Don't believe the rumors that China has banned the use of Bitcoin. Rumors about China banning the use of bitcoin from year to year are always there, but the fact is that China is ranked second in bitcoin holdings, so there is a possibility that they will want to dominate bitcoin in the future. creating rumors about a crypto ban and bitcoin is a trick to get them to adopt bitcoin at a very low price.

I shrug it off. China has been negative towards bitcoin since time immemorial, and to let such a good piece of technology die just because some Communist Country tells its people it is bad to have freedom through the currency isn't something that would faze me. As a matter of fact, a lot of us here are already fed up with China's bullcrap that they didn't bother getting into the news anymore. And the evidence is bitcoin's sudden pump even during this banning.
I dont care about China, so the things that happened related to them dont even bothered me, I just dont understand why there are still a lot of people who do panic selling when they have heard some news relates to this. The market always immediately reacts when China do these things and besides this is not the first time it happened hoping that next time people will become smarter than they dont also get bothered by this kind of FUD.
A lot of us are like you already my friend. It has been a long time since we've heard anything good come from China, it's time we detoxify and not let these FUD get into our heads. I may sound like some evangelist thinking of bitcoin as a savior of the masses but the thing is, China has antagonized cryptocurrencies for so long that it's just annoying at this point, so there's no reason as to why you should even consider the implications of China ever banning cryptocurrency within their border.

They aren't enforcing the ban at all, so no one is going to be effected by it.

Give it a few years when they get desperate enough with CNY, they might try to enforce it. This is a country that has millions of muslims in concentration camps so I'd say they'll put up quite a fight (but won't end up successful.)

The consensus of the majority seems not to see this it serves as a worrying part of crypto development. People has been satisfied with the market performance without China and the current news that we've heard seemingly doesn't affect us. People who have the trust in crypto will simply ignore this, and I did.

Can't stop them from spreading FUDs just to stop Bitcoin where it continues to grow despite all of these things. We will still be in success without China, that is how we figure out.

Look at what is happening to the crypto market, bitcoin is going bullish instead of going down. Though there was a slight decline when China announced such news but only short period of time. And now, btc is going up again. So yes, it seems the crypto community doesn't make the news from China a big deal anymore. They can't control what may happen to this market. And will continue to grow without their participation.
or... they might successfully reached their goal to make bitcoin price dropped for a while and the current bouncing back is made in china lol. nobody just know... one thing is pretty sure that china government play it dirty , they talk A but act B..

they ban bitcoin but also facilitate crypto https://www.scmp.com/tech/tech-trends/article/3136515/china-plans-accelerate-blockchain-development-and-adoption-push , and they did it over and over again, people confused and get lost with all of these Grin

That means the market won't just rely on China, they are not a market player, unlike in its early days where we got heavily affected with their 1st banning attempt but for now, it becomes normal and people never think it. The market moves freely, we got this recovery so fast, and even without China Bitcoin will keep soaring high as it did several times.

Well, I was happy that China is leaving from crypto so these FUDs will stop. And they can't use this anymore as a tool to ruin the future of Bitcoin and the entire market as nobody else is listening to them right now. I know people had read it but just ignore then after.

I don’t know, but how did these people get to know about this information that they have posted? How did they know that these groups they have mentioned here are holding these particular amounts that they have listed? Okay, I know it’s possible for the US government to Hodl this amount because I have read stories of them confiscating bitcoins in the past, so it’s possible that they might be holding some bitcoins, although I also read from the news that they auctioned the bitcoins they got. But for the Chinese government, how exactly do we get to know about this, that they are holding this amount and it’s certain?

I don't live in China so I live the way I used to. And also the banning of BTC in China is not new, they already did this multiple times and so I have this immunity of not giving thought about it. Also the fud that it causes is natural for me now and doesn't cause any panic.

