Surprisingly, over the years cleaning robots have developed to a point where they've become affordable! I use a RoboVacuum Mop essential from a brand called Xiaomi, and it costed me less than $200. I have a lot of expensive mid-century furniture–so I can't really use heavy-duty equipment like Dyson vacuum cleaners. Plus, I'm always too tired to clean once I get back from work. Having the ability to schedule the robot cleaning while I'm asleep is a total gamechanger. It gets the vacuuming done sooooo well. The mopping needs a little more work, but overall definitely changed my way of life!
It looks like a robot that can greatly facilitate daily life but i have doubts that it can reach to clean corners and tight spaces
I saw a video of a guy who overengineers things and he made a roomba scream and curse when it hit something, if i can recreate it i would buy it for sure

I got a Roomba from my parents this year for my birthday. A pretty cool because it cleans alone and charges itself again,the only problem is that it needs free space to move around. So cleaning up before is a must so he doesn't get stuck. Also the corners are not so great. It's good for making the first sweep.
Can you share videos of how it works for you mate? because i think we have the same house position and i am planning to have robot as well.so Please if you don't mind me sharing then i will be very glad.
YouTube is full of such videos. Every small right angled shaped place will be the hardest place to clean for Roomba. With its little broom, it can just get the farthest corner. Roomba either will clean it for few seconds and drive away, or will stuck there for minutes trying to get a better trajectory to get out.
Roomba is good in the place where you have lots of open space and don't have furniture. Or for a place that was cleaned 12 days ago. He is a perfect "pre-cleaner", but it can never replace a cheapest vacuum cleaner.

I love new tech but you know what, I don’t like being lazy. Something as simple as cleaning, I’d rather do myself. Maybe when you’re old & not too good on your feet it’s a cool idea but for now I will continue to do it myself.

When the robot is in our life, we can make our lives simple and we do not have to do a small thing such as clean our house because the robot can do that. But that can make humans lazy because they can order the robot to do the jobs for us while relaxing or enjoying our time. The new era will come soon if that is really happening, but I guess the scientist already developed that robot to help our lives.
There are already various robot vacuum cleaners and they are already changing our lives on the one hand for the better (when you are tired after, and you can't do it manually with an ordinary vacuum cleaner), on the other hand for the worse (So we can get lazy if robots do everything for us).
I don't think My wife will like this robot because this will only lessen the work or maybe worsen ?

Why not help your wife so that she can spend her time on more meaningful activities? Cleaning the house is a tiring and often time-consuming job. Sadly, it is often viewed as a woman's job in most cultures.

Cleaning the house is not that hard to work on. You may hire a housemaid whom I can trust and let them do the cleaning rather than use robots which in sometimes might malfunction if overused.That way I can use my time in working.

How i wish of Having one of these robots , My wife gets too much time for cleaning house and with the help of this robot I'm sure She will feel Ease in daily routine.Recently, I bought a robot and I like this thing.

It is set to run whenever there is no one in the house and it returns to its base on its own. I love that I can set it to clean while I'm at work and the kids are in school. No need to pay a cleaning service. I only have to empty the dirt bin on a regular basis.
I have a iRobot Roomba also. I dont remember the model, but it is the one that has extra cleaning feature after pets. Sometimes it can clean my flat for an hour and still continues to clean. But some times it spends less time cleaning, make a beep sound meaning it has finished, while there are still hair and dirt in corners. Sometimes he get under the table and cant get out from it for half an hour... I have taken it to the service and they said it works fine; average cleaning time is about 30-35min for a 70m2 flat. I could only say that iRobot is a great addition to a basic vacuum cleaner, as iRobot still misses some dirt.
it's a good idea. when I'm not busy, I clean it myself. however, when busy, I need this robot to help. still, I choose not to buy it because I know, if I really bought it, my nature of laziness would be released and I would use it everyday...I rely on these chores to lose weight 
That's right, reliance on cleaning robots like this will only make laziness even bigger...Humans are much cleaner in cleaning the house while robots are certainly still lacking.

Robots are also something hard to trust. I have one. Sometimes it cleans till its battery is dead, sometimes it gets stuck under the sofa just after I close the door and go to job.

Well Just fine dirt? but of course it helps a lot if you are living solo in House , But for me with kids and some Pets? i don't think this will be enough and hand cleaning is still the best .I rather have a Helper weekly to settle the cleaning than a Expensive robot

I've never had anyone clean my house, but I've found that if I did it can be life changing. The extra time gained can go into much better things. And the clear mind form not having to worry so much about it.

As much as it sounds cool, I will prefer to clean it by myself because there would still be part of the house that a robot will be unable to clean. I bet ya!
