Hi OP, I'm using NameCheap as hosting for my faucet. Here it is: http://coinputer.website/
I availed their cheapest shared hosting offer that is $9.88/yr.
A good thing about NameCheap aside from being 'cheaper' compared to other hosting providers is that they accept bitcoin as a method of payment.
Also the domain came from them at $2.88 I think.

So far I've experienced no problems or delay with both my file and database manager. NameCheap is good to sum it up.

I'm interested about how your site looks like. I'm willing to help if you need any. Please PM me if ever.

Your service may get more attention if you can add some more features like showing collective balance along with individual balance in each address. Also you can add iframe code to display bitcoin held by those addresses in the form of image in other webpages. Email alerts when any of the bitcoin addresses listed receive bitcoins or send out bitcoins etc.

Good luck
I am sorry but I don't know exactly what you mean and what this has to do with my question Cheesy.
Maybe you posted it by mistake in the wrong thread Smiley.

Thank you for all your answers.
I am maybe going to qhoster, they allow such projects.
If somebody has experiences with qhoster it would be great if you share them Smiley.

What this has to do with the question from the OP? Have you even take the time to read what the guy was asking. Your reply show you don't and you just post non sense. The guy is asking what about Namecheap and you tell him to add iframe code to display bitcoin held by those addresses ad email alerts

Yeah, namecheap does not allow any contents that violate their terms such as selling bots, hacking softwares, spy programs etcitra. They even do not allow front-end design, it is considered a scam method in their terms.
If your website contains such contents/program, you can easily host your namecheap domain somewhere else.

I run some sites here and they are all related to bitcoin anc cryptocurrency but not faucet, I have not encounter any problem with them.  I have those sites running for almost a year now.  And if it is stated in their tos, then you must follow it else you will be having a problem if you do not follow them.

I would like to know if somebody has/had problems with hosting a bitcoin project on NameCheap.
Not really an issue in regards to bitcoin project being hosted there but have in mind that they don't offer their services to several countries (I wasn't allowed to purchase domain and hosting there and I suggest you to get in touch with their support first).

And if yes, do you know good and also same priced alternatives?
I never had issues with SteadyTurtle: https://steadyturtle.com/web-hosting.php
Forum thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/steadyturtlecom-bitcoin-web-hosting-shared-hosting-vps-servers-972575

Their a bit pricier (for the first year) but when it comes to the second year for renewal (in comparison with NameCheap), their a lot cheaper:
1st year with one time 30% discount = $4.165/month for ultimate plan
1st year (same with renewal for the next years) with recurring 20% discount = $4.76/month for ultimate plan

I'm using them from nearly 3 years for NON-crypto low traffic projects and never had any problem.

But if you are afraid of their TOS, just choose some cheap hosting from here Webhostingtalk Shared Hosting Offers (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4) or rent a cheap VPS from here http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=104. You will find hundred of offers, most of them accepting Bitcoins.

Note: during order process you need to give a valid (not necessary real) data, otherwise their software will mark your order as fraud. Eg using NY US IP, write some random googled NY US address and valid phone format number.

In the meantime check https://host1plus.com can be good alternative for you to run bitcoin faucet.

Hello,
I would like to know if somebody has/had problems with hosting a bitcoin project on NameCheap.
As of their TOS they disallow almost everything which faucet/bitcoin project owners do.
And if yes, do you know good and also same priced alternatives?
Thank you for answers! Smiley

As a non-faucet-owner I never had an issue with them during last year.