It is not new, it has been several times news about this, why should be popular again this time when the market should be bullish?
Maybe there are some certain willingness from certain whales to rise up this issue and spread the FUD  Cheesy

What do you think about this? How are you taking this ban?
Take it easy, I know that this FUD will always give a negative impact on Bitcoin price to drop down.
That is why we don't need to panic, we know that we are sad every time looking at our dropped assets, but if we panic and do some stupid and panic sell, it will be worse.

It’s quite hard to take China’s stand on Bitcoin serious anymore. They put out these negative news knowing that it has an impact on the market and they wait for the ripple effect. About the amount of Bitcoin that China owns, how was it amassed? We don’t know for sure. It could have been seized from criminals or ‘offenders’ for all we know. The fact that they hold a large amount of Bitcoin don’t mean that they fully support Bitcoin.

This won’t be the first time China would seem to be going to ‘war’ with Bitcoin. They’ve been playing this card over and over and it now seem like a strategy to boost their Economy. They for sure know that negative news tends to affect the market.

It's all good for me, I'm in what I consider to be the safest point in my hodling where even if the prices are going down, I would still make a generous profit and if I continue to hodl, I will get much bigger profit.

I am taking it like a champ.

China is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Bitcoin is bigger than China or any other country for that matter. They want to ban bitcoin? Fine. Let them ban it. That's just going to strengthen bitcoin's current position. Actually I'd like to see all countries banning bitcoin and when that happens, they'll see that bitcoin isn't dying, the real fun will begin because they'll get mad when they realize they can't really get rid of bitcoin.

I don't really mind at all since most people who're mainly affected on the regulation implemented by Chinese government are Chinese people though their first time China banning any crypto related activities. However, the market is reacts which causes it to be down and hopefully it will recover soon.

it cannot give an impact, and for your information they already out of the business because they are now running their digital currency, so no need to worry. In fact after how many negative post from them, instead of going dip bitcoin made a good progress. Lol so that means they cannot take it down anymore.. Never again.  Cheesy

@RiskySanchez China can think of itself as a part of the world. They only look for ways to control other countries to be a superior power. We know currency is everything for the economy of any country. If some unregulated currency like bitcoin takes over the world, China will lose its chance.

When this news was published. I see prices go up again. It's like we have no problem with china even though they're banning it. We will continue to grow better in the future until their regulation will return to bitcoin circulation. As we know there are many surprises in cryptocurrency.
I don't see the pump, in fact, it's one of the reasons why bitcoin still struggles until now though we are staying at a good price. China's ban has huge effect and I don't think the information OP published is true because China would not make stupid things that would result to reduce the value of their holdings.

Now the best thing happening in crypto community peoples aware of these tactics from Chines authorities as they are doing this all for many years, but now this news is having no bad impact on market or price of bitcoin. Even many holders feel good about these feuds because they try to buy some good amount in this dip as they feel blessing for buying. We all know this price will stay for very few days and then again we will enjoy our solid price.

China doing these things because mostly many peoples they hate freedom and bitcoin/crypto is name of this freedom, but my feeling is different because I feel they are taking good benefits from these as they are also taking good buying through these dips and increasing their stakes in good crypto related projects.
Tactics or not but still we are already get used to it after all the years they've been doing such bullshit things and did really affect the market movement or situation. How am i taking it?

Its better to ignore and get used to it because this was always their common behavior specially of Bitcoin is mooning or having some good rally in its price. They do tend up on making scenes on point

where it do result out on some reversal trend. This is something not new because it did really happen in the past for how many times already thats why im not already surprised.

What do you think about this? How are you taking this ban?

It is now just repetitive and a same old thing. The market didn't collapse everytime this news spreads so its actually not a big deal. Plus, banning of BTC in china doesn't mean that the hodlers will actually throw away/sell their btc right away. Yes they will ALL sell it in the right time but it is a normal trading/investment scenario that will not affect me at all. They can just hide it and pretend nothing is happening.

