Two years later, the thread had no replies, the website is down but ... the wallet has 1000 downloads on Google Play. Whats up? Is this project still alive? On GitHub there was also a long silence since 2019.

I'm poking around for inclusion in WalletScrutiny: https://walletscrutiny.com/android/tech.hodler.core/

I saw Holder wallet today for the first time, and I don't know much about it, but I like the dark style.
Does it have ability to sign-a-message for Bitcoin?
So far I know that only Electrum and Coinomi have that option

I found the OS you created for j3 very interesting. And I understand why you charge for it. For some time now I've been looking for an android version that could be used exclusively as a multi-wallet. Any plans to create and maintain android versions for other smartphones?

Heres an idea...

With regards to the timelock feature, you could have multiple options. It could be literally impossible to access your funds, or there could be other options where the funds are accessible (in case of emergency etc) but you place a self imposed and self determined percentage penalty if you take out the funds before the deadline, (the percentage penalty should be shrinkable as you get closer to the deadline as well in a proportionate manner). So you have established the option for a disincentivising system for the user to remove their coins early, and created a source of funds for somebody too! Where should the penalty go? Well the user should be able to choose this too. Either to the developers, or to be distributed to other users of the wallet. This would act as an interest acruing mechanism for everyone who deposits funds in the wallet! So everyones a winner and it incentivises more adoption as well.

good wallet, good business. few moments.

1. when i view something on Delphi - on my eyes blink - ATTENTION, VUNNERABILITY.

2. primary question. what function you use for generation priv. keys. Exist VUNNERABILITY generation mechanisms when hacker may sweep all keys generated wallet.

1. Why? I wrote this wallet from a scratch, always focused on security. This code is native, do not use webview or other things which may be vulnerable. It's all native
2. Look at function priv256forHD in misc unit, private keys are created from concatenating master seed and given coin params, then hashed. It's not inversible, so hacker must own a masterseed. Masterseed is generated with ISecureRandom + data from move sensor + taps/clicks  etc, then hashed.
MasterSeed is then secured with TCA alghoritm for key streching and SPECK. In early version of HODLER every single private key were also secured with key strech algo but we left this feature because it takes too long for generate pool of addresses for receive/change feature.

Hello.

We'd like to inform you about implementing NANO into HODLER Wallet.

We already have the infrastructure needed to support NANO transactions, generating addresses and private keys and securing them, the backup system, and mining blocks needed to send transactions. Possibly as soon as this week we'll be able to release a closed version of HODLER Wallet with NANO support for the people who by sending an email titled “NANO TESTS” to [email protected] declare their willingness to participate in the tests.

Jokes about fee used to send transactions are popular among the NANO community. We'd like to include one of them in our wallet's interface in the place used for setting the miners fee with other cryptocurrencies.

Placement of the NANO fee joke:

Because of that, we'd like to announce a contest for the best NANO fee joke fitting our wallet.

The prize:
including winner's signature under the joke with a link to his profile
satisfaction from winning Smiley

The rules:
Start: on the day of announcement
End: 14.02
The joke is to be placed on an edited GUI:  https://hodler.tech/manuals/HODLER-NANO-FEE-JOKE-CLEAN.jpg
Send your work to [email protected] with a link to your social media profile
Fee-joke can be in either visual or text form

We encourage you to spread this information among the NANO community. We are very proud to be possibly the first multiwallet to include NANO among its supported cryptocurrencies. We consider NANO to be a great project that should be widely discussed by the entire crypto community because of how open this project is to solving the problems many people face, including its use of very innovative method of transaction processing, fighting against transaction spam and implementing 0-fee.

Best regards,

HODLER Wallet 0.4 has been released!

