say 'HODL!'" Saddington describes himself as "a long-term HODLER."

Hey every one, i don'l understand people used HODL, according to the Oxford dictionary, HOLD means correct?

HODL does not make sense in the dictionary.

Tks

Another explanation: HODL = Hold On for Dear Life