Tbh, I'm not that bothered about the ban. The only downside to that news is that market always reacts to it negatively and that's what we're seeing right now. Aside from that, I'm not bothered. I mean, this is actually not the first time that China has openly gone all out for crypto and definitely won't be the last. Just like @jackg said, the ban might just be to prevent people from investing and that they should focus more on government based ventures.

Absolutely right. This is not first time CHINA banned crypto currency in their country, there is long history of banning and it always had temporary effect on Bitcoin price  and later  it recovered quickly. Bitcoin is decentralized and anti inflation digital currency and it has won the confidence of investors with its outstanding performance since it was launched so serious and long term investors will continue holding it and this kind of FUD won't bother them much.

When China always gives negative news for bitcoin, it's China's decision and we can't stop it. what we can do is not have to respond or expose it. As long as I or you who are not Chinese will not be a problem, we just have to ignore it.
China has always been against crypto and the peak is now. Chinese citizens are prohibited from using crypto and big miners in China are expelled.

When China is no longer influential for crypto, then other negative news will have no effect.
They're done, their market influence has been over a very long time, and even hearing such banning issues or FUD's, it never weighs a lot and it was just ignored. That is why we'd never see a huge impact on the trend, it was just a coincidence that happens. Maybe some did selling after reading the news but the majority of we're still calm and patient waiting for the recovery as I believe it won't take so long.
We have nothing to expect from China anymore and expected to hear that again someday until they become a crypto-free country.

Hate or not the news about a government and especially a big one like china completely banning the use of bitcoin is a negative news and we are truly seeing its influence on the market, sure they banned the mining in earlier date and that affected the price slightly, but banning the use of it is a big deal, and we all know that the government has a some strict surveillance on its  people so anyone who is using bitcoin will defiantly be looking to sell.
There's nothing we can do but to deal with it because this is something that cant really be changed whenever they do like on banning everything according to their liking.China's behavior had been always like this on where they do really get rid of things that they dont like or simply cant control knowing on how a communist country China been then its no surprise that they would really be making such action but based off on history then
there are several times that China make out some pullbacks of their decisions which turns out to be having that impression to be a bit manipulative.
For me, i chose to be calm as i'm not affected with this and i think we bitcoiners should have to accept and live with this. This is not the first time banning from China so probably, there will still bannings that will happen every year. And knowing China who's very authoritative, so they will do everything just to make bitcoin stop from evolving. But that will not happen for sure. Because China is just a single country, there are still lots of countries who are supporting and adopting bitcoin too. In the long run, China will never have an effect to bitcoin anymore even how many bannings will be imposed.

This should be how we take on those issues hurdling down by China and we need to accept that this kind of attack towards bitcoin is normal since they want to manipulate the result then gain at the end of the day if they are successful to move downwards the market.

And its good to see how the market goes after they fud since even though we see it again that China spreading fud in the market we can still see that bitcoin is going solid run.

Ultimately the reason China is banning cryptocurrency is they see it as a threat to their economy and at the same time as an opportunity to push the digital yuan which has been an ongoing effort to develop for years. I don't see the digital yuan as quite ready to be rolled out yet but these bans and tighter restrictions are stepping stones for when they are ready. They want more laws and regulations on the books so when the time is right they can enforce them and it won't be seen as one swift action. It will instead be a series of small actions that slowly tightened their control over the digital economy with the final step being the deployment of the digital yuan.  Will it be successful? I have no idea but that is how I see it today.

What do you think about this? How are you taking this ban?

Well we don't understand at the moment here what the BAN is doing.  Is the chinese government rounding up all bitcoin facility owners and locking them away in jail?  Are just technologically seizing bitcoin?  Are they putting people in prison for using it?  Well what are they banning?  are they enforcing the law putting bitcoin miners away for fraud?  Maybe you could explain what there seizing if anything.  Maybe this is the government making themselves rich seizing all the bitcoin from all the facilities is that what is going on?

Can you explain whats going on?

