I'm pretty sure he already fixed it guys. Smiley
There is no need to keep saying the same thing again.

Even before the DOS against Electrum versions older than 3.3, any version before 3.0 had synchronization issues (he was at 2.0.2, so obviously it wouldn't work anyway).

Your wallet shows 0 as balance because it is not connecting to its servers through which it can interact with the bitcoin network and update your balance accordingly.
Obviously you were in a ruch to download the wallet so you didn't notice the warning message:

Just for you to be more at ease, your balance is in your address 1KYR4QkfQkvHJiwr6hofcgvSk63hFUDDPn as seen in the explorer Smiley

You have an old version of Electrum, the reason why your balance isn't showing in your wallet is because "Electrum clients older than 3.3 can no longer connect to public electrum servers". Check the announcement here: https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet/status/1106479573917724672

LoyceV on the road. Or couch.
Back up your seed phrase, back up your wallet, and download the latest version from Electrum.org.
Then see from there if your coins show up.

First, make sure you have your backup seed written somewhere.

Then, download the latest version of Electrum (3.3.4 as of today) on the official website (not through web archive), and open your wallet with it. Wait a few seconds/minutes for it to sync and see if the coins are there.

Hi guys,

I am not really that new to bitcoin but still need a lot to learn. Today I decided I would start storing any gained BTC on my Windows PC in the well known program Electrum.

I downloaded the 2.0.4 version, set everything up, and chose the first address in the 'Addresses' field. Clicked Receive, the address was already there so I just saved the QR code and went to the BTC ATM. The address was 1KYR4QkfQkvHJiwr6hofcgvSk63hFUDDPn. Once I put my £60 in the ATM, waited a couple whiles, came back to my house just to find that the address completely disappeared from the Electrum wallet. When I open blockchain, I already see 10 confirmations etc., but the address is now not showing up when I open the Electrum program and all of the other 'receiving' addresses just have a balance of 0 a I also see just a balance of 0 in the overall field. Does anyone of you know where my address disappeared? Thanks

edit: used old version because I downloaded it from internet archive apparently - but still official (downloaded from here: https://web.archive.org/web/20190315095138/https://electrum.org/#download)
