Very good experience with Little Snitch (http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html) here. It does not come for free but it is well designed in monitoring any outgoing network activity and let you decide very fine grained (by port, by server, until program shuts down, forever) if this activity is to be allowed.
ClamAV has a Mac version. Trivial googling will bring up the proper site.
I saw that, any good? I've seen some mixed opinions on it, but not a lot of detail.

Hopefully someone else will bring in something good. I don't know a lot of mac users who actually bother with security, and it's silly.

I'm not a Mac user but I've heard of one called Mac Defender... 
(just kidding - do NOT go install Mac Defender, although there is a legit product called Mac Defender there's also a virus called Mac Defender.)

I'm not sure how much of a selection there is out there, but any recommendations on Anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-malware programs for mac?