I'm not taking this very good honestly. I don't know why China government banned cryptocurrencies but actually it is not too hard to predict the reason correctly. They have already been antagonizing cryptocurrencies for a very long time. And they have finally decided to impose a ban on them. They didn't want their people to take big risks in this market. But this not the best way to approach to this market.
we have to realize that china is doing propaganda market for crypto especially bitcoin.  If it's true that China is banning crypto, China should be sporting to prohibit anyone in China from owning bitcoin.  However, the reality is that China currently occupies the 2nd position with the largest crypto holdings in the world.  this is clearly an unreasonable thing and a market propaganda for china to take advantage of the moment to profit from bitcoin in the future
As we have seen in the chart, China has been a big part in crypto holdings but what they are showing to us is that they don't really care about what the future of bitcoin is. Are they only manipulating the market? So that if the market dumps, they will be buying bitcoins that are in cheap prices. I guess this is their own motive, to take advantage whenever there is an opportunity to buy. Their banning of bitcoin is just a front so that everyone will believe that they won't be needing bitcoin because they believe in their own virtual currency.

I do not live in China, so the ban doesn't bother me at all. It would have an impact on the price, but that would only be temporary, eventually the market would adjust to it. The Chinese government simply locked themselves out of the network.

My country banned banks from mediating transactions involving Bitcoin some months ago and this actually increased the popularity of bitcoin, so, the decision of the Chinese government could actually have a positive effect in the long run.

It's a good thing that most of us here aren't living in China. The market might be affected by the banning these days but I'm sure that it wouldn't affect Bitcoin in the long run. We all know how Bitcoin could surpass all the tests of time and because of its stronger foundation, I believe that it could stand firmly despite this kind of ban.

maybe many people don't care about the news of the bitcoin ban from china, because this is the umpteenth time china has made a statmed when it prohibits activities in the form of bitcoin, if I'm not mistaken from 2013 this news started to exist, but we can see bitcoin still exists and continues to grow , I think this news is just a price diversion so that the Chinese people can buy bitcoin again at a low price and make bitcoin reach a new ath again

I'm not taking the China ban very good because it affected the market in a really bad way. Maybe Bitcoin price didn't drop very sharply and it is actually maintaining its usual level. But the main problem is that there will be so many people who will have to stop using Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies. As people will start selling their coins, this can cause Bitcoin not to hold onto the current resistance level for a long time.

Until now bitcoin is still standing and the price of bitcoin is not so affected by the issue made by the Chinese state, this proves that bitcoin is independent and does not depend on anything even on the state. With this incident bitcoin is increasingly in demand by new investors.
China makes issues like this, of course they have a mission and if the price of bitcoin goes down with the issue they make then they will buy bitcoins in large quantities and after that they will make positive issues about bitcoin with the aim of boosting the price of bitcoin and they sell it they will get the advantage of this incident, so don't be easily influenced by issues made by countries like China, they only prioritize personal gain and don't care about others.

I will take my say that the ban can and will majorly affect the users within and from the China region. The Chinese has more users, followers, backers and supporters in the crypto world. When we talk or look at the big miners, it comes from China, and now the government is kicking against it. This which the Chinese government is doing is to affect the international usage of bitcoin from banks and local stores (cause I will believe China is already making use of bitcoin on the daily activities). This ban will not be affected if the coins are stored in cold or offline wallet, whereby the internet is not need for that.
This will affect the price of bitcoin as fundamental analysis will have its play somehow, and which will not take long.

This is really weird China bans bitcoin, mining and all crypto markets I think what conspiracy is China planning? Every 4 years when the bitcoin trend increases, that's where Chinese news always appears and continues to sell old news, is this a scheme of the whales? who knows. it's all still a mystery China's freedom is to use the products they own not the world owns that's what i understand how china works in regulating their country because of that crypto is the goal of china to regulate it from their country including dumping bitcoin prices

For now there is a lot of negative news spread in the media about the crypto world, and now the chinese state again bans the use of bitcoin and this is not the first time, and I will not care about the news because the current growth of bitcoin is increasing and the current decline is only temporary and we should be able to use some of our assets to invest and rest assured the increase will happen again, and news from china just as an engineering to drop the price of bitcoin.

nothing, I mean, it is quite clear where they are heading at. it was only a matter of time before they completely ban bitcoin in their country.