Among numerous small improvements, a couple of more important ones can be highlighted:

- Keypool – new address for each new transaction. Subsequent transactions will be received to new addresses, while the change mechanism will send coins to addresses with positions higher than 1,000,000 in the pool. This will greatly improve the privacy of transactions, and automatic mixing will help to obfuscate the real address of the sender. The longer wallet is being used, the more diffused and mixed user's coins will become. It's a major change in the wallet, and one that we have tested thoroughly. If you happen upon any issues with synchronization, they can be fixed by restoring the user's profile with the “QR Encrypted Backup” or “Mnemonic Seed Backup”. In case of any problems, contact us at [email protected].

- New look of the app – intended to improve the clarity of displayed information, and make using the wallet even easier. The application's UI will be further improved in the future with new icons making it easier to use particular features of the wallet.

Windows version and the APK file were published at the usual link:
https://github.com/HODLERTECH/HODLER-Open-Source-Multi-Asset-Wallet/releases/

The new release was also added to Play Store, and it will take up to 48 hours for it to update.

We hope that you will enjoy using the new version of HODLER Wallet!

Hello. ICO was very quick, we collected funds that allow us to develop the product. Our token is HODLER.TECH (HDL) https://www.altilly.com/market/HDL_USDT

We have almost ready next few changes in the program:
- a new design of the application,
- keypool (to improve the privacy of the transaction),
- many minor changes reported by the community,

We are also finishing changes that will make our apps 100% compatible with the bitcoin.org standard in order to obtain their recommendation. The list of the requirements is very long, but almost all of them are already implemented in HODLER Wallet:
https://github.com/bitcoin-dot-org/bitcoin.org/blob/master/docs/managing-wallets.md

We have an overview of our application by Bitcoin.org will improve the confidence in our software for people who are not programmers and are unable to verify the code on our Github:
https://github.com/HODLERTECH/HODLER-Open-Source-Multi-Asset-Wallet

The next task is to add the NANO, XRP and Monero cryptocurrencies and integrate the HODLER Wallet with DEX (Decentralized Exchange) to enable private and secure coin exchange in the application.

Thank you for your interest

Interest discussion about Hodler started in the web-wallets board : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hodler-wallet-5098468

I just installed the 0.3.2 version for windows. I think i will try it later today, i think Hodler would be a very useful tool to store multiple crypto-funds in one wallet. I didn't hear about your ICO. Does the wallet run a coin within it?

We have made pairing of wallets between different devices and platforms easier. Encrypted QR Backup is now displayed in the wallet, all it takes is too scan it with a laptop or phone camera to synchronize two devices. Troublesome and dangerous sending of the seed is no longer required. Encrypted seed in a form of QR code can be stored online, as to decrypt it user's password is needed.

Moving of balances into another device, including from computer to phone and vice versa, now takes only couple seconds:

In the next release we will also include the option of generating a full, encrypted paper wallet and export it from the device. In all cases to open it the password will be required. You can try by yourself to crack the wallet that we're publishing, it's our official wallet. If you try it you will get to know what the term "key stretching" is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Key_stretching

This time everything went great. The new, 0.2.9 release of our application, updated using all the data we collected during the previous test, is much better than the 0.2.8 release. The new, optimized synchronization system is much lighter on the servers, the wallet no longer slows down when traffic is high, and the balances are synchronized much faster. Improved traffic control system divides the traffic smoothly and evenly on all servers. The servers proved themselves to be able to survive the harshest of situations, and after the traffic lowers down they can get back to normal immediately. The only issue we discovered is huge encumbrance during ETH and tokens synchronization, and we will start working on it right away.

The 0.2.9 release also introduces a new token Algory, a new coin DigiByte (Legacy + Segwit), support for all LTC addresses (Legacy, Multisig, Segwit) and the option of choosing preferred coins during the initial configuration. This version of our wallet is a great advancement and it will soon be introduced to our hardware wallet.

Currently we're working on the iOS release as well as adding the support for NANO.

