I really doubt that Wakar Zaka has become a crypto billionaire as of yet but yeah reading all the news articles I think he definitely has some nice stash.
Given that he has been running crypto mining we can say that he has indeed shined some light on bitcoin in Pakistan.
People used to call Wakar Zaka a cancer of Pakistan for his crazy reality shows which used to become a meme material on social media.
But since he has gotten into bitcoin it seems he is spreading awareness about bitcoin in Pakistan and I must say I am quite impressed.
He has gained some respect due to this generous act and I hope he continues to spread awareness on crypto in Pakistan.

Maybe he just claim that he became a billionaire just to gain awareness to the people about what he is claiming since wealth is powerful tool to convince people unto something what you believe and introduce to him. But anyways whatever it is and since his intention is beneficial to all his countrymen also with us if bitcoin will get adopted that's totally fine since somehow those things might help other people to dream about earning the same with him and be aware about crypto.

The government will only take certain action when they feel it is the right time to do so. I actually admire his courage and strong will to challenge the Pakistan government to adopt btc. May be if there are more like him it will make things go faster.
Nonetheless, this is a good way of spreading the word across, he has over a million followers in his YouTube channel and that is a huge number of people to reach out, then imagine those people spread the word to other relatives, the news will spread. I believe some day his effort will be rewarded.

If he is using his status now to convince the government, then, good for other crypto users in his country.
But while waiting for the action of his government, he can do other things to help their community.
Like giving education to those who want to learn about crypto and other related matters to it.
As he is already rich, he can use it to his advantage in reaching out his fellowmen how to uplift the status of their lives.
I believe a lot of Pakistanis are living poorly, and that's where he can assist the government.

Many people from Pakistan had become a billionaire and millionaire. This case was started on 2017,it made huge difference in bitcoin price. After the ban of bitcoin in Pakistan during the 2017.It was remarkable year of the bitcoin. If I had a time machine,I will go to 2017 and send my sold bitcoin on 2017 to current wallet.Actually it was not possible, but we can do the same now and save our bitcoin .

Okay, am not too okay with celebrities pushing crypto to mainstream by challenging their government. I would prefer tech personnel offering real time services where the banks and traditional institution falls short. People at the real battle field can hit the government hard, although coming together as a union to challenge the government may proof to be better.

I am not the most informed person about Pakistan, and some Pakistani person could shed some more light into this a lot better. However, for a nation that is wildly known as "highly Islamic" that usually reminds people a bit of less human rights compared to west, and a bit more sharia law.

In this case, mining is a business, but how could you get into staking? How could you get into defi? How could you get into trading? Shouldn't they be a bit illegal in their nation? I am not saying it is, I do not know, I am just guessing at this point and this is why I asked if there were any Pakistani people who could shed some lights into how that works.

I know bitcoin.is banned in Bangladesh but don't know the exact status of Pakistan, is it unregulated or banned?

Crypto Billionaire can surely inspire lot of others especially in small countries so government should consider legalizing it and also they can generate revenue from taxation on cryptocurrency.

What Wakar Zaka has been doing for a long time is to continue to oppose the government or rather pressure the Pakistan government to adopt cryptocurrency in the country. But in my opinion, so far the government has not fully responded to any criticism that Wakar Zaka conveyed on the youtube channel. Maybe the government sees it as a small threat. When it comes to the policies of a country, it is difficult to rely on just one person, if Wakar Zaka really wants to show his fame, he must be able to lead the opinions of all followers in Pakistan to voice those aspirations. Because after all it becomes a real action rather than being behind the scenes. If he is indeed a billionaire who has a big influence in the country.

Recently Cointelegraph covered a story where a celebrity Waqar Zaka from Pakistan not only become a crypto billionaire but also challenged the government to adopt bitcoin. A must watch inspirational story and journey.

How a Pakistani celebrity and crypto billionaire challenged his government

Good work, yes he did build some awareness among Pakistanis about the crypto community. There are many Pakistani who were unaware of the word crypto-currency but because of him now they know something.