How are you taking this ban?
what is there to take? I am pretty sure a lot of people(including me) have expected for this to happen. they've been slowly banning bitcoin in their country for years now so there is nothing to be surprised about or be worried about.

Chinnese Goverment hold 194k bitcoin ? where do all those numbers come from? confiscation from the government to their citizen ? regarding your question I might not feel any impact from their regulation about bitcoin ban. maybe people from that country who have spent a lot of money investing in crypto and crypto-related industries are feeling the impact about that.
It seems China really used the moment from their bad news banning bitcoin and buy a lot of bitcoin. I think they will try to spread another negative news about bitcoin to buy more bitcoin, especially if the price can drop for more. We never know how China can collect that big amount of bitcoin but from what they did before, they really know how to confuse people with their statement about bitcoin.

It's no longer a secret and has long ago this issue blows. Always the issue is exhaled related to China and the prohibitions, such as Never-Ending Bad News.
We also don't know the real meaning behind the issues that are always exhaled. What is certain is that this issue always makes people panic and affect the Crypto market.
During this time, we cannot avoid various games of the Whales and also various interests of major countries. And China is one of the big countries that consistently always gives FUD for Crypto.

So I personally have not been shocked again, just enjoy the process while watching the market movement wants in the actual direction.

I guess, a lot of us here are now used to this kind of news coming from China.
But regarding the figures posted by the OP, how authentic those numbers are?
Because as it sits right now, China is still holding a lot of bitcoin and don't know what their plans on that stash as they are totally banning its usage?

Yeah right knowing they always do this so we can expect that repeatative schemes will not totally give huge effect in the long run thats why we see only small declines happen in the market and this is also an indicator for others to not easily get panic once there is an issue like this come since for sure after the dump happen the pump will follow since those who want to make bitcoin dump will accumulate at the dip.

Some reports telling that china government's place is second in holding Bitcoin. But we're seeing that china is always publishing negative news about crypto currency / Bitcoin. They've published noticr about banning Bitcoin in a several times.
Ref:

What do you think about this? How are you taking this ban?

One thing i know about china is that they really olay tight and safe in their economy irrespective of the situation, the man satoshi who started Bitcoin is a Japanese and not a Chinese, and you could understand very well that china dont jeopardize with their economy system especially when it comes to inventions, dey prefer to start first and others follows.

I also think they are playing safe in order not to devalue their Yuan currency exchange rate if more priority is given to crypto, all inventions in china today were been made by the Chinese including the internet (ip), network, mobile devices, among others, their official language is Chinese, and make use of all finished end products made in china. They also believe in contending power of rule with the USA with due time, all these features couldn't have possibly aid their conviction to adopting Cryptocurrency as it was not invented by them at first.

They have already been antagonizing cryptocurrencies for a very long time.
Do you know when China was antagonizing cryptocurrencies for the first time? I think not only China, there are actually many other countries to ban crypto. Dude, don't you realize that China is potentially just a victim of news manipulation spreading by the whales? How if whales are intended to target China to be the one to blame for the market crisis? Lately, I am starting to think about this, because many FUDs spreading was just old news.

Intentional or not,it doesnt really matter. If they are top 2 holders of most coins then i wont be surprised that they've been doing these bans just for making the market dips out for them to accumulate more.
Possible?Yes it is but i wont really be surprised that they would be reverting up their ban decisions later on just like on what they had done back in the years on where bans do happen
and later on there was lifting of the ban and now we are seeing bans again? China do really loves on stirring up the market.

You know the feeling of getting high with Mary Juana.  Grin

Nah, Tbh I ain't that much affected about the banning issue. In this type of industry patience and being calm is a must, so that's what I'm doing right now. I don't let this issue affects my daily life, trading and any other investments (incl. Crypto and Stock). I focus more on how to improve myself in general and try to gather more information for my next investment.