Some conclusions right after fixing the servers:

1. Bitcoin can't use the same server as the other coins. It has to have a full, dedicated server + one mirror server. We still have to fix switching between the two servers to disperse the traffic.
2. We need to start creating local backups of the utxo database more often, so that restoring it will be really fast. At the current configuration it takes about 3 hours, it will be brought down to maximally 30 minutes.
3. Synchronizing each coins will be separated into independent threads with a specific TimeOut. In case of a single coin malfunction, the entire wallet won't crash trying to connect to a malfunctioning server.
4. The list of available coins will be shown during the first configuration, in order not to needlessly check balances of the coins the user does not use – it will unburden the infrastructure.

The test we organized turned out priceless. We spotted a lot of little elements that can be improved.

The second turn of tests will take place on Friday 19:00 CEST.
I'm really amazed how you just moved in just the couple of months. Good post-mortem reports and I love to see those improvements coming in the next weeks or so. I'm going to continue to monitor the progress and I'm glad to be part of this amazing project (signature campaign). Keep up the good work guys!!!. Yesterday's tests were a true war. If you didn't participate, you missed a lot. I'll try my best to describe the whole thing:

1. 16:00 – 2 hours before the tests we start to prepare the wallets: 100 wallets with $20 in each
2. 16:30 – A lot of users opened their wallets, the servers slowed and the application started to “take its time to think”.
3. 17:00 – Even more wallets running, it's harder for us to make new ones and our progress slows.
4. 18:00 – Over 600 people starts the wallet at the same time, nervous awaiting for the first backups begins.
5. 18:05 – First 20 wallets with passwords are published.
6. 18:06 – Server I fails; that was not the intended scenario. According to plans the server should have passed the surplus traffic to Server II and they should both work on synchronizing the wallets. Since this failed, Server II took the entire traffic and also slowed, through it kept working.
7. 18:30 – Some impatient people turned off their wallets and the server started to improve its performance, the application was still a bit slow but usable.
8. It turned out 4 of 20 backups were empty – the servers were congested during sending funds to these wallets, and sending was interrupted after a moment.
9. 19:30 – All wallets are restored.
10. Summing up the results, licking the wounds, burying the dead – these still take place.

We will soon publish our conclusions as well as fixes to the application which will make the second round of tests (81 wallets with $20 on each) go more smoothly. We are definitely happy with the enormous interest the community displayed towards HODLER Wallet and our infrastructure tests, which surpassed all expectations.

Ravencoin (RVN) available in HODLER Wallets!

We are pleased to announce adding @Ravencoin to HODLER Wallet. $RVN is a cryptocurrency created by Bitcoin developers with the specific purpose of facilitation of asset transfers. It can now be safely stored in HODLER Wallet, the only fully Open Source multi-wallet on the market.

Android version of the wallet: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.hodler.core
Windows version: https://hodler.tech/download/Windows/

Ravencoin is a digital peer to peer network that aims to implement a use case specific blockchain, designed to efficiently handle one specific function: the transfer of assets from one party to another. Built on a fork of the Bitcoin code, Ravencoin was launched January 3rd, 2018, and is a truly open source project (no ICO or masternodes). It focuses on building a useful technology, with a strong and growing community.

Until the end of next week all the packages will be ready to be sent. Everyone who sent us their address before 19.10.2018 will be informed by email when the package is posted and when it is expected to be delivered.

If you want to confirm your addition to the list of people who will receive the hardware wallet, please send your address to [email protected]. Unfortunately a lot of people have given us their addresses who never participated in our ICO – they have been excluded. In case you don't receive a confirmation that the package has been sent by 02.11.2018, please contact us to verify the ownership of 100,000 HDL tokens. The verification means signing a message with the address where the tokens are, or if this is problematic, sending us 1 token from the address used for purchase during ICO. People who applied from an email address used during ICO don't need to be verified.

We are interested to hear your opinions after you unbox and configure the device for the first time. The last update, with a working, secure OS updater is quite impressive. A video presentation of HODLER Hardware Wallet will be published after the prototype is sent and we receive your feedback. We are convinced you will see the amount of work that we've put into this project. We hope your opinions will help us improve the product even further so that it will impress the buyers when we start selling it, which we plan to do in the first quarter of 2019. Some of the interesting ideas we had will not be finalized before the prototypes are sent – one of them is encryption of the file system done by the starting script of the OS. Thanks to the easy to install firmware updates this will be implemented soon. Of course this is just the second layer of encryption. The main one, encryption of all sensitive wallet data, is present from the start.

