Actually it’s up to project based on this if the project is for long time then this will take time and also more laborious and it depends on the miner how they wants to run actually.

There are two types of projects with long bounties
1. Projects that prolong their running bounties because their management understands that the market at the bottom and they in (most cases) won't be able to collect the necessary amount of money in such market conditions. This situation does not mean that a project is a scam, the market conditions have changed dramatically and a project changed bounty campaign's rules
2. Projects that at the beginning create bounties which will last from a half of year or more. I don't believe such projects, from my experience in most cases, these ones are scams and won't collect money.

I don't like that idea of long-term bounty. Any bounty above 8-10 weeks, becomes trying to most  participate.

well i joined a couple of bounties that on there 30th month.
but the thing is, its not necessarily a scam.
they have their road map and plans. on how theyll initiate there projects
and alongside of it the bounty.
but the thing is. the longer the bounty the smaller the rewards
why? hunters getting more and more stakes and the bounty attracts more hunters
making the allocated token much lesser when it comes to distribution of stakes.
but in the end game, long bounty is really a good help with the project.
specially when the cap is not been reached

no one knows about the future of a bounty project, a moment or the duration of a bounty project, cannot guarantee the success of a project.
but now, I am only looking for a bounty project for a short time, because I am bored if I take part in a bounty for a long time, especially if the project ends scam, then I will be very disappointed.

I don't pay attention to the project. But while it is still running properly included in the sale and others then just follow it certainly is a good thing. despite indications of a scam is also not completely true but at least do an analysis of the team and a lot of things to ensure this. long running reasonably just because it may indeed have a great target.

there are some signs that a project is a scam. like the information that minim from the team. it can be a sign of a project that we follow is a scam. in following the bounty we also must be more careful because if we are negligent then we can get the scam ico. we know that the scam ico is very disappointing for bounty hunters.

I noticed really such a moment that the longer the bounty campaign lasts, the more chance it will turn out to be a scam, but if it does not deceive, then you will get very few rewards, because there are a lot of bounty hunters in this campaign.

For me the longer the bounty the lesser the reward but I think only signature rewards is high as compared to social media rewards.

We have to look at the performance of the project development team, whether the product made requires an old manufacturing process or not, we can judge it.

i also did a few bounties that took way to long and the payment was trash. I can give you as example  the latest  one DataBroker Dao. It took so long and it got listed 10x lower and the tokens worth like a few $.

Sometimes, an ico are planning to extend their tokensale for many kind of reasons. The reason for this is that, it may be the effect of price dump of bitcoin and ethereum, causing the tokensale to be extended. And the next, is when the ico team didn't achieve its softcap, forcing the ico tokensale to extend a short period to a long period of time in order for them to reach softcap and continue with their project.

These days there are so many long term project. Others did not reach the softcap or the allocated amount during the Ico. It is hard to conclude if the project will turn to scam so might as well be careful on choosing the bounty project to join.

The longer Bounty the less reward. This principle proved itself and showed its effectiveness. With this rank, the most profitable and logical solution is to join the company for a week and no more.

I prefer short term bounty projects. Because often they provide bigger rewards which is pretty cool. And i don't think i can determine a bounty whether it is legit or scam by it's campaign running time.

as long as i follow the bounty i never get the scam ico, and i hope it will not happen. choosing a project is difficult and easy because now there are many scam projects. we must be more careful in choosing because if we choose the bounty that wrong then we will get the loss.

I prefer to do bounties that last for less than 3 months because if project then fail I have lost lots of time for nothing but unfortunately many ICO delays public sale date and so actually there are many bounties that lasts for more than 4-6 months..

I can not give certainty, because there are also many projects that have long but ended with happiness, but some are ending with evil.
it all depends on your decision, if you feel that looking for another bounty is better, then please find another for your kindness.