As much as I see it, this is just a manipulation act and it happens before. History is repeating itself, so yeah Panic is just a common reaction to this type of issue but we all know what happens when we let Panic took over are judgement and state of mind.

It's not the first time they've implemented regulations that are detrimental to bitcoin. If a pre-configured layout among these dictatorships includes the next set of stains that block tradingview, CMC,,, it's messy. China's decision to ban cryptocurrencies is just not understandable. They have been against this cryptocurrency market the whole time and finally they have done what they aimed. Nominally, they want to prevent their people from losing money in cryptocurrencies. But they could still have done this by having stricter regulations about cryptocurrencies and the crypto exchanges.

Although I don't really like the CCP, we can't ignore the fact that China is the no.2 economy in the world. So a ban in China, is not good news for us. It will have some impact, at least for the short to medium term. But what concerns me more is the fact that China produces more than 99% of the mining equipment that is currently being used. If the CCP can ban mining, there is no guarantee that they will not prohibit the manufacturing of Bitcoin mining equipment. And if that happens, there will be complete chaos at the market.

Nothing new. Really, it's China being China all over again. We've had this what, how many times already, 3? 4? China has always been known to be against crypto, them officially announcing it doesn't seem like it could affect the market that much in the long term. The market of China isn't a necessity in the market of Bitcoin after all, heck, even the ban would probably not even stop people from China who truly want to trade Bitcoin. It was made that way, and I'm pretty sure a country isn't enough to prevent it's core tech.
I'm already used to it. And based on what i have seen in the market, there might be some minor dumps when this negative news hit the market, but after a while, they start to recover again. So bitcoin is not really affected unlike in the previous years where there is a  ban, the market suddenly react negatively.

I even think that after all this banning from China, those who are not yet involved in the crypto community will eventually join the team soon. The result comes perfectly positive out from a negative event.

all are affected by the bitcoin ban I think, because the decline in the value of BTc to 41k $ at this time and caused a fairly large minus asset, but I believe btc will rise again albeit slowly.
but if you ask about the impact of the ban on crypto in my country it has no impact at all because my government cares little about crypto even though it has not been legalized

Just heard about that news recently. Even if we think about it anyway, there is nothing we could do about it. I've been seeing a lot of crypto and china news already for a long-time and it just does not bother me a single bit already even in other country bans. GPU enthusiast would be a bit more happy though, since they believe that the inflation of price of GPUs are due to crypto mining and from Bitcoin being banned, surely they are looking and eyeing on the drop of GPU price.

let's see this table if it updates next year, is China still in 2nd position?

That’s really painful to digest.
But we shouldn’t worry, if we don’t belong from China.
Moreover Chinese people can still use Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is decentralised, that is cannot controlled by any government.
So no need to worry regarding all the negativity spreading by government.
Yes the only worse thing can happen is falling price of BTC.
Hope everything becomes normal soon.

This ban should be a major concern for those living in China. In my own locality we have banned bitcoin severally but its still in use and our exchanges are fully functional we even launched our own digital currency and have many top companies around buying bitcoin and saving converting most of their company asset to crypto. The ban of crypto in China has little or nothing to do with me since I don't base there

I have been in this situation before where I see china banning Bitcoin and it effected the market temporarily. The effect of this news or fud is not long lasting one and hence if you have believe in crypto, there is nothing to be worried about.

Not first time, not last time for sure. China repeat ban again and impact on market was not so big. Old crypto users dont upset too much, they use this actual dip to full bags cos recovering will happen I think.
Right , people in crypto are now knowledgeable of this matter and we are not really affected in all matter.

For me personally china ban didn't even matter because it's not the first time they are doing such things and keep on ignoring such news whose main aim is create FUD in the market and those who panic sell at this time are the ones who loose in the end.China holding themselves and banning others from holding it is clear sign of zero financial freedom over there.