Thanks. At the moment, we're adding new coins. We are preparing the support of RavenCoin, DigiByte, NANO and Ethereum Classic. In the first place, we add projects that the community proposes to us and which offer HODLER promotion in their social media. We invite you to suggest interesting coins, we will contact them.

Atomic Swap is an inevitability, we are looking for the best solution in this matter.

We've added the programming environment configuration instructions for HODLER's own compilation, please check: https://github.com/HODLERTECH/HODLER-Android-Multi-Asset-Wallet/blob/master/README.md

The iOS version is already advanced, we are waiting for the formalities related to the D-U-N-S number, the company's Appstore development account. We will inform you about the progress.

Every new coin added is a good idea! I think you could talk with bitcrystals developers (as BCY will be delisted at bittrex - due to "security" regulatory issue - there are many people looking for place to store their BCY and Hodler.tech wallet could be interested for them! I am aware it could be difficult as BCY is counterparty XCP token, but I think it is worth at least to make an attempt to talk

Good work on this, missed the announcement, but I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for such a wallet. I'll probably always stick to my current client for Bitcoin, but a good open source alternative is sorely in need for all those other tokens/alts that we inevitably come into. The Jaxxs and Exoduss out there lack this feature, and as such, will never be a true solution for most of us.

Will still be a while before I commit to installing - any chance you'll hop on to the current bandwagon of atomic swapping at some point?

We'd like to inform you on what we are now currently discussing.

As you all know, we plan to implement a "Retailer Mode" feature. It will enable:

1. Easy cryptocurrency payments in stores
2. Automatically processing incoming payments to user's preferred exchange when they will be instantly sold for fiat, so that the seller doesn't has to be concerned with volatility.
3. Generating clear settlements which the seller could add to the settlement documentation of his business (using fiat prices on the day of selling cryptocurrency)

Since we don't intend to require huge knowledge about cryptocurrencies from retailers, this feature will be turned on as a separate, distinct wallet mode, very simple, looking like a traditional bank account. The balance will be displayed in fiat by default (with cryptocurrency balance possible to be enabled in the settings), there will be no fee options (dynamic fee set as default), display names will be adapted to resemble the ones used in bank accounts. Retailer Mode will be useful for very inexperienced cryptocurrency users, we want to add there tutorials and detailed descriptions of features with recognizable vocabulary so that HODLER Wallet will remain a great choice of application for the people who are just starting to get interested in cryptocurrencies.

Do you have any suggestions and ideas concerning this feature?

For example, one of the users suggested integrating HODLER with exchanges enabling trading cryptocurrency for cash, as well as with third party Bitcoin ATMs. We are planning to start talks with providers of such services.

Here's how Retailer Mode will work:

Code:
Retailer Mode is a feature that enables accepting payments that are automatically sent to a chosen exchange (the first one supported will be Kraken). It will be a new, special mode of the HODLER Wallet:

1. It will enable accepting 0 conf to the amount limit set up by the user. It is important for both the retailer and buyer to know instantly that a payment has been processed. Currently HODLER Wallet displays a transaction as "Unconfirmed", in Retailer Mode it will mean that a payment has been made.

2. Accepting payments will be possible in few ways:
a) for a HODLER Wallet address
b) for an exchange address imported as "watch only"
In both cases the seller can configure how to sell cryptocurrencies on the market (for example set it to once a day on a specific time), and how often to send fiat from the exchange to their bank account. If cryptocurrencies are accepted for HODLER Wallet, the seller can configure when to send them to an exchange and change to fiat so that a fiat payout can be made according to a planned schedule.

