That's why I don't use steemit anymore. Some very influential people control who get upvotes and thus the money. Give so much power to a few will be the demise of this platform.

yes you can make good article, make comment on another article in steemit, and wait if your article get attention and whale upvote your article you will get much money if not you only get single penny, you must learn what time is the best time to submit your article and use tag being trending in steemit

this is all game of upvotes. if you get a solid upvote from huge steem power holder you'll earn hundreds of dollars with single upvote. but if you get thousands of upvotes from peoples who have no any power then your earning will be zero.
there is no value for true content and genuine posts in steemit. people votes for what they like to vote.