Only one thing I disagree with is his claim of making "millions" or "billions" from crypto trading. Actually it will be the same as someone claiming to get you richer quickly using the stock exchange. What I mean to say is crypto-trading is something else and Bitcoin or Crypto as a currency is something different.

Bitcoin gives you stability and if he focuses his mission on bitcoin "not trading" I'm sure there will be a huge difference. Trading is always riskier whether its stocks or cryptocurrency and we know crypto currencies are more volatile than anything.

Im bit familiar on this one on where it do really have some claims on becoming a billionaire or millionaire(totally forgot) but in behind it is ending up on being a exchange platform owner.LOL!

If this billionaire and celebrity doesnt really have behind intent of this exposure then it would really be a good awareness into people who had lived on Pakistan as this thing would really be making some
curiosity.

I highly doubt that government would made out such decision just because they had been challenged. They would be always be having the final say on things.

Maybe he'll be the next leader like president of El Salvador

The link to the video is already mentioned in the OP. You just need to click on the below link.

Secondly, do not compare this guy with the president of the El Salvador. This guy seems to be a celebrity or perhaps a film star type of person who later joined crypto not only for himself but used his links and fame to educate his nation too. I like his mindset of him as he cares for his countrymen.

Honestly speaking, at first I didn't know him because of crypto. I saw him in the Indain Roaster videos. However, in my YouTube feed, I received a recommendation for Wakar Zakas Crypto Video. Then I saw his video and I saw that he directly challenged the government over bitcoin and crypto. I was just shocked. How did he do this?

Same case for me as i got to know about Waqar Zaka from those roasting videos. However, he challenged Pakistani Govt to put 1% fund into Bitcoin while it was at around $5.5k and covid was started according to the attached video. So he was well skilled to analysis the outcome as halving was happened back in May 2020 and bet all his wealth in return. It would say, he bet based on the experience of FA, hehe. As of now, he's uploading crypto based videos on his channel which could be good for his followers.

Once a man, twice a child!
I will continue to hate dictatorship and censorship of any kind. Any country that censors free speech and ease of doing business by its citizens should be condemned. I believe that's why the US hates anything that doesn't promote democracy. I listened to the part where the Pakistani celebrity – Waqar Zaka, said he sued his government to court because of what he called unconstitutional ban of Bitcoin in Pakistan. It was an action worth emulating.

Maybe he'll be the next leader like president of El Salvador
Isn't that already like being over ambitious?

A little search will help you get the information you require, don't be lazy bro, here you go - waqar zaka cryptocurrency. Note if you are not urdu speaking person you will find it difficult to understand except there is a way you can translate.

Back to the topic - i hope with his effort to push btc to the public eyes his goal will be achieved someday in the future, he may be considered as a controversial celebrity but he uses his influence to promote btc which is good, i would like to see more celebrities doing what Zaka is doing.

Though Waqar Zaka is very controversial celebrity in Pakistan and his activities on social media are not much liked in Pakistan   but whatever he has done so far for adoption/legalization of crypto currencies in Pakistan is highly appreciated. Legalization of crypto in Pakistan is not going to happen so soon because of FATF and many other issues which cripple government not to take step in this direction but still we should continue raising our voice.

He is a popular celebrity in Pakistan and ever got a reward of his humanitarian work, this make him have a power to control his followers. His followers definitely will support him if they were fanatic, so he's taking a risk to become the popular person on Pakistan about cryptocurrency.

It teaches one thing: that someone should stand and talk, and then others will definitely join in.
It's on your theory and someone achievement, also Pakistan isn't ban Bitcoin. While you're from Bangladesh where Bitcoin got banned, if you stand and talk about Bitcoin in public, then others will definitely leave you alone since you're breaking law and might be jailed.

even though I am not from Pakistan. But I know Wakar Zaka from 2019. I actually knew him as the most controversial celebrity in Pakistan. Then I knew that he was the first person who stood for bitcoin again against the government in Pakistan. And he always gave valid points. That's why he always won. And because of him, other Pakistanis also got currage and joined with him. Though he is not from my country, we would definitely have a wakar zaka in our country too. It teaches one thing: that someone should stand and talk, and then others will definitely join in.