Concerning the GUI - turning on Retailer Mode will be available from "Settings" tab. After turning it on, configuration will take the users through few simple steps:
1. Choosing language and fiat currency
2. Choosing the exchange that will process the transactions, store cryptocurrency and send fiat payouts. In this step the user should fill in the API keys.
3. Choosing the accepted cryptocurrencies. The seller can choose from the ones who are paired to the chosen fiat on the chosen exchange. HODLER Wallet automatically checks which cryptocurrencies can be traded for a chosen fiat currency on the user's preferred exchange.
4. Configuring other settings, like amount limit for 0 conf, how the funds are stored (on an exchange or in HODLER Wallet), selling to fiat frequency (immediately, once an hour, once a day or on a specific time, etc.), frequency of fiat payouts (immediately, once an hour, once a day or on a specific time, etc.). If the chosen exchange's API supports choosing from different bank accounts to send fiat to, that option will also be available. The 4th step of configuration can, if needed, be divided into more steps.

All you have to do in order to win this money is join our Telegram group where the backups will be published (https://telegram.me/HODLER_TECH_IN ), have HODLER Wallet installed, use it to restore a backup as fast as you can, and send the stored money to your own address. There's no limit to how many wallets one person can take funds from, so if you're quick there's a lot of money to be made.

The minimum number of people required for these tests to start is 5,000, but for them to give fully reliable results we would like around 10,000 people to participate. That's why we encourage you to share this information about the tests everywhere you can.

I really like this type of airdrop. Up to November, will iOS or MacOS version be released? Otherwise, I have to use my wife's phone. She may want some commission from me Smiley

We want to popularize our software because there are many opportunities to earn if you have a good and popular wallet. Integration with the  exchanges of our "retailer mode" feature, coin listing and promotion of the commercial HODLER Hardware Wallet solution. We prefer advertising expenditures directly to users than to pay tens of thousands of dollars for articles in the media. We want the community to feel connected with us and recommend our wallets. This is the win-win situation. We have a long-term development strategy.

Why would you give away money to people for testing an open source wallet? Are you getting anything out of this? This is like Satoshi paying people to try out bitcoin Cheesy Do you also have another means of communication other than telegram?

Thank you for your kind words, it is very important to us. This is the biggest award for over 9 months of writing, planning, implementing, testing and communicating with the community. We have completely absorbed us, we are constantly wondering what to improve, what to add to the wallet to make it even better.

Society has a great share in the development of our software. Everything we introduce we consult with active community members. The wallet is built by you and for you.

You ask a lot about timelock, so we get to work and soon we will send a test solution Smiley

It looks like no other wallets have come up with such an amazing functionality till yet but it is also a bigger achievement if "timelock" works as described.
I am thinking to try this open source app in my smart phone, will write for support if needed

Installed Windows wallet , looks fine to me . I hope this application will add more security as a statement made by @LoyceV made me bit concerned . I have installed this application in main laptop that has all other wallet data & till now everything is good .

Thanks for trying out our wallet. We are constantly getting community feedback through our Telegram channel (https://telegram.me/HODLER_TECH_IN) and so far nobody has reported any security related issues. We are the only fully Open Source multi-wallet on the market and anyone can review and verify the code. Furthermore, we will soon undergo an independent security audit which willl confirm the highest grade of security delivered by our project.

I love seeing great projects like this starting out and gaining adoption.  Its a beautiful thing to watch a project grow right in front of your eyes.  I hope this wallet succeeds, good luck.

ok, i looked at some of the code. i see that you have basically written the elliptic curve calculates on your own. are you sure they are correct? is it tested?

i didn't understand two things:
1. why are you doing this check? r + s doesn't have to be dividable by 2. and i can't find it anywhere that says this check is needed. do you know any reason i am missing? see 4.1.3 of SEC1
also i believe this mod is completely unnecessary as the numbers you are giving it are 256-bit and mod with that larger number will return the same thing. not to mention that where it is being called the numbers (r and s for instance) must be 32 byte otherwise the implementation would be broken.
2. the other thing i didn't get is why are you using the private key itself for generating a random number for signing. isn't there any better RNG provider to use?