Long time project will scam or not is depends on the team. We cannot judge the long time project will scam and short project not scam. It's not a parameters to judge the project scam or not. Previously I follow the bounty project which started since a year ago and it's not scam because the project still running and their coin already listed in big exchange. So, long or short time project it's not parameters to judge the project scam or not.

I have been in some long-term ICO projects and am not very happy because I am waiting months for payments of my tokens and am scared that I might get scammed. As I do bounties for a living it is getting harder and harder for me to keep on top of what is a good campaign and what might turn out to be a scam so we must be very careful. It is better not to select too long running projects in case their become scams. I won't now take on campaigns longer than eight weeks or so because it will be hard for me if every longer project delayed paying me I will be on the streets lol.

currently the project is very much indeed ICO. And often also the longer the increasingly long time ICO running. This is because more and more competition. So the path token sales also is getting slower. As investors also widely incorporated in other ICO. No problem waiting if the project already softcap. If it is long and yet softcap, better leave.

with the longer bounty could certainly just make more and more participants. for most people, this could certainly make things difficult because the competition is becoming increasingly bigger and make the results become small. but for the indication that it is a scam then there can be known for sure. If there are indeed signs for that certainly there will be more info.

I think you will get less reward in the bounties which are operative for a long time. Because they will have a lots of bounty hunters so the rewards will be splitted more.

I really don't like projects that have long bounties but if I'm in I will continue do to it unless there are proof that is a scam, otherwise my stakes will be too low compared to others..

It is hard to judge a bounty project by it's longevity. So you can filter scam projects only by doing a thorough research on it. But i think for greater reward short term bounties are better.

it mostly depends on the users but for having more clear and details information you could discuss with the senior bounty hunters , as long you will keep the bounty the lesser rewards you will get so choose your steps wisely

personally, if I feel that the bounty that I follow is a scam then I will immediately leave it and look for another bounty because if I continue it then it will waste time alone. I will start by looking for a new bounty and choosing a better bounty and certainly avoid the scam ico.

There are several bounties that last a long time and several reasons are responsible for this situation, such as: bearish market trend and investor flight, little capital raised in ICO and soft cap far from being reached among other items

Since it is still running,  we cannot directly conclude that it is a scam and we need to wait until it will end and will see what happens next. In my views,  I believe that the mentioned ICO's will really make their project successful soon.  Lets wait for it.

Everyone has their own judgment. My personal approach to the bounty project is to choose a project with a shorter cycle, because if the project is fake, then I can save even the loss.

I do not like campaigns that last a long time, in my experience, you can earn very little from such campaigns, so I do not see any reason to participate in them, except for those where the number of participants is limited.

Hard to say. There are projects in which the ICO lasts a very long time, but they are good projects, but also comes across fraud. For bounty hunters, the longer the bounty company lasts, the less profitable it is for them to participate.

The longer a bounty program last the lesser your earnings, for it to last for that long, it simple means the soft-cap was not reached or the team wants participant to do  a prolonged campaign while working on getting the MVP ready before crowd-sale. Many factor may play it for it to be as long as this.
you need to do your research about a project before you join some of them states how long their ICO will last, if you didn't care to check you would continue to work until you are tired.

Everything is depends on the project itself. The money they raised, number participants, their allocated amount everything depends.

For me any bounty that doesn't have a time line of the end of bounty is a pass for me, I think that joining a bounty which has long time period is a waste of time especially if you are a low rank member.

We cant make any jurisdiction or final conclusion if the project would be a success or a total flop if the are still on ico phase. You are mostly or talking about bounty programs then those things will keep running if a certain project didn't able to hit their cap. They do decide to extend rather than on cancelling it out and some projects do make marketing way too early or few months before the sale so these things are just part.

I believe every bounty hunter won't like or want to join bounty that last so long, For me I don't like joining bounty that last so long because as a Jr member at the end of the bounty, i might not get well paid, I prefer bounty that last max 8 weeks.

You should be really careful. Because a successful and fruitful project do not need a long time to be successful.

