I still have so many alts resting in my ERC-20 wallet.
Some altcoins are making a lot of noise but I think it was just a pull from the ETH and Bitcoin pump. They really had done nothing for their market to go up.

Now there is NFT craze. So again, the investment will be divided leaving the altcoins hanging.
I suggest to not expect too much or just also diversify the investment.

Same here, I have lot of altcoins that are in erc20 tokens, and I'm hearing that NFT and I guess I need to make some research about it. If this altcoins season is really legit, it should not only be limited to a certain platform, I guess ETH tokens should not be left behind, therefore we should remain optimistic that an altcoin season will save our worthless tokens.

Instead, I switch to holding many long-lasting, high-stability altcoins: ETH, LTC, TRX, XRP. Among them, TRX had x3 at this point. I will sell half of TRX to continue choosing an altcoin to invest under the Hold standard. Polygon seems to be doing well and there are interesting trends in the community.

I believe we are going to see the alt season being this, eventually people will realize this for sure. I get that people want even more profits, some people missed their chances of making a profit, and that's understandable, not everyone can make a profit in every market, some people either lost or missed but that doesn't mean that it should go up.

I am surrounded by people who are fresh to crypto world, and those people in my life end up talking about coins all the time, I am employed in the crypto world and even I do not talk about crypto that much, and they are hoping for like 10x returns as well, on top of the whole profits we made during this period as well. I do not know how that could be possible, but I do realize why they are doing something like that because they are upset over missing their chances and want to be able to make a profit now.

Are you saying that altcoin prices have risen? Check most of the altcoins ATH and you would see that only some have updated, but some are still not. The so called altseason has started only for new altcoins and they are just reaching their ATH. It is not particularly an altseason, but just a grow. Not necessarily that its already started, there are still coins that didn’t show a good improvement, what we can do now is to take advantage of the times that these altcoin is being actively traded to make profit. I don’t do hold much now of altcoins and just focuses in rebuying when theres a opportunity to trade since its more profitable than holding longer.

Time to hold altcoins and being brave with their price. Don't sell your altcoins if price won't increase 3x, 5x. Obviously, here I am saying about old altcoins, not new altcoins. With new altcoins, it requires huge works to investigate and confirm that they are not scam altcoins.

If you invest into new scam altcoins, their smart contracts can be compromised. Their developers can abandon their projects after few months. If you hold those tokens, you will get 1/2, 1/5 of your capital.

If im not mistaken the last alts season happened early of 2018, so its been 3 years already. During that time bitcoin is declining after reaching its ath while altcoins shows significant growth.

We might used to seeing btc subside to give way for alts but I think its not going to be the case this time. After bitcoin skyrocket altcoins followed especially the popular coins particularly eth.

So I think it is also possible to witness alts season even bitcoin is not turning down, well lets just wait and see since we are entering Q2.

I don't think if we are almost on alt season just because of those two coins were increasing high, what about other altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot.. if these top altcoins showing a good increase just like BTT and Pundi X maybe the alt season will happen. We are at 2017 ico coin getting pump for a while and then in q2 and 3 we will see bitcoin bullish again untill end of this year, then we enter altcoin seasoned ( usually very old altcoin like LTC, Monero, dash ) will creat their new all time high.

It seems like what you are saying is not like what many people hope that this year is where altcoins will increase. All triggered by the presence of new coins that are included in the best ranking yet there are also altcoins that have not been taken into account, are also in the best rankings too.

all hope that with bitcoin reaching a point of stability there is an opportunity for altcoins to move, and indeed there will be many obstacles that could occur on the way to increasing.

Because it seems like a normal bullish of the growth rate due to the demands.. As you see bitcoin still hanging above.. So probably it's impossible to happen? . I agree, I have always said the same thing to people and they do not care or they just ignore. Last time it happened altcoins were low and bitcoin got high, when bitcoin reached 15k+ price ethereum was still around few hundred, it went to 1.5k after bitcoin already got high, this year it is different, ethereum has nearly 2k ath now and it is already above 1.7k and increased over 10x during the same period bitcoin went 10x as well, it used to be "bitcoin increases first, altcoin increases later" but this year they all increased together, look at how much bnb increased just in the past 3 months.

So that means we are doing fine, there is no alt season anymore because everything goes up together and goes down together, there is no first and last there is all together movements. This is why I do not think that we will have alt season but we can still see it go up all together.

I can't really see the season coming in green for the alts, in fact, many projects that were supposed to be authentic have not yet emerged, they have all the conditions to do so because bitcoin is in an uptrend, if ETH has grown so much from price and the alts no, it is strange, I do not know if it is because of the number of new buyers and investors in BTC.

^ Because the fact that as of now altcoin was depends on the dominance of BTC and you are right, we are already in altcoin season.
I did not see any sign that when BTC was down altcoin will up, BTC and ETH are almost the same have terrible fees, they are the leading coins and I think the opposition movement against them will not happen. Probably those who increase more than 50% were in manipulation altcoins, it most likely they are on pump and dump. Nevertheless, this is my perception, we still don't know what will happen next.

What happen then is just a flash switch of investors decision, altcoin season usually happens after the bullish market is over, the market blood bath and then it will be altcoin season.
The reason why it was called altcoin season is that the altcoin market trend is what determines the whole crypto market's bullish momentum.

there were coins that had risen since last year like Vechain so tracing back when it started i guess the alt season kicked a bit last year but are only picking the ones with huge potentials such as Link, DOT and a few more like Aave.

i couldn't expect it from BTT because it can easily be gotten when you have a bittorent client on your computer. if you keep downloading, since 2018 you could have hundred of thousands of it already.

I agree that saying it is shitcoin, even though I have made a lot of profits from this coin, but that doesn't mean I believe it and coin it is a good product in this space.

Maybe the altcoin season is preparing and people are hoping for bigger growth, but for someone like me who has been sticking to this market even when it falls into a bear phase I still make a good profit. I have bought and kept these coins for a very long time, whether the altcoin season is happening or not, I have been making a lot of profit from these coins.

Yeah, more altcoins have shown good rise in the price. Today it is pundi X and BitTorrent. I came across lots of altcoins that have begun its bullish trend from the day around 20th of previous month. Within this one month time period lot of altcoins have shown more than 100% growth. Few of which I found are dent, OMG Network.

Currently I am holding bnb because next month there will be a halving, assuming everything is going sideway bnb should gain another upward movement before the burn happens.
other than that I am thinking about buying two or three digit altcoin such as xvg, dgb, or top 200 cryptocurrency.
if we are really going to see alt season this year, getting those low caps should bring a massive return. I hope so.

We already here in the altcoins season but only some of the coins are gaining its price which is the potential coin and the coin who did not gain in the last 3 months are still have chances because we are in the first quarter of the year and if you have the coins who are possible to increase the value in the future you will gain more profit but you need to wait if you are willing.

PundiX, that makes me surprise to see the pump coming, and the price still at the uptrend until now. From $0.0019 increase to $0.0074 and still, have a chance to increase, and maybe the price can break $0.01 soon. BTT is also growing and makes many people surprised, but BTT still needs more time to break the other high price. The market dominance of bitcoin is still above 58% which is still quite high for an altcoin season, to me this seems like just two different coins getting good profits but that are isolated cases and nothing more, sooner or later those coins will go down as for the most part people are just speculating with them and then we will see other coins doing the same in a pattern we have seen too many times before, to me until we do not see bitcoin with a dominance below 50% then it is too soon to talk about an altcoin season.