I agree with you, we don't need to panic about the news that China will ban Bitcoin, it's FUD that the Chinese government has often spread.
They want to see the price of Bitcoin fall, because for them the existence of Bitcoin is only a threat to their digital currency. Indeed, many people
are quite affected by the news, especially newbies will definitely become panic sell. But we must remember that many institutions have invested
in Bitcoin in the long term, meaning that the Bitcoin support price is quite strong and won't drop below $30k this year.  So we have to be patient
and hold Bitcoin until the market recovers. If we panic then we ourselves will lose money, my advice is to ignore all the FUDs that are currently scattered.

So since this was as a result of crypto seized by the Chinese Government from "the PlusToken Ponzi scheme crackdown" then I wouldn't really say it belongs to the Chinese Government as if they Invested in Bitcoin and became the second-largest Hodlers of Bitcoin even though it is in their possession. I think we do understand why this is the case since the Government has made its position known about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in general and we see the effect that NEWS constantly cause on the market. I do however believe that all this crackdown on crypto by the Chinese government will eventually come to an end and there will be no more thing to say about crypto anymore in the near future.

It is not worth complying with the enactment of policies that mistreat their interests for years in search of huge gains in bitcoin. That bullshit FUD and FUD continues. Building firewalls that block their citizens from accessing CMC or CG is as much bullshit as I can understand. Lol

https://www.yahoo.com/now/china-blocks-coingecko-coinmarketcap-other-071627705.html?

It is like a big stimulant for bitcoin to quickly move away from the $50k stop and towards $100k. I expect them to fall further behind the US in a war where their position has been in favor of bitcoin in the past.

What do you think about this?
There is no thought or action taken by us about banning crypto in china, that's their business, it's up to China what they want to do with crypto, the bottom line: my country is safe and fine for crypto users, what does it matter with china, over time they will get tired of banning it.

OP, I've seen crypto vs China very often, actually it's all bullshit, as long as you're not a Chinese citizen and don't live in China what do you care, China doesn't use their crypto that is losing money, they know crypto makes the biggest asset for them, so it doesn't matter to me about that.

You know, China is hit by a disaster in this year 2021, floods and typhoons hit, their buildings and infrastructure are destroyed, they want to rise from the destruction and the economy, The fastest and best effective way to boost their economy is Bitcoin/crypto, so relax, there's something going on behind it all, there's a shrimp behind a rock, the saying goes.

I do not think much about that ban as I do not think China is really serious about banning crypto. From your report, China is in second place in holding bitcoin, so China uses the chance from their negative news to buy bitcoin at a low price. They really know how to spread the FUD and how to use it for their benefit. You should not worry about their negative news and use it for your benefit. Follow them to buy more bitcoin.

I think it's not something to be worried about. China has done this numerous times in the past and they are doing it again to spread FUD to make the market go bearish. When they achieved the thing that they want which is to make the crypto prices go down, they'll just buy the dip like a wise investor. And I think we should do the same. Don't let the FUD get into you and shaken you up to sell your assets at a low price, instead take this situation as a blessing and go buy the dip. After all this news, surely bitcoin will bounce back like it always does. Don't let the negative news affect your judgment because I'm certain they are doing this for a reason. They won't totally ban crypto because the government itself possesses so many coins itself.

I am not bothered at all....

When China announced that they are banning Crypto currency mining, the Bitcoin price dropped a little ...and then it recovered. So let's analyze why that happened.

1. The Chinese Bitcoin miners started to dismantle their operations in China and they simply relocated to Bitcoin friendly countries.  Grin
2. The initial news scared some speculators and newbie traders, but the more experienced Bitcoin traders and hoarders just smiled.
3. Some other positive events eventually just counter the negative news... so we just wait it out.  Cheesy

Do not panic when the mainstream media tells you "that the sky is falling" .....the over react to sell the news.  Wink

Who cares if China bans Bitcoin? What do they have to give us? Nothing! Just constant bans that only affects our market and trades. In all of this, that's my only concern; the market's reaction to the news. IMO, what they did a few days ago was uncalled for. If they want to want to renew their ban or whatever, they should consider it's effect and not do it in bear runs. But they don't care anyways.

