These dogs are like weapons that can auto-shoot(if provocated or if they escape). At wrong hands deadly, but are OK in right hands. But there is far more control over who can have a gun than who can have pit bulls.

In my estimation, you know little to nothing about dogs or dog training.

With all the bad publicity the pitbull gets I'm glad to see a refreshing heart warming story instead of someone having been bitten or mauled.

Yeppers!

Dogs are what the owners make them.

Pit Bull cares for and carries her injured Chihuahua friend to safety
Posted 5:55 pm, July 23, 2014, by Kasey Babbitt, Updated at 07:18pm, July 23,

"SAVANNAH, Ga. — Earlier this month animal control officers made a surprising discovery when they came across an unlikely pair traveling together in one Georgia neighborhood.

According to the Huffington Post, Joanie the pit bull was found carrying Chachi the Chihuahua around in her mouth inside a Savannah, Georgia, neighborhood. Officers said the Chihuahua had a badly infected eye, which the pit bull would tend to. She would put the pup down every once in a while, and lick his infected eye. Chachi seemed thankful for the attention according the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Facebook post on the pair.

“It’s not every day we get to see such devotion between two special dogs like this,” said Animal Control Officer Christina Sutherin. “They are both such sweet animals. But the relationship they share just sets them apart.”

The Chihuahua’s bad eye had to be removed, so the pit bull had been living apart from her friend while he healed, but Sutherin told the Huffington Post, the two dogs were still getting together a least once a day.

“Staff is amazed at the dedication and love these two have for one another,” said Sutherin.

Although police expected Joanie and Chachi’s owner to come forward to claim them, no one did. Recently the pair has found a new home together in Florida according to WJCL.

“Neither one seems to care about another dog they are exposed to, only each other,” said Sutherin. “They truly appear to be soul mates.”