It all depends on the project . if the guys are all well will make possible and be a good judge . To be honest, I doubt it will . Since now there are projects that do not cause suspicion and eventually turn out to be scammers

I also participate in the bounty immvrse, another one of my long bounty campaign - bitschool.  I do not think that the reward will be great.  These campaigns last more than 20 weeks, and each time new members join them.  So at the end of the campaign there can be a lot of participants and a very small reward.

Well, the success doesn’t depend on the time. I believe it depends on the team and the project. So analyze and choose wisely.

The longer the bounty program, the lesser the reward as the number of bounty participants will keep increasing overtime. In order to evaluate the project, make sure you read their white paper properly and check their token price, max supply, soft cap, the team and how much is allocated to bounty participants. From my point view the reward will be lesser if the bounty in longer. I think bounty members are not increase if they will limit the participates. Another things is the bounty pool will increase. This thing does not mean that it’s a scam. I think if future long run bounty project is fruitful.

Bounty is the best and secure for invest without money. Where are more reward there are more compition. If there are no limitation it will be continue. It does not mean, that are scamed.

The less time it gets complete a bounty project, The more a hunter gets the benefit. So, Long-term projects are not favorable for bounty hunters. Before, going in a bounty, I suggest to have knowledge about the bounty first and try to assume will it be a short time or for a long time. You only go if it is for short time.

I do not like long-term projects. This is a signal that the developers do not have a really valuable product, which means they are not sure about the investors' interest. If they even collect a soft cap, it's not a fact that coins do not fly down.

I don't think this project will be a success or scam, it depends on team it self who bring their project to success or scam.

It depends on the project rule. For example for the projects that can last for over 10 months or more but there is no limitting for the participants it will decrease the rewards that we will get. And the participants are important too in a project that need to be sure to believe in the project.

according to me, quality project team and projects that can be successful do not need long time. because they can make short sales and catch softcap value. long time running projects can be extra boring for participants. so it is necessary to conduct detailed research before joining the bounty.

Longer the bounty program less would be the reward per effort. It's not just about the amount you get but also your time spent. Instead of doing a ten months long bounty, you can earn much larger by doing 10 one months bounty. The maths is simple here.

I have been thinking about the long bounty for a while now.  You have to be really careful dedicating that much time to something that may be a scam or not pay out.  I for one try to stick to 2 months or shorter as I cannot tell good from bad bounties half the time.  

I think you should learn to judge the project for yourself.
Because if a project cannot complete ICO crowd-funding, they will also have to pay no bounty.

It depends really. You cannot say for sure. Some projects might require very heavy capitalization or something like that. You have to do a thorough research in order to identify and judge whether it is a scam or not. Also the project not being ascam does not guarantee success

my experience on bounty program obizcoin so long .. the result is very unsatisfactory .. when I join social media program .. about four months I joined .. but now their coin not so valuable .. i become reluctant to join bounty program with time a very long time..

Often we will be tired if their program very long time..or we will forgot it..primary for me i always join some bounty that have program just one or two month maximum..maybe we will know how about this project will be failed or reached their softcap..for social media primary just join when they have four week..

For me the longer the bounty the lesser the rewards for the hunters  because bounty participants will also increase unless they will limit the participants, and the bounty pool will be  increase. But these incident DOES NOT mean that the project is scam, most likely the project have not yet reached the target amount or soft cap to start the project.

For bounty lasting over 10 months people seem to have got anything ranging from thousands of dollars to below $100.
In general I believe longer bounty distributes it's funding to large number of people and hence have lesser reward for individuals.
So, I like to be engaged in bounties that are for limited time period and for limited number of participants.

Ask to all senior bounty hunter .how about bounty program that have long time at their program.it will scam or be succes their project..example ..immvrse, darico bounty .remecoin.truplay and etc..untill now their project still running..i was stop join it and search other bounty program..how your opinion?
