And how exactly would the check in process look? You show up with the ID?...
Also when booking, I will send the confirmation e-mail to the person who needs the hotel room(s), so you'll show up with a copy of the confirmation number, you won't need a copy of the credit card I use to book it.

Yes exactly, the hotel room will be prepaid, you just show a credit card for any incidentals (does not have to be the same one).
No different than if you were on business having the company book the rooms for you.

My commission for doing this is 5 percent, and I go by the mtgox rate.
