Well I was able to get one sponsor so far. That person being my brother. He is purchasing 2x7950s for me to mine with and we are going to split the coin.
I can support 2-4 more cards if anyone is interested in joining us.

Indeed. Thus why I would be willing to send personal info and skype with them.  I also have ebay and some various sales feedback on forums to back me up.
Its a risk for both parties involved but I agree more of a risk for the sponsor. I can claim I am the most honest person in the universe but even I wouldn't believe that claim reading it on the internet. Maybe I'll get lucky and a potential sponsor might already have a connection in my area I can meet with to sure things up. Otherwise whatever I can do to please a sponsor that is within my means I will do so. Its a stretch but until I can afford to shell out mega cash for gpus I may as well give it a try.

I have a rather large sum of money coming my way from an estate in about 6-9 months but until then I can't access it. The boat for mining is starting to sail. In 9 months the potential for profit will be alot less than now. Been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get on that boat before its too late. Cooperation or a partnership might be a good way to do things if only I can find the right person to take a chance on me.

That is difficult.  A lot of people wouldn't be comfortable sending GPUs to a person they don't know.

Heres the deal. I have cheap power and 2 new systems that can support up to 8 gpus. I'm currently mining off a single 6870 which is almost useless but since I find mining fun I am doing it anyway. I would like to find a sponsor who would be interested in sending some new or used gpus my way. Whatever is mined with those gpus would be split 50/50 and the worker(s) would be visible by both parties thru a shared account. This would be ideal for someone who just upgraded to newer GPUs and has some older power hungry but still good gpus kicking around idle.

Both systems are intel 1155 based. One with a biostart z77 board and a 2500k and the other a z68 gigabyte board with a simple g860. 850w Gold in the Z77 and a 650W bronze in the Z68. Granted loading these up with multiple gpus may require a PSU upgrade. I can handle that when the situation arises.

What I would like is tips and advice on how to go about this? I know there are lots of scammers out there so I am willing to share my personal details with a potential sponsor. Can send copy of my ID and what not. Willing to skype whenever. Would meet in person but I am located in Newfoundland, Canada so unless you're on the island with me it'd be rather difficult.

I'm a father of 2, working on call and see this as a possible side project with some good potential if everything keeps going like it does. If anyone has any advice or is interested in working together please get in touch.

thanks all!
