Ok, so from perusing the other threads, the general consensus/strategy is to HODL, and sell at an ATH (or sufficiently close to one).
Two questions arise and I would appreciate your thoughts/ views:

1) The rates are volatile and unpredictable to say the least, and it would seem that people (especially the first time adopters/buyers) are still skeptical about diving in and getting some BTC. How is HODL going to help the cause? Basically its a stalemate - those HODL will pursue and those whom are skeptical about investing will remain so.

2) In many countries (specifically 3rd world countries where widespread adoption will have the biggest impact on BTC growth), the current price of $8,000+/BTC is possibly more than the average annual salary of the populations concerned - so crypto can almost never be afforded. Western/EU countries are wealthier in comparison but with smaller populations - chances are that the masses have already invested in crypto/BTC, and there are comparitively fewer potential "first timer investors". So the question here is - assume we reach an ATH of $20,000 -who are you going to sell to..or perhaps more significantly - which market do you expect will buy? Will there perhaps be an anti-climax where you realize that the "HODL strategy" will leave you with over-valued coin, but no one to sell them to?

Will there ever be a paradigm shift - and what will effect this?

Thanks.
