Well, the first ban period is generally for 14Days , and the second time badbear bans for 60days (just telling from what i've seen).

The first wave of mass-bannings that happend about a month ago the majority were definitely for a week. They were banned over the weekend and back the following one, though I'm sure your initial ban depends on the severity of the spamming in the opinion of the mod who issued it and isn't fixed in place.

This forum has grown big nowadays. so, now the mods cannot afford half of the posts being made here to be useless. The mods have to ban the spammers quickly else their will be a mess around this forum. I completely support BadBear for his fast rate of banning people Wink

I got hit for 2 weeks straight up. And I don't think my posts were "crazy"

Yawn. This is old now. I don't believe I've contradicted myself anywhere so I don't see how I'm a hypocrite, but if I am a spammer then surely I would've been banned by now. I understand yours and others frustrations when you were banned without a warning, but don't take your ban out on everyone else.

No it isn't fair, you should push for a better solution than arbitrary bannings. I am. Hasn't happened yet though so I'm doing what I have to.

I sent you a pm and didn't get a response. I think if temp bans are used as a first resort then they should at least scale upwards ie 1st offence 3 days 2nd offence 1 week etc etc.