might i also suggest Separation of concerns. some files are too large (as in 1000+ lines) and it seems like they don't all need to be in one place.

nitpicking but DER Format comment should really move to line 252 because that is where you are DER formatting Tongue

We are very pleased that someone from outside looks through our code.
This unit, secp256k1.pas was written by me, so I will tell you about your remarks.
This mod is required due to a flaw in BigInteger class which allows to generate n-bit integer number where n is all free bits in RAM. Sometimes it create an 257 bit number even with 256bit constraits in upper lines. So this module is security check to not allow damaged r,s pair appear in signature.
About d number (priv) in k generating you got right, there should be a trngBuffer instead of d. It will be changed in next release.
This comment about DER formatting has been missed out when code was moved down.
Our signatures are correct and they have been tested few thousand times.
Thank you for your contribution Smiley

How can you timelock coins cant the user just get there private key and use it with a different wallet and access them if they change there mind?
defeating the purpose of the timelock

The TimeLock wallet mode will require the password generated by the application (which user does not know until the lock is removed) to export the key. A normal wallet requires only a master password.

I never thought I'd see pascal again in my life let alone see a project. i'll try checking the code to see how much of it i remember.

Yeah indeed, it's been ages since I've seen a project using this language.
Reminds me of my high school days where our computer teaches would let us write small little apps in BASIC or Object Pascal later on.

Very interesting to see a wallet written in this language.

it has nothing to do with the wallet. in simple terms what happens is that you move your funds to a new address, but while doing so you create a transaction that has a "condition" in it, that "condition" is telling the network that this transaction output (your coins) are only spendable when a certain criteria (time) is met. effectively locking your funds.

Sorry for my ignorance. I have just macOS and iOS which the app doesn't support. Using your app, can I import my previous wallets? Nearly none of universal wallets doesn't have this feature. To my experience, just Imtoken 2 supports importing old EOS, ETH, BTC wallets. However, this time they put the restriction on the number of wallets for each currency, which is 3.

I'm looking forward to seeing your iOS version impatiently. Good luck.

You can import any of the wallets of the supported coins using the private key. Moreover we are soon gonna implement ERC20 Scanner - a solution that will automatically add all the ETH tokens you own to your balance and show them on the coin list as soon as you import an ETH wallet.

Like Vod, I'm also really interested in seeing you implement an option to timelock cryptocurrency.
It would be a real shame if you didn't add it, while having a name like that for your wallet.

Plus, it would be great if timelocks become easy to perform from within a wallet.
Though you might want to disable the function by default, since it would be pretty bad if someone did it by accident.

We can achieve this in few ways, like contract script with OP_CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY, or with nLocktime or just with our software way like encrypted zip with password (where time to crack it calculated to be eg. 24 hours, 48 hours etc.) with showing the right pass when time will come.  This feature will be available in near future

Forks are also important for us. If there is a fork that will be of interest to our users, we will certainly allow its claim inside the wallet.

We chose Delphi for many reasons, it is native, it does not require additional software, it is multiplatform and we have a strong programming team in this language. You're right, it's difficult to get Open Source code, but it forces us to write our own solutions, which means that we can create them freely Our app is not copy&paste coded, thanks to this we need to get to know each solution well to implement it in our apps. Moreover, we just like to write in Delphi:)

The way I judge new is wallets is the flexibility they offer while claiming the forked coins. Don't get me wrong, it's good to have one solution for every coin out there but also there are wallets which provide the same service. My only concerns with them are claiming the forked coins. So will you be adding the easiness to claim the forked coins anytime soon?

You have coded this stuff in Pascal? Shocked Shocked Man, best of luck getting open source contributors.