Maybe China government wasn't holding the most Bitcoins but it had so many people who were interested in cryptocurrencies and as traders. So this can be seen as a big loss of demand for Bitcoin. And these times, the prices in the market is affected directly also. Bitcoin price starts struggling to break the resistance levels and this goes on for a long time. But it will not affect the market forever and at some point the market will have a new bull run.

China's central bank has announced that all transactions of crypto-currencies are illegal, effectively banning digital tokens such as Bitcoin. ... China is one of the world's largest crypto-currency markets. Fluctuations there often impact the global price of crypto-currencies.
China wants to crush crypto because it hates the smell of freedom.
But China’s ban won’t big impact crypto at all.

What do you think about this? How are you taking this ban?
Taking it pretty much the same way I took all other previous bans in other countries, meaning not caring about it at all. It is true that this ban is probably the harshest so far in China and market reacted to it, but to be honest, the less Bitcoin has to do with China, the better. So whatever happens, its not bad for Bitcoin in the long run.

Some reports telling that china government's place is second in holding Bitcoin. But we're seeing that china is always publishing negative news about crypto currency / Bitcoin. They've published noticr about banning Bitcoin in a several times.

are you a chinese ? if not then why care about their banning? i don't know what is your main objective here but it seems that China had banned Bitcoin slowly for long time , first Mining and now totally Bitcoin.
I don't know what China government wants, but with spreading negative news we know they don't support the growth of Bitcoin. If China government owns a big number of Bitcoin, doesn't mean they like Bitcoin. Those Bitcoin probably got from criminals or taxes from Bitcoin users in China. They may not sell the Bitcoin to the market, just keep the Bitcoin on the wallets.

they holding Bitcoin because of the opportunity to profit but now that they have their own currency then leaving bitcoin and pushing their Own is what they are doing.

I find it pretty boring actuall. Same old FUD again, here we go!

What I am really waiting for is whether in the few remaining months of the year we are really going to have a rally, as most of us expect, that mimics what has happened in previous cycles. If this does not happen, many predictive models will have to be rethought. And it would have to be analyzed whether the price behavior is due to causes such as China or others, rather than supply and the pattern of cycles.

I thought seized Bitcoin should be in auction for sale and the money used by the government as a governments fund and not held by the government.
This is not what you're talking about they are holding Bitcoin, they're holding Bitcoin from a seized exchanges and they aren't the real owner of that large amount.

It's now owned by the government once they caught it from criminals.  But I think this is not good they are holding people's owner bitcoin but instead selling it as an auction so that the fund can be used it.

It has a huge impact on the Bitcoin price if all of these organizations will sell their Bitcoin.

This is not the first and won't be the last that we will hear about China's hard line stance against BTC.

So it's better not to get affected by this news and instead look at the bright side, fill your wallets with cheap bitcoin. The only one that will be affected is the Chinese bitcoin community, but then again, maybe they've also has plan B about this move by their government. So I guess the best thing to do right now is just be patience and don't get overblown on news coming from China. At least we should be immune to it by now.

That's what happened to bitcoin the news was always repeated to dump bitcoin, I just thought why they always use the same way of selling news about china? . China has always banned bitcoin in its society, is this the work of the whales? I don't know all I know bitcoin still has a good correction chart no matter what news is made but in this year everyone realized it would not be possible with news to be able to bring down bitcoin with the ability of the current audience

I thought bans normally make things more saught after, especially for those against a government (and China seem quite imperialist afaik so there might be quite a few against them from within).

If they did ban it, it's got the word out there and it's quite uncontrollable to posess - you don't need an internet connection to keep your bitcoins secure - just a private key... It probably won't cut down on scams or anything too, it's just likely designed to stop citizens/companies investing internationally (I'd guess).