Some info concerning the updates of HODLER Wallet:

1. The Android app downloaded from Play Store is updated automatically on all devices within 24 hours from the release of a new version.
2. The .apk version downloaded from our website has to be updated manually. The only official source: https://hodler.tech/download/Android
3. The Windows version will automatically inform the user when a new version is available on our server. There's also an option to manually check if we're running the latest release, just select „Check Update” from the „Settings” tab. If a new version is available, it will be downloaded automatically, the application will close and restart in the updated version.

Yesterday we have released the 0.2.6 version. Windows users should see an information that an update is available. Let us know if you had any problems updating the application.

HODL My Coins (Timelock)

This feature will of course be optional, clearly distinguished in the wallet, and the user will be informed on how it works.

Locking the funds will be based on using two passwords with HODLER Secure Backup or Encrypted QR Backup. The first password is the one chosen by the user while setting up a wallet, known only to him. The second password is generated automatically by an Open Source algorithm, unknown to the user and saved in the database. HODLER Wallet will create a special account, and the database will also contain a date on which the second password will be revealed to the user (via email and a popup in the application). This will mark the end of the period in which the user wished the selected funds to be locked.

Security:

1. If a hostile party finds out the second password, it does not endanger the funds, since without knowing the first password the attacker cannot access the wallet.

2. Similarly, if the attacker finds out the first password, the backup is still secured with the second one and funds cannot be accessed.

3. The second password won't be overly complicated, and it will be possible to break it with a brute force attack (using zip passwords cracking software) lasting several days. This will give the user a way to access his funds even in a situation where the password sent through email gets accidentally deleted. It will also allow the user to gain access to the funds in case he changes his mind about how long he should hodl for. After cracking the second password the user will also be able to use the archive to export private keys in case the wallet gets lost.

So far this is the preparatory concept, as simple as it can be. The users who use our original HODLER Secure Backup feature will also be able to easily use HODLER Secure Backup Timelock.
We're interested in learning what you think about it.

We have made some changes in the version we are now testing pre-release:

- showing the price of coins on the main screen
- Windows version will have additional descriptions of features to make the application as easy to use as possible for unexperienced users
- icons of 4 coins are fixed to look better with the white layout
- organizing has improved option for removing a single account
- translation fixes
- improved ERC20 Scanner (a feature allowing easy adding of ETH tokens)
- added option of typing in the fee as sat/b
- added option of sorting coins by name or address
- optimalized wallet startup
- application cache remembers the balance of last synchronization
- doubled the servers running our API and coded a router to switch between them to even out the traffic on each (we sometimes turn off some servers to simulate their malfunction)
- we are working on a main control dashboard for the servers to monitor for malfunctions and alert when they are detected; we're also working for the procedures for automatic repair

Apart from that, we have a long list of improvements and fixes suggested by the community, which we are successively implementing. Many users deserve thanks for their ongoing support, your involvement motivates us with lots of fresh energy to build HODLER.

Native function to block coins in Bitcoin and forks can not be undone. If we manage to develop a different solution (blocking keys through additional encryption), we will have to make a gate for the owner. This may be an additional password that will be able to break within several days of bruteforce. Of course, the second, difficult password will still block unauthorized access to funds and addresses with the "HODL" function will be separated from the basic portfolio.
If we had access to this function in 2017, we would already be millionaires a few times Smiley Probably many other people had a similar situation.

Yea I think timelocking your coins would be great that was my first impression when I read the name of the wallet that it would help you hodl your coins in some way shape or form that's cool you guys will be implementing that Smiley

Although my only concern is what if you really need to sell them like if we see a price boom like 2017 and it would be vital to unlock the wallet?

Thank you. We appreciate your contribution to the development of the application.

At the moment, we're introducing the last list of user suggestions to the program. We hope that the next version of the program will be even better. We also prepare video about HODLER Secure Backup. We hope that encrypted backups will become standard in other wallets as well.

We'd like to introduce the only fully Open Source, free multi-asset and multi-platform cryptocurrency wallet in the world.

We find it absolutely crucial that a cryptocurrency wallet should be completely Open Source. We explained why we think so here: https://steemit.com/source/@hodler.tech/hodler-the-only-multiwallet-that-s-open-source-and-why-it-matters

Basic specification of HODLER Wallet:

1. You have a full control over your private keys, nobody else but you can access them, you can export them to other wallets.
2. No private data of the user is ever collected.
3. Transactions are always generated and signed on your device. No sensitive data is ever send to an external server.
4. Don't trust, verify - thanks to being fully Open Source, the application is completely transparent. Any modifciation or update of the software is immediately verified by the community of security experts all around the world.

Official website of HODLER Wallet: https://hodler.tech

Supported platforms:

Android
- Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.hodler.core
- APK version: https://hodler.tech/download/Android/
- Source Code: https://github.com/HODLERTECH/HODLER-Android-Multi-Asset-Wallet/tree/master/Android

Windows
- EXE App: https://hodler.tech/download/Windows/
- Source Code: https://github.com/HODLERTECH/HODLER-Windows-Multi-Asset-Wallet

In the future we will add the support for following platforms:

- iOS
- MacOS
- Linux

Supported cryptocurrencies:

- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- DASH
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Every ERC20 token: by default we list EOS, Tronix (TRX), VeChain (VEN), Binance Coin, OmiseGo (OMG), ICON (ICX), Zilliqa (ZIL), Aeternity (AE), Bytom (BTM), 0x (ZRX) and our HODLER.TECH (HDL). Any other token can be easily added manually by pasting the contract address. We also implemented a unique feature of automatically scanning for and adding tokens to wallet balance: just import your MyEtherWallet private key, and all the ERC20 tokens you own will be automatically added to the balance of your wallet.

In the future we will add the support for Ripple, IOTA, Cardano, Stellar and ultimately all of the top 100 most popular cryptocurrencies.

Features of HODLER wallet:

- Easy and safe backup of the entire wallet done with our original solutions called HODLER Secure Backup and Encrypted QR Code Backup – read more about these solutions here: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@hodler.tech/introducing-hsb-hodler-secure-backup. Of course our wallet also supports the traditional method of using a mnemonic seed.
- Full encryption of wallet data to protect it from unauthorized use
- Carefully thought out default settings allowing everyone to easily send and receive cryptocurrency, but with advanced options allowing for full customizations of transactions, like setting custom fees fitting to current network traffic
- Many fiat currencies to which you can convert your cryptocurrency: PLN, EUR, GBP, USD, CAD, INR and many more coming in the future
- Many languages supported: English, Polish, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese and many more coming in the future
- Full customization and organization of the wallet: moving, removing and adding cryptocurrencies as you see fit, as well as renaming coins on the list and adding many addresses for a single cryptocurrency
- Cryptocurrency finder for the coins listed on HODLER main screen
- ERC 20 Scanner:  add tokens with one click.

Incoming features:

- Support for Decentralized Applications (DApps): we seek to support decentralized solutions to help connect the world through a blockchain
- Many more coins: our goal is to suppport all of the most popular cryptocurrencies, as well as all the ETH, Lisk, NEO and Cardano tokens
- „HODL My Coins” feature: a HODL option for all or some of your funds – set a restriction on your wallet to HODL cryptocurrency for a chosen time
- NFC Payments: secure and contactless transactions - the new generation of mobile payments
- Retailer Mode: is our way to make the vision of cryptocurrency acceptance in stores worldwide a reality. HODLER’s Retailer Mode allows the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments even for people with hardly any knowledge of them. All it takes to enable payment acceptance is switching the Retailer Mode on. The transaction will happen similarly to transactions made with credit and debit cards. Read more about it here: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@hodler.tech/cryptocurrency-payment-terminal-for-high-street-
retailers-retailer-mode-in-hodler-wallet
- Pay-to-Email & Pay-to-SMS: send your coins to people who don't know much about cryptocurrency and do not have a wallet

We invite you to download the wallet, testing, and send comments on its functionality!
